【0001】
(Levi Leo, Applied Optics: A Guide To Optical System Design/ Volume 2 (John Wiley and Sons, 1980), Chapter 12, Appendix 12.1 参照)は、波長に対する散乱放射線の強度の依存度が波長の4乗に逆比例することを示している。したがって、小さい粒子3cで得られた光の散乱は、小さい粒子3cが主に青味がかった光(B)を散乱すると同時に、比較的赤味がかった光(R)にはほとんど影響を及ぼさない。
【0037】
2)非常に大きい粒子による散乱
一方、粒径(サイズ)が波長に近いかあるいはその波長よりも大きい粒子による光の散乱は、1908年にMieによって示された式によって明らかにされている(Born and Wolf, Principles of Physics, (Pergamon Press LTD.), 1970)。
【0038】
(H.C. van de Hulst, Light Scattering by Small Particles, Wiely, New York, 1957 参照)を使用して、本実施の形態に係る光拡散板1のために望まれるパラメータを推論する。
Qsc=2−4sinρ/ρ+4(1−cosρ)/ρ^2・・(1−1)
ρ=2α(n2−n1) ・・(1−2)
α=2πr/λ ・・(1−3)
ただし、Qsc:散乱効率係数;r:球体半径;n1:媒体の屈折率;

As such a conventional light diffusion plate, a light scattering film such as a resin film whose surface has been processed into a mat shape by physical processing or chemical dissolution treatment, or a resin film including a diffusion material inside is used. It has been.
[0004]
However, although the conventional light scattering film has a light diffusing function, it is structurally impossible to control even the color of the diffused light and does not actually have such a function.
[0005]
Therefore, if the mat surface is made finer or the internal diffuser is made smaller in order to widen the diffusion range (viewing area), blue light (light with a short wavelength) is explained as explained by the light scattering phenomenon. ) Is scattered more (wider) than red light (light having a long wavelength), and as a result, the diffused light appears to be colored yellow.
[0006]
Or recently, unlike the light scattering film, a resin sheet having an optical function such as a lenticular lens, a Fresnel lens, or a prism array has been used as the light diffusing plate.
[0007]
In such an optical function sheet, since the light refraction phenomenon is used, coloring does not occur as in the light scattering film, but the structure requires a certain thickness. There is a problem that the weight increases.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The main object of the present invention is to select both light components in a specific wavelength region in each layer when incident light consisting of white light passes through each layer of the light diffusing plate while being in a thin film-like form. It is an object of the present invention to provide a light diffusing plate that has never been reported so far, in which any light component can diffuse light with a good color balance.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention takes the following measures.
[0026]
That is, the invention of
[0027]
Therefore, in the light diffusing plate according to the first aspect of the present invention, light in a specific wavelength region can be diffused in each region even in the same layer. In addition, the diffusion efficiency can be controlled by overlapping a plurality of such layers.
[0030]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0031]
(First embodiment)
A first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
[0032]
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an example of the outer shape of the light diffusing plate according to the first embodiment, and FIG. 2 is an example of a cross-sectional view of the light diffusing plate according to the embodiment.
[0033]
That is, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
[0034]
In general, light scattering or diffusion is mainly caused by physical phenomena of refraction, reflection and diffraction. These mean that the light appears to spread in different directions from the diffusion surface after reaching the diffusion surface.
[0035]
It is well known that the diffusion characteristic or scattering characteristic of the incident light L passing through the medium is related to the particle size (size) of the
[0036]
1) The scattering of light by a small object compared to the scattering wavelength by very small particles is known as Rayleigh scattering. The Rayleigh equation (Levi Leo, Applied Optics: A Guide To Optical System Design / Volume 2 (John Wiley and Sons, 1980), Chapter 12, Appendix 12.1) shows that the dependence of the intensity of the scattered radiation on the wavelength is 4 It is shown to be inversely proportional to the power. Therefore, the scattering of the light obtained with the
[0037]
2) Scattering by very large particles On the other hand, the scattering of light by particles whose size (size) is close to or larger than the wavelength is revealed by the formula given by Mie in 1908 (Born and Wolf, Principles of Physics, (Pergamon Press LTD.), 1970).
[0038]
In Mie's equation, the calculations are done taking into account diffraction by a single sphere, but if the spheres are all the same diameter and configuration, the spheres are randomly distributed and separated by a long distance compared to the wavelength. The calculation can be applied to diffraction by any number of spheres. If the particle size (size) of the particles is much larger than the wavelength of light, refraction occurs regardless of the wavelength.
[0039]
3) Scattered light is very rare when the scattering particles by particles whose particle size (size) is close to the wavelength have a particle size (size) close to the wavelength of the light. A large distribution of particles having the same particle size (size) can produce a full range of transmitted colors. In other words, the scattering process can be selectively performed for a certain wavelength.
[0040]
Thus, by arranging the
[0041]
As explained above, it is not easy to obtain a calculated solution for the scattering pattern. Nevertheless, using the calculations performed by Mie and the simplified formula developed by Vande Hulst (see HC van de Hulst, Light Scattering by Small Particles, Wiely, New York, 1957), The parameters desired for the

α = 2πr / λ (1-3)
Where Qsc: scattering efficiency coefficient; r: sphere radius; n1: refractive index of the medium;
n2: Refractive index of particle; λ: wavelength.
[0042]
It should be noted that the equations (1-1) to (1-3) shown above are developed from optical principles when absorption is not required. Further, the following assumption is made, that is, n2−n1 is close to 0, and the particle radius is larger than the wavelength. Taking a simple example formed by three
