本発明は、ペダル開閉式ごみ容器に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
上部に開口部を有する容器本体に開口部を開閉するための蓋を取付け、ペダル操作により上下方向に移動して蓋を開く操作をするための蓋用操作杆を設け、この蓋用操作杆の上下方向の移動をガイドするためのガイド部を容器本体に設け、ペダルの操作により蓋用操作杆をスムーズに上下方向にガイドしながら移動して蓋を開く操作を行うようにしたペダル開閉式ごみ容器が知られている。すなわち、容器本体の下面部の設置面より上方位置において回動部材をシーソ回動自在に取付け、この回動部材の前端部にペダルを取付けると共に後端部に操作杆の下端部を回動自在に取付け、操作杆の上端部を蓋の端部に係止し、上記操作杆の上下移動のガイドをするために容器本体にガイド部を設け、ペダルを足で踏むことで回動部材をシーソ回動し、操作杆をガイド部によりガイドしながら上下移動させて蓋の開閉操作を行うようになっているペダル開閉式ごみ容器が例えば特開平11−227813号公報などにより従来から知られている。この蓋付きごみ容器としては容器本体の開口部を1枚の蓋(大蓋)で覆うようにしたものが一般的であるが、近年、ごみの分別回収などのために、ごみ容器本体内を2つに仕切り、開口部に2枚の蓋(小蓋)を開閉自在に取付けた蓋付きごみ容器が提供されている。

ところで、上記のような1枚の大蓋を取付けたごみ容器には1つの大蓋用操作杆を設けるので、1つの大蓋用操作杆をガイドするための専用のガイドを設け、また、2つの小蓋を取付けたごみ容器には1つの小蓋用操作杆を設けるので、2つの小蓋用操作杆をガイドするための専用のガイド設けるようにしており、それぞれ容器本体に設けるガイド部の構造が異なっており、前者のごみ容器は1つの大蓋用操作杆をガイドする専用の構造となっており、また、後者のごみ容器は2つの小蓋用操作杆をガイドする専用の構造となっていた。このため、従来にあっては、容器本体として2種類が必要であり、製造コスト、保管や流通コストが高くなるという問題がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は上記の点に鑑みてなされたものであり、簡単な構成で共通の容器本体に1つの大蓋用ガイド部材、2つの小蓋用ガイド部材を選択的に上下方向にガイドするように取付けることが可能で、容器本体を1つの蓋付きごみ容器や2つの蓋付きごみ容器の容器本体として共用化でき、製造コスト、保管や流通コスト低減できるペダル開閉式ごみ容器を提供することを課題とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明に係るペダル開閉式ごみ容器は、容器本体2の上部の開口部1の周囲にフランジ部14を設け、このフランジ部14の開口部1の後部側の辺に沿った部位に該辺に沿って細長くなった上下に貫通する挿通孔15を形成し、細長い挿通孔15の上記開口部1の後部側の辺に沿った対向する長辺のうち一方の長辺の中央部から細長い挿通孔15内に向けて中央ガイド突部41を設け、中央ガイド突部41の両側をそれぞれ第1主ガイド部42、第2主ガイド部43として第1主ガイド部42、第2主ガイド部43により大蓋用操作杆44の両側の被ガイド部45を上下方向にガイドするための大蓋用操作杆側ガイド部46を構成し、上記細長い挿通孔15の対向する両短辺にそれぞれ第1副ガイド部47、第2副ガイド部48を設けて対向する上記第1主ガイド部42と第1副ガイド部47の組みと対向する上記第2主ガイド部43と第2副ガイド部48の組みとで2つの小蓋用操作杆49の両側に設けた被ガイド部45をガイドするための2組の小蓋用操作杆側ガイド部50を構成して成ることを特徴とするものである。
このような構成とすることで、容器本体2に1つの大蓋用操作杆44を取付けて1枚の大蓋3を開閉する構造とする場合には、挿通孔15の中央部に1つの大蓋用操作杆44を挿通して1つの大蓋用操作杆44の両側に設けた被ガイド部45を第1主ガイド部42と第2主ガイド部43とで構成する大蓋用操作杆側ガイド部46によりガイドさせるようにし、また、2つの大蓋用操作杆49を上下方向にガイドするように取付けるには、挿通孔15の両側にそれぞれ1つずつ小蓋用操作杆49を挿通して一方の小蓋用操作杆49の両側に設けた被ガイド部45を第1主ガイド部42と第1副ガイド部47とで構成する一方の小蓋用操作杆側ガイド部50によりガイドさせるようにし、他方の小蓋用操作杆49の両側に設けた被ガイド部45を第2主ガイド部43と第2副ガイド部48とで構成する他方の小蓋用操作杆側ガイド部50によりガイドさせるようにすればよいものであり、これにより共通の容器本体2に1つの大蓋用操作杆44を上下方向にガイドできるように取付けたり、2つの小蓋用操作杆49を上下方向にガイドできるように取付けたりというように、選択的に取付けることが可能となり、また、大蓋用操作杆ガイド部46を構成する第1主ガイド部42、第2主ガイド部43をそれぞれ小蓋用操作杆ガイド部50の一構成部材として兼用化できて構造が簡略化できるものである。

このような構成とすることで、容器本体2に1つの大蓋用操作杆44を取付けて1枚の大蓋3を開閉する構造とする場合には、挿通孔15の中央部の一対のリブ59間に1つの大蓋用操作杆44を挿通して1つの大蓋用操作杆44の両側に設けた被ガイド部45を一対のリブ59よりなる第1主ガイド部42と第2主ガイド部43とで構成する大蓋用操作杆側ガイド部46によりガイドさせるようにし、また、2つの大蓋用操作杆49を上下方向にガイドするように取付けるには、挿通孔15の両側にそれぞれ1つずつ小蓋用操作杆49を挿通して一方の小蓋用操作杆49の両側に設けた被ガイド部45を第1主ガイド部42と第1副ガイド部47とで構成する一方の小蓋用操作杆側ガイド部50によりガイドさせるようにし、他方の小蓋用操作杆49の両側に設けた被ガイド部45を第2主ガイド部43と第2副ガイド部48とで構成する他方の小蓋用操作杆側ガイド部50によりガイドさせるようにすればよいものであり、これにより共通の容器本体2に1つの大蓋用操作杆44を上下方向にガイドできるように取付けたり、2つの小蓋用操作杆49を上下方向にガイドできるように取付けたりというように、選択的に取付けることが可能となり、また、大蓋用操作杆ガイド部46を構成する第1主ガイド部42、第2主ガイド部43をそれぞれ小蓋用操作杆ガイド部50の一構成部材として兼用化できて構造が簡略化できるものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明を添付図面に示す実施形態に基づいて説明する。

図13乃至図15に容器本体2が示してある。容器本体2は上部に開口部1が形成してあり、この容器本体2の開口部1の周囲には外側方に向けてフランジ部14が設けてあり、開口部1の一端部(図に示す実施形態では開口部1の1辺)における上記フランジ部14部分には上下に貫通した挿通孔15が設けてあり、この挿通孔15を設けたフランジ部14には更に外側方に向けて一対の軸支用突出部16が突出してある。

大蓋3は図16に示すようなもので、1枚で容器本体2の開口部1を閉じることができる大きさとなっている。大蓋3の一端部には突部18が突設してあり、突部18には一対のU状溝部6aよりなる大蓋側被軸支部6が形成してある。一対のU状溝部6aは少なくとも対向面側に開口し且つ突部18の突出方向に向けて開口しており、U状溝部6aの突部18の突出方向の開口付近にストッパ用凸部6bが設けてある。また、大蓋3の突部18の下面側には一対のU状溝部6a間の中間部分に操作用腕部19が突設してある。

小蓋4は図17に示すようなもので、上記大蓋3を2分割した形状をしていて2枚の小蓋4で容器本体2の開口部1を閉じることができるようになっており、各小蓋4の一端部には突部20が突設してあり、突部20には一対のU状溝部8aよりなる小蓋側被軸支部8が形成してある。一対のU状溝部8aは少なくとも対向面側に開口し且つ突部20の突出方向に向けて開口しており、U状溝部8aの突部20の突出方向の開口付近にストッパ用凸部8bが設けてある。また、小蓋4の突部20の下面側には一対のU状溝部8a間の中間部分に操作用腕部21が突設してある。

容器本体2の上部の開口部1には1枚の大蓋3又は2枚の小蓋4を選択的に取付け自在となっている。図3乃至図6は1枚の大蓋3を取付けた状態を示し、このように1枚の大蓋3を取付ける場合には、第1の主軸支部10と第2の主軸支部11とよりなる大蓋用軸支部7に、大蓋3の一端部に設けた一対の大蓋側被軸支部6を回動自在に軸支することで取付けるものである。すなわち、図21に示すように、大蓋3を起立した状態で一対の大蓋側被軸支部6を構成する一対のU状溝部6aの下方開口(突部18の突出方向の開口)を第1の主軸支部10を構成する軸部17と第2の主軸支部10を構成する軸部17とに上方から被嵌することで大蓋用軸支部7に大蓋側被軸支部6を回動自在に軸支するものである。この場合、ストッパ用凸部6bを乗り越えて軸部17にU状溝部6aを被嵌するものであり、乗り越える際に弾性的に溝幅が広がったU状溝部6aが弾性的に復元することでストッパ用凸部6bにより軸部17からU状溝部6aが抜けるのを防止している。もちろん、強い力で外すときは大蓋3を取り外すことが可能となるようにしてもよい。
