本発明は、葉書に関するものであり、特に、年賀状用葉書やお年玉付きの官製年賀葉書に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、「当たり」、「はずれ」等の文字や図柄などの表示イメージが印刷された上面に、金色や銀色等のスクラッチ箔等からなるスクラッチ層を形成して表示イメージを隠して外部から確認できないようにしたスクラッチゲーム付きカードが使用されている。

このようなスクラッチゲーム付きカードにおいては、主に多数のスクラッチ箔が形成されており、その中から使用者に選択させてその選択したスクラッチ箔をコインなどによって削り落として下側の表示イメージを露出させ、表示イメージを確認することによってゲームを行うものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、そのようなスクラッチゲーム付きカードにおいては、主に商品の宣伝用や、景品を当選させるための商業用のカードであった。

また、近年、写真付き年賀状等、ありきたりな書状用紙としての本来の機能に付加的な要素を加えて、送付者をより印象付けようとする傾向が強くなってきている。

さらに、仮に、年賀状等の葉書にスクラッチ機能を付加しようとした場合に、葉書にスクラッチ層を形成すると、スクラッチ層をスクラッチ動作、つまり、削り動作により剥離させた場合に綺麗に剥離することができないという問題があった。つまり、葉書は、通常、ケント紙や上質紙等の粗面紙で形成されているために、葉書の表面が毛羽立っている状態となっている。そのような紙材から形成された葉書用紙に所定の印刷を施した後に、スクラッチ層を形成したものにおいて、スクラッチ層を削って剥がそうとすると、印刷面も同時に削ってしまい、該スクラッチ層に被覆された部分が見えづらく、また、汚れた感じになってしまい、スクラッチ機能を設けることによる面白さが軽減してしまうという問題があった。特に、該スクラッチ層を印刷（例えば、スクリーン印刷、凹版印刷、オフセット印刷）により形成した場合には、印刷用のインクが、葉書を構成する紙材にしみこんでしまい剥離が困難になるという問題があった。

そこで、本発明は、書状用紙としての機能に高い娯楽性を有するゲーム機能を付加することができ、大幅に付加価値を高めることが可能な書状用紙、特に、葉書を提供するとともに、葉書にスクラッチ機能を付加した場合に、スクラッチ動作によりスクラッチ層により被覆された印刷面が見えづらく汚れた感じになるのを防止することができる葉書を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記問題点を解決するために創作されたものであって、第１には、スクラッチ機能を有する葉書の製造方法であって、葉書に所定の表示情報を印刷することにより表示情報表示部を形成する印刷工程と、該印刷工程で形成された表示情報表示部の少なくとも一部の上面に、透明性を有する第１被覆層を、アクリル系樹脂とアミノ系樹脂とが混合した素材により形成された透明な箔により形成する第１被覆層形成工程と、該第１被覆層の上面に、第２被覆層を形成する第２被覆層形成工程であって、該第１被覆層で被覆された表示情報を外部から視認できないようにするための第２被覆層であって、削り動作により第１被覆層から除去可能な第２被覆層を、芳香族炭化水素系溶剤と顔料と合成ゴム系樹脂とを有するスクリーン印刷用インキにより形成する第２被覆層形成工程と、を有し、上記第１被覆層と上記葉書との間の固着強度が、上記第１被覆層と第２被覆層との間の固着強度よりも大きいように、上記第１被覆層と上記第２被覆層とを形成することを特徴とする。

よって、製造された葉書においては、透明性を有する第１被覆層と、該第１被覆層の上面に形成された第２被覆層が設けられているので、この第２被覆層により表示情報が隠蔽されている。そして、第２被覆層を削り動作により削ることにより、透明性を有する第１被覆層を通して、被覆された表示情報を視認することができる。

特に、葉書の表示情報が形成されている面は第１被覆層により被覆されているので、削り動作により葉書の表示情報の表示領域を削ってしまうことがなく、ユーザは表示情報を正確に視認することができる。また、第２被覆層が第１被覆層を介して隔離されているので、表示情報を隠蔽する第２被覆層をインキにより形成したとしても該インキがしみ込むことがなく、表示情報を正確に視認することが可能となる。また、第１被覆層をインキにより形成する場合にはインキが葉書にしみ込んでしまう可能性があるが、第１被覆層が箔により形成されているので、そのようなおそれがなく、表示情報の形成面を汚すことがなく、正確に表示情報を視認することが可能となる。また、第１被覆層が透明であるので、正確に表示情報を視認することが可能となる。また、第１被覆層と上記葉書との間の固着強度が、上記第１被覆層と第２被覆層との間の固着強度よりも大きいので、第２被覆層に対して削り動作を行った場合に、第２被覆層のみを削って、第１被覆層を葉書に残存させるようにすることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の形態としての実施例を図面を利用して説明する。本発明に基づく第１実施例を説明する。本発明に基づくスクラッチ機能を有する葉書としてのスクラッチ葉書（以下では単に「葉書」とする）１は、年賀状用葉書、つまり、年賀状に用いる葉書である。この葉書１は、特に、お年玉付きの官製年賀葉書であることが好ましい。

葉書１は、図１に示されるように、シート状部材からなる葉書本体部（葉書）１ａを有し、その表面側には図示略の所定の宛名書きスペースが設けられているとともに、裏面側に印刷によってゲーム部１０が形成されている。このゲーム部１０が上記表示情報表示部に当たる。

上記ゲーム部１０は、いわゆる「迷路タイプ」のゲームを構成すべく、ゲームの内容や方法を記載したゲーム内容イメージが印刷によって形成されており、スタート２０からゴール３０まで複雑な経路に迷路４０が形成されている。このゲーム部１０はゲーム機能を有しているといえる。この迷路４０の表示内容が、「複数の選択可能な経路を示すイメージ情報」に当たる。さらに、ゲーム部１０においては、スクラッチ部５０により隠蔽されている領域にも、所定の情報が印刷されている。つまり、スクラッチ部５０により隠蔽されている領域には、被印刷部５２が印刷により形成されている。つまり、迷路４０の分岐部等に、被印刷部５２が設けられている。つまり、ゲーム部１０には、複数の被印刷部５２が葉書本体部１ａに印刷することにより設けられていて、この各被印刷部５２は、「前へ進め」、「行き止まり」の２種類の内容のうちのいずれかの内容を表示するものであり、その配置はランダムに決定されている。この被印刷部５２が、上記「該イメージ情報における経路の途中に設けられた隠蔽情報」に当たる。

なお、透明箔層５０ａと葉書本体部１ａ間の接着強度（固着強度としてもよい）が、透明箔層５０ａとスクラッチ層５０ｂ間の接着強度（固着強度としてもよい）よりも大きいようにすることが好ましい。つまり、スクラッチ部５０に対してスクラッチ動作を行った場合に、スクラッチ層５０ｂが削り落とされて、透明箔層５０ａが葉書側に残っているようにするために、接着強度をそのようにすることが好ましい。

次に、上記構成の葉書１の製造方法について図３等を使用して説明する。まず、裏面が印刷されていない状態の葉書を用意する。つまり、ゲーム部１０やスクラッチ部５０が設けられていない状態の葉書を用意する。つまり、その場合の葉書は、上記葉書本体部１ａに相当するといえる。

また、樹脂層Ｔｃは、離型剤層Ｔｂの一方の面、つまり、離型剤層Ｔｂのフィルム層Ｔａ側とは反対の面に積層して形成されていて、アクリル系樹脂とアミノ系樹脂とが混合した素材であって、透明な素材（又は少なくとも透明性のある素材）により形成されている。また、この樹脂層Ｔｃを構成する素材には、繊維素を混入するようにしてもよい。この樹脂層Ｔｃが透明箔層として機能する部分である。

また、接着剤層Ｔｄは、樹脂層Ｔｃの一方の面、つまり、樹脂層Ｔｃの離型剤層Ｔｂ側とは反対の面に積層されていて、エチレン酢酸ビニル樹脂とアクリル系樹脂とから構成されている。つまり、この接着剤層Ｔｄを構成する素材は、エチレン酢酸ビニル樹脂とアクリル系樹脂とを混合したものである。なお、接着剤層Ｔｄを、ポリウレタン系樹脂とアクリル系樹脂と酢酸ビニル系樹脂と繊維素とを混合した素材により構成してもよい。

つまり、上記ステップＳ１１における透明箔層５０ａの形成に際しては、上記転写テープＴにおける接着剤層Ｔｄ側を葉書本体部１ａ側にして、凸部Ｎ１を有する熱加圧部材Ｎにより加圧を行なう。この場合、凸部Ｎ１は、平面視においては、形成される透明箔層の平面視における形状・大きさと同じ形状・大きさに形成されているといえる。なお、該熱加圧部材Ｎにおける少なくとも凸部Ｎ１は、加熱されている。

次に、上記構成の葉書１の使用状態について説明する。まず、スタート２０から任意に上記迷路４０を選択して進行し、上記スクラッチ部５０に突き当たったら、そのスクラッチ部５０をコイン等により引っ掻く等の削り動作を行なう。この削り動作がスクラッチ動作に当たる。すると、スクラッチ部５０におけるスクラッチ層５０ｂのみが削られて、透明箔層５０ａは葉書１の葉書本体部１ａに残存する。

よって、ユーザは透明箔層５０ａを介して被印刷部５２を視認でき、上記被印刷部５２の表示イメージが確認可能となる。なお、被印刷部５２は透明箔層５０ａにより被覆されているので、削り動作により被印刷部５２を削ってしまうことがなく、ユーザは被印刷部５２の表示イメージを正確に確認することができる。さらに、上記のように、インキから構成されるスクラッチ層５０ｂは、被印刷部５２からは透明箔層５０ａを介して隔離されているので、被印刷部５２にインキがしみ込むことはなく、この点によっても、ユーザは、被印刷部５２の表示イメージを正確に確認することができる。特に、葉書１の葉書本体部１ａがケント紙や上質紙等の粗面紙で構成されていても、表示イメージを正確に視認することができる。
