本発明は、電気スタンドや電話台等を机の天板等に固定するためのクランプ機構に関するものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来、この種のクランプ機構としては、例えば実開平6−28931号公報等に記載されているものが知られている。これは、アーム式電気スタンドを机等に固定するための支持具であり、コ字状の支持体の上部に保持体を取り付け、この保持体と対向する支持体の下部に締付金具が取り付けられた螺杆を設けたものであり、螺杆を操作することで締付金具と保持体とで机の縁等を挟持してこの机の縁等に取り付けられ、更に前記保持部に対してアーム式電気スタンド等の支柱を差し込むことで、この支柱を保持するものである。そして、これらのクランプ機構は、邪魔にならないように、机天板等の後縁側に取り付けられることが多い。しかしながら、これらのクランプ機構においては、クランプ機構が邪魔にならないように机天板等の後縁側に取り付けた場合、このクランプ機構の着脱操作が面倒になってしまうという問題があった。これは、クランプ機構の着脱のために操作する螺杆が支持体の下方、即ち机天板等の下方に位置してしまうためである。
