【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、ペット用尿捕捉用品、特に、室内飼育を主とした、老犬やしつけのできていない幼犬等に対するペットの体に装着するペット用尿捕捉用品に関する。具体的には、おむつをサポートするために、ペットの尿道口の部分とその近傍を覆うようにして取り付けられて、尿等の排泄物を処理するペット用尿捕捉用品に関する。

【従来の技術】
犬や猫は古くから人間のペットとして飼われているが、最近ではマンション等の庭の無い高層住宅が増えた影響もあり、これらのペットを室内にて飼うことが多くなっている。室内にてペットを飼う場合に、飼い主が最も苦労するのはペットに大・小便のしつけをすることであり、成犬になれば訓練ができるが、生まれてから間もない子犬や一歳未満の幼犬の場合にはしつけが難しいという問題があった。また、成犬でも老衰や事故などにより大・小便を飼い主に依存しなければならなくなることがあり、そのような場合には、飼い主の手が及ばないところで粗相して飼い主の住居を大・小便で汚すことになる。

このような実情に鑑みて各種のペット用紙おむつが市販されているが、これらのペット用紙おむつとしては、例えば、特許文献１に開示されているように液透過性の不織布などからなるトップシートと、液不透過性プラスチックフィルムなどからなるバックシートと、これらのトップシート及びバックシートでサンドイッチされトップシートを透過した液体を吸収する吸収体とが配置されたもので、ペットの尻尾に対応する位置には、所定の形状及び大きさの開口部が貫設され、そこからペットの尻尾を外部に出すようになっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、この種のおむつは人間用のおむつを基本にした構造のため、おむつの長さが胴部に対して短いという構造になっている。ところが、犬の体型はばらばらであり、特にミニチュアダックスフンドなどの短足・胴長犬種については、市販されているおむつでは、とりわけ雄犬の場合、おむつの長さが短いため尿道口をおむつの中に隠すことができない。また、隠すことができたとしても長時間の装着によりずれてしまい、雄犬の尿道口がおむつの外に露出してしまうことがある。

このため、おむつを装着していても雄犬の尿道口はおむつに隠れずに露出していることになるので、おむつでは尿等の排泄物の処理ができず、飼い主の手が及ばないところで粗相して飼い主の住居を尿等の排泄物で汚すという問題があった。

本発明は、このような従来の技術に存在する問題点に着目してなされたものである。その目的とするところは、尿等を確実に捕捉可能なペット用尿捕捉用品を提供することにある。また、おむつを装着してもペットの尿道口が隠れない場合や容易に位置ずれ（特にずり落ち）を起こして尿道口がおむつから露出した場合でも、尿等の排泄物を吸収し、粗相を防止するに好適なペット用尿捕捉用品を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
以上のような課題を解決するために、本発明においては、おむつをサポートするために、腹巻き状の尿捕捉用品をペットの尿道口およびその周囲を覆うようにして装着させることにより尿等の排泄物の粗相を防止できることを見出して本発明を完成させた。

より具体的には、本発明においては以下のようなものを提供する。

（１）尻部全体を覆うことなく、ペットの尿道口およびその近傍を覆うようにして取り付けられ、着用状態で前記尿道口に当設可能な領域に尿を捕捉する機能を備えているペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、ペットが放尿した尿は、ペットの尿道口およびその近傍を覆っている液体吸収領域で吸収されて外に漏れることがない。

（２）前記尿捕捉用品は、前記ペットの胴部に巻きつけた状態で着用されるものであることを特徴とする（１）に記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、ペット用尿捕捉用品は、ペットに対する取り付けや取り外しが容易で装着し易い。また、固定もペットの背中近傍でできるので、作業が容易であって、ずれ難い。尚、胴部とは、ペットの背中部と腹部とからなる胴体部分を意味する。

（３）前記尿捕捉用品は、前記ペットの胴部に巻きつけられる基体と、該基体に設けられた液体吸収性領域と、前記基体をペットに固定する固定手段と、を備え、前記液体吸収性領域が前記ペットの尿道口を覆うように取り付けられるものであることを特徴とする（１）または（２）に記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、ペットが放尿した尿が吸収性領域に吸収されて外に漏れることがない。また、ペッド用尿捕捉用品はペットの尿道口およびその近傍を隠すようにして胴部に巻かれて、固定手段で止着して固定されているので、確実にペットの尿道口は隠される、また、ペットが動き回ってもずれるおそれがないため、確実に尿を吸収できる。

（４）前記基体は、前記液体吸収性領域の一面側を覆うように配設される液透過性を有するシート状のトップシートと、前記液体吸収性領域の他面側を覆うように配設される液不透過性を有するシート状のバックシートとからなるものであることを特徴とする（１）から（３）いずれか記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、ペットの尿道口を隠すようにして腹巻きのように胴部に巻いた際に、ペットの身体面はトップシートと当設するため、尿等の排泄物を吸収した後の液体吸収性領域には直接に接しないことになり、サラットした感触を呈し、不快感を低減させる。

また、液体吸収性領域の外面は液不透過性を有するシート状のバックシートで覆われているので、液体吸収性領域で吸収された尿が外部に漏れるのを防止されることになる。また、バックシートを透湿性素材とすることにより、装着時のムレを低減させることができ、装着時における不快感を低減させることが可能となる。

（５）前記液体吸収性領域は、シート状の吸収体で構成されるものであることを特徴とする（１）から（４）いずれか記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、液体吸収性領域は、嵩高であり、型崩れし難く、また、形状や構造を任意に変えることが可能で加工性に優れる。材質としては、一般にはパルプ、化学パルプ、レーヨン、アセテート、天然コットン、高分子吸収体、繊維状高分子吸収体、合成繊維等が挙げられ、これらを単独又は複数混合した物が使用できる。

（６）前記基体の長手方向側縁近傍には、該側縁に沿って立体状の防漏ギャザーを備えることを特徴とする（１）から（５）いずれか記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、立体状の防漏ギャザーでペットの尿等の排泄物の漏れをより一層防ぐことができる。また、この尿捕捉用品を雄犬等に適用した場合、防漏ギャザーがペットの陰部に引っ掛かるので、ペット用尿捕捉用品のずれが防止される。

（７）前記固定手段は、その長手方向が、前記基体の幅方向側縁近傍で該側縁に沿って着設されるものであることを特徴とする（１）から（６）いずれか記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、ペット用尿捕捉用品をペットの胴部に巻いて固定する場合には、この固定手段をもう一方の側縁近傍の重なり合ったトップシート面またはバックシート面に止着するだけで、ペット用尿捕捉用品をペットに固定できる。尚、この固定手段としては粘着剤による係合でも、メカニカル係止等による係合であってもかまわない。一般的にはペット用尿捕捉用品の内面（トップシート）は不織布であるので、この不織布に対応したメカニカル係止のフック部材を取り付けるだけでも十分である。

ここで、メカニカル係止とは、フック部材が鉤型係合素子を植え付けた係合片やマッシュルーム型係合素子を植え付けた係合片といった雄側係合片とし、この雄側係合片の雌側係合片をループ部材として、フック部材をループに噛み合わせて係止することを意味する。

（８）前記固定手段は、その長手方向が、前記基体の幅方向側縁近傍で該基体の長手方向に沿って着設されるものであることを特徴とする（１）から（６）いずれか記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、ペット用尿捕捉用品の長さが、ペットの胴部の寸法に比べ短くても、固定手段が基体の長手方向に沿ってペット用尿捕捉用品の長手方向側縁から外側に伸延している分長くして固定することができるため、胴部の異なるペットに対する適用範囲が広がる。

（９）前記固定手段は、その長手方向が、少なくとも２つ折り以上に折り畳まれたものであることを特徴とする（８）に記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、固定手段の長さが長いものであっても、コンパクトに基体に取り付けることができる。また、固定手段の折り畳みを広げることにより、前述したペット用尿捕捉用品の長さが、ペットの胴部の寸法に比べ短くても固定できる範囲が広がり、胴部が異なるペットに対する適用範囲が広がり、より好ましい。

（１０）前記固定手段は、伸縮する材料で構成されたものであることを特徴とする（８）に記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、固定手段の長さが短くてすみ、コンパクトに基体に取り付けることができる。また、固定手段を伸張することにより、固定手段の長さを調整できるので、前述したようにペット用尿捕捉用品の長さが、ペットの胴部の寸法に比べ短くても固定できる範囲が広がり、胴部が異なるペットに対する適用範囲が広がり、より好ましい。

（１１）前記基体の前記固定手段が着設されている側とは別の側縁近傍には、前記固定手段に対応する被接着部を備えることを特徴とする（２）から（１０）いずれか記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、被接着部の面積を増やせば増やすほど、１サイズでの装着範囲を広げることができ、より多くのペットに対応できる。尚、被接着部としては、固定手段によって、適宜選定される。例えば、固定手段がメカニカル係止のフック部材であって鉤型係合素子を植え付けた係合片やマッシュルーム型係合素子を植え付けた係合片といった雄側係合片である場合の被接着部としては、ループ型係合片や嵩高い不織布といった雌側係合片等の被接着部材が適用される。

（１２）前記固定手段はメカニカル係止部材であり、前記被接着部はループ素材または前記メカニカル係止部材との係合力を有する不織布からなる被接着部材であることを特徴とする（１１）に記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、メカニカル係止部材に対応する被接着部材によって所定の係合固定力を得ることができる。また、ペット用尿捕捉用品が不織布を構成部材とする場合に、この不織布が被接着部材の役割を果たすことになり、改めて被接着部材を取り付ける必要がなく、より一層好ましい。

（１３）前記尿捕捉用品は、ペットの尻部に装着されるおむつと併用して用いられるものであることを特徴とする（１）から（１２）いずれか記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、おむつと併用することで尿等に排泄物の漏れをより完全に防止できる。すなわち、生まれて間もない等でしつけが難しい、あるいは、老衰や事故などにより大・小便を飼い主に依存しなければならなくなったペットに対しては、大・小便の粗相を防ぐため、おむつを着用させるが、ペットの体型はばらばらで、特に胴長なペットの場合などは、おむつだけで陰部を隠すことができず、小便の粗相は防止できないことになるが、ペットの陰部を隠すペット用尿捕捉用品を併用することで漏れを防止できる。また、おむつでペットの陰部を隠せたとしても、長時間の着用でおむつがずれて、陰部を露出するおそれがあるが、本発明のペット用尿捕捉用品は別途ペットの胴部に固定されており、おむつがずれても陰部が露出しないので、漏れを防止できる。

尚、おむつとは、液透過性のトップシートと液不透過性のバックシートと、これらシートに内包される体液を吸収する吸収体とからなり、ペットの尻部に装着されるものをいう。

（１４）前記尿捕捉用品は、前記おむつに取り付けられるものであることを特徴とする（１）から（１３）いずれか記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、尿捕捉用品は、ミニチュアダックスフンド等の胴長で、肛門部と尿道口が離れたペットの場合のようにおむつだけで両方を覆うことができなくても、おむつの外側に取り付けられた本発明のペット用尿捕捉用品で尿等を吸収でき漏れが防止される。

（１５）前記基体の長手方向の側縁には、ペットの尻部に装着されるおむつと係合するための係合手段を少なくとも１個以上備えることを特徴とする（１３）または（１４）に記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、おむつと容易に係合することができる。これにより、おむつとペット用尿捕捉用品との双方のずれを防ぐことができる。また、体長の短いペット等の場合には、ペット用尿捕捉用品を覆う形でおむつが装着されるので、更に尿等の排泄物の漏れ防止効果が期待できる。

（１６）前記係合手段は、メカニカル係合部材であって、前記基体の長手方向の一側縁に、前記基体の幅方向外方に伸延して着設されるものであることを特徴とする（１５）に記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、係合手段は、おむつを併用した場合に、ペット用尿捕捉用品はおむつに隣接することになり、この係合手段のメカニカル係合部材で容易に係合することができる。また、係合手段のメカニカル係合部材はおむつのトップシートやバックシートを構成する不織布と係合できるので、改めておむつに被接着部材を取り付ける必要がない。このため、被接着部材を取り付ける作業が不要で、コストを低減できる。

（１７）前記尿捕捉用品は、雄ペットに対して装着されるものであることを特徴とする（１）から（１６）いずれか記載のペット用尿捕捉用品を提供する。

本発明によれば、雄ペットは肛門部と尿道口とが離れて存在するのが一般的であるので、おむつだけでは肛門部と尿道部の両方を覆うことができない場合が多いところ、本発明のペット用尿捕捉用品を有利に適用できる。

【発明を実施するための形態】
以下本発明の実施形態について、図を参照しつつ説明するが、本発明はこれに限定されるものでない。

図１は本発明に係るペット用尿捕捉用品の第１の実施形態の構成説明図であり、図１（ａ）は平面図、図１（ｂ）は図１（ａ）におけるＸ−Ｘ'線の断面を示す断面図である。図２はペット用尿補足用品の使用状態を説明する図、図３はおむつと併用した場合のペット用尿補足用品の使用状態を説明する図である。これらの図において、符番１００で示されるペット用尿捕捉用品は、基体１０１と液体吸収性領域１０４とからなり、平面状態では略矩形形状を呈している。液体吸収性領域１０４は尿等の液体を吸収するシート状の吸収体１０４ａを備えており、基体１０１は吸収体１０４ａの一面側を覆うように配設された液透過性を有するシート状のトップシート１０２（身体側面のシート）と、吸収体１０４ａの他面側を覆うように配設された液不透過性を有するシート状のバックシート１０３（反身体側面のシート）とから構成されている。そして、ペット用尿捕捉用品１００は、ペッドの胴体に腹巻状に巻かれて装着可能である。

上記液体吸収性領域１０４を構成する吸収体１０４ａは尿等の排泄物の液体を吸収して保持する機能を有するもので、嵩高であり、型崩れし難く、化学的刺激が少ないものであることが好ましい。一般にはパルプ、化学パルプ、レーヨン、アセテート、天然コットン、高分子吸収体、繊維状高分子吸収体、合成繊維を単独又はこれらを混合した物が使用できる。吸収体１０４ａの形状および構造は、必要に応じて変えることができるが、吸収体１０４ａの全吸収量は、ペット用尿捕捉用品としての設計挿入量および所望の用途に対応させる必要がある。また、吸収体１０４ａのサイズ・吸収能力等は、子犬から成犬までの着用対象のペットに対応して変動される。

上記基体１０１を構成するトップシート１０２は、液親水性であり、肌に刺激を与えない材料が使用される。このようなものとしては、メルトブローン、スパンボンド、スルーエアー、ポイントボンド、ニードルパンチ、湿式、湿式スパンレース、フォームフィルム等の製造方法から得られる不織布を単独又はこれらを複合した材料が挙げられる。また、繊維状シートとしては、レーヨン、アセテート、コットン、パルプ又は合成樹脂を成分としたものを単独又は芯鞘構造を成すように複合したものを単独又は混合した繊維をシート化したものが挙げられる。

また、上記基体１０１を構成するバックシート１０３は、吸収体１０４ａに吸収された排泄物が外へ漏れ出すのを防止できるものを使用することができる。また、透湿性素材とすることにより、装着時のムレを低減させることができ、装着時における不快感を低減させることが可能となる。このような材料としては、例えば、合成樹脂を膜化したシート状フィルム、無機フィラーを充填させて延伸処理を施すことにより得られる通気フィルム、紙、不織布とフィルムを複合したラミネート物、１０〜３０％の開孔を有し孔径が０．１〜０．６ｍｍの範囲で毛細管を吸収性体側に向かうように配置することにより得られる通気性液遮断シート等を使用することができる。

ペット用尿捕捉用品１００の他方側縁の近傍には、ペット用尿捕捉用品１００をペットの胴部に取り付けるための固定手段１０５が設けてある。また基体１０１のトップシート１０２側の面には、互いに一定距離を隔てて配設されて尿の横（図中のＨ−Ｈ'方向）漏れを防ぐ襞状の防漏ギャザー１０６ａ，１０６ｂが設けてある。この防漏ギャザー１０６ａ，１０６ｂの長手方向に沿って、防漏ギャザー１０６ａ，１０６ｂに伸縮性を付与する弾性体１０７ａ，１０７ｂが設けてある。

固定手段１０５は合成樹脂材等からなる帯状体で、表面にはメカニカル係合手段であるフック部材を有するものであって、基体１０１のトップシート１０２側で、一方の側縁近傍に、側縁に沿って幅方向（図中のＨ−Ｈ'方向）に着設されている。このフック部材としては、鉤型係合素子を植え付けた係合片やマッシュルーム型係合素子を植え付けた係合片といった雄側係合片からなる。尚、固定手段１０５としては、このメカニカル係合手段に限定されるものではなく、例えば、粘着剤等の接着剤を塗布したものであってもよい。この場合には、粘着剤の表面には、粘着剤を保護するための離係処理紙が貼着される。

防漏ギャザー１０６ａ，１０６ｂの上端縁には、伸長した状態で弾性体１０７ａ，１０７ｂが配設されており、弾性体１０７ａ，１０７ｂが収縮することで防漏ギャザー１０６ａ，１０６ｂが立体状に立ち上げられる。この防漏ギャザー１０６ａ，１０６ｂでペットの陰部を挟み込むことで、尿道口やその周囲が覆われて、尿等の漏れを防止できる。更に、この防漏ギャザー１０６ａ，１０６ｂがペットの陰部に引っ掛かり、ペット用尿捕捉用品１００がずれるのを防止している。

次に、図１と図２および図３を用いて本発明に係るペット用尿捕捉用品の具体的な使用例について詳しく説明する。先ず、ペット用尿捕捉用品１００を持ち、ペット用尿捕捉用品１００の液体吸収性領域１０４のほぼ中間部分で室内犬（例えばミニチュアダックスフンド犬）２００の陰部が防漏ギャザー１０６ａ，１０６ｂで挟まれるようにして腹部２０２に当設し、次いで、室内犬（ミニチュアダックスフンド犬）２００の背中部２０１でペット用尿捕捉用品１００の側縁同士を重ね合わせるようにして、胴部に腹巻状に巻かれる。この際、固定手段１０５を着設した面が下側になるようにして重ね合わせる。次いで、固定手段１０５をペット用尿捕捉用品１００の側縁近傍に係合してペット用尿捕捉用品１００を固定する。

このようにして、室内犬（ミニチュアダックスフンド犬）２００に、本発明の第１の実施例のペット用尿捕捉用品１００が図２に示す如く装着される。また、かかるペット用尿補足用品１００を室内犬（ミニチュアダックスフンド犬）２００からはずす場合には、上述の装着動作と逆の手順で室内犬（ミニチュアダックスフンド犬）２００からはずされる。

また、ペット用尿捕捉用品１００は、図３に示すように、おむつ３００と併用して用いられることが可能である。すなわち、おむつ３００は、大・小便等を処理するため、また、ペット用尿捕捉用品１００は陰部を隠して尿を処理するために装着される。このように、おむつ３００とペット用尿捕捉用品１００を併用することは、室内犬２００がミニチュアダックスフンド犬といった体長の長いペットに対しては、おむつ３００だけでは尿道口やその周囲を隠すことができないおそれがあるので特に有効である。おむつ３００との接合は、ペット用尿捕捉用品１００の基体１０１に前述の固定手段１０５と同様な接合手段を複数個設けて行うことができる。おむつ３００と接合することで、おむつ３００およびペット用尿捕捉用品１００の双方のずれを防ぐことができる。さらに、体長の短いペッドの場合、ペット用尿捕捉用品１００を覆う形でおむつ３００が装着されるので、一層漏れ防止の効果が期待できる。

図４は本発明に係るペット用尿捕捉用品の第２の実施形態の構成説明図であり、図１に示す実施形態と異なるところは、固定手段１０５の着設する方向である。尚、図中で図１と同一構成部分には同一符号を付し、その重複説明は省略する。

すなわち、固定手段１０５は、第１の実施形態ではペット用尿捕捉用品１００の基体１０１の一方の側縁に沿って幅方向（図中のＨ−Ｈ'方向）に着設されているが、第２の実施形態では、図４に示すように、ペット用尿捕捉用品１００の基体１０１のバックシート１０３面の一方の側縁に、ペット用尿捕捉用品１００の長手方向（図中のＬ−Ｌ'方向）外方に向けて伸延するようにして、複数個着設されている。この固定手段１０５の形状としては、図５（ａ）に示すようにペット用尿捕捉用品１００のバックシート１０２に接合される固定部１０５ａと、ペット用尿捕捉用品１００をペットの胴部に腹巻状に巻いた際に、基体１０１の他方（固定手段１０５が着設されていない側）の側縁近傍でバックシート１０３に止着させるための止着部１０５ｂと、固定部１０５ａと止着部１０５ｂとを連結する中間部１０５ｃとから構成され、固定部１０５ａの裏面は、粘着剤等で基体１０１に着設されている。また、止着部１０５ｂの裏面には基体１０１のバックシート１０３に止着させるためのフック部材が配設されている。そして、この固定手段１０５は、Ｚ型等に折り畳まれ、折り畳まれた時の固定部１０５ａが基体１０１のバックシート１０３の一方の側縁近傍に着設されている。このように、固定手段をＺ型に折り畳んだ形状にすることにより、固定手段の長さが長いものであってもコンパクトに取り付けることが可能となる。また、固定手段１０５を長いものにすることにより、胴部の大きさが異なるペットに対する適用範囲が広がることになり、より一層好ましい。尚、基体１０１のバックシート１０３に止着させるための固定手段としては、止着部１０５ｂの裏面に配設されているフック部材に替えて粘着剤等の接着剤を塗布したものでもよい。

また、固定手段１０５の折り畳み形状は、本実施形態では３つ折りにしてＺ型としているが、２つ折りや４つ折り以上に折り畳んだものであってもよい。また、図５（ｂ）に示すように、固定手段１０５の中間部１０５ｃを例えば、伸縮性不織布等の伸縮性を有する材質のものとして、固定手段１０５の長さを短くして折り畳みを少なくしてもよい。

このように、固定手段１０５を折り畳み型や伸長できるタイプにすることにより、固定手段１０５の長さを調整できるので、胴部の外周の長さが異なるペットに対して適用できる範囲が広がり、好ましい。
