BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle travel support device that obtains a travel locus to a target position and assists vehicle travel so that the vehicle follows the travel locus.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Techniques for performing steering support and automatic steering so that a vehicle follows a predetermined travel locus are known, and automatic travel apparatuses and parking support apparatuses (for example, see Patent Document 1) that employ this technique. It has been known.
[0003]
In the technology of Patent Document 1, when supporting parallel parking, a route (running locus) from the current vehicle position to the target parking position is calculated, and the vehicle is guided along this running locus. In calculating the travel trajectory, the trajectory is calculated by a combination of an arc having a substantially minimum turning radius and an arc having a turning radius based on the steering angle. Thereby, it is determined whether parallel parking is possible from the current position.
[0004]
[Patent Document 1]
JP 2002-52999 A (paragraphs 0022 to 0031, FIG. 6)
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
This technology determines whether or not parallel parking from the initial position to the target position is possible, but if deviation from the trajectory occurs during movement or the target position needs to be corrected, The trajectory after reversing the turning direction uses an arc close to the minimum turning radius, so it is close to the limit trajectory, and there is a possibility that there is no room for correcting and resetting the trajectory. You need to start over.
[0006]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a driving support device that improves the degree of freedom for resetting a target locus that reaches a target position even when the target locus deviates during guidance.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, a travel support device according to the present invention calculates a target travel locus up to a target position, and guides the vehicle along the target travel locus by steering support. A position that is close to the current vehicle position by a predetermined distance Lm in a predetermined direction is set as a temporary target position, a target travel path that passes through this temporary target position is set , and the target steering amount and the actual steering amount are The deviation of the actual travel locus from the target travel locus obtained by integrating the deviation of the travel distance with respect to the travel distance is large enough to require route correction, and the distance r to the target position is longer than the predetermined distance Lm. If it exceeds the predetermined distance L th performs a resetting of a target traveling path in preference to the traveling locus does not pass through the provisional target position traveling locus passing through the temporary target position, distance to the target position r is the case within the long predetermined distance L th than the predetermined distance Lm performs resetting of a target travel trajectory without consideration of the via temporary target position, it is characterized.
[0008]
By setting a point that can reliably reach the target position as the temporary target position, and setting a target travel locus that passes through this temporary target position, it is possible to set a target travel locus that has a margin for trajectory correction. In addition, when resetting, a path that passes through the provisional target position is set with priority, so that when resetting becomes necessary, a route that can be easily reset can be set. Further, in this way, when the distance to the target position is within a predetermined distance, the degree of freedom of the route setting is increased by setting the route without considering the provisional target position. Further, from the time when the target position is approached, the range of the locus to be utilized is expanded to prevent the path from being disabled.
[0009]
The predetermined direction is preferably the front-rear direction of the vehicle body at the target position. If it does in this way, it can reach a target position from a temporary target position by going straight with a rudder angle 0 (steering neutral state). For this reason, even when the temporary target position cannot be passed, the target position can be reached, and the trajectory correction and the target trajectory reset are facilitated.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In order to facilitate the understanding of the description, the same reference numerals are given to the same components in the drawings as much as possible, and duplicate descriptions are omitted.
[0013]
Hereinafter, a parking assistance device will be described as an example of the driving assistance device according to the present invention. FIG. 1 is a block configuration diagram of a

[0019]
Here, the control shown in FIG. 3 is performed until the driver reaches the vicinity of the instructed target parking position after the driver operates the input means 16 to instruct the parking assistance ECU 1 to start the parking assistance control. Until it is determined that the target parking position cannot be reached by one backward movement, the parking assistance ECU 1 executes unless the driver cancels the assistance operation from the input means 16.
[0020]
Specifically, the driver moves the vehicle to the parking assistance start position, that is, the position where the target position is reflected in the image captured by the
[0021]
Parking assistance ECU1 calculates | requires the position of G point by image recognition process (step S4). What is necessary is just to obtain | require the position of this G point as a relative coordinate which makes the present vehicle position A the origin, for example. Conversely, the coordinates of the current vehicle position A may be determined using the position of point G as the origin, the vehicle front-rear direction at point G as the Z-axis, and the left-right direction as the X-axis.
[0022]
Next, the parking assist ECU 1 obtains a point F obtained by moving the target parking position G forward by a predetermined distance Lm (in the positive direction of the Z axis in FIG. 2) (step S6). This point F corresponds to the provisional target position in the present invention.
[0023]
Then, a route (running locus) P1 from the point A to the target parking position G via the point F is calculated (step S8). As shown in FIG. 4, this travel locus is set as a steering angle with respect to the travel distance (turning curvature = reciprocal of turning radius). A typical example of the trajectory set at this time is to first reverse from point A to point B with a steering angle of 0 (turning distance phrase curvature 0), and from that point to point C, steering with constant change speed with respect to travel distance. Increase the angle (turn the rudder), shift to a state where the steering angle and turning curvature are maximum and the turning radius is the minimum turning radius (Rmin), and this steering angle is maintained up to point D. Conversely, the speed of change of the steering angle with respect to the travel distance is kept constant, the steering angle is decreased (the rudder is returned), and the vehicle shifts to a neutral state with a steering angle of 0 at point E. Up to point G, a trajectory that recedes straight at a rudder angle of 0 is calculated. As a result, the distance between the running trajectories AB and EG is a straight line, the distance between CDs is an arc with a radius Rmin, and between BC and DE is a clothoid curve with one end of curvature 1 / Rmin and the other end with a curvature 0.
[0024]
If the starting position A point and the target parking position G point approach and the deflection angle (angle between the vehicle longitudinal axis at the current position and the vehicle longitudinal direction at the target parking position) θ is large, a straight section There may be a case where no arc segment or one clothoid curve segment exists.
[0025]
In this way, by setting the target travel locus as a correspondence between the travel distance and the steering angle, is the locus being moved by the travel distance obtained from the output of the
[0026]
In addition, a path that can reach the target position G point by moving straight forward and backward and that passes through the temporary target position F point located on the side closer to the vehicle position at the start of parking support control is set as the target locus P1. Therefore, even if the actual steering amount deviates from the target value due to a delay in automatic steering, etc., as described below, there is a margin for resetting and the route that can be easily corrected is re-established. Since it can be set as the target trajectory P2 after the setting, the degree of freedom of resetting is increased, and when it deviates from the target route, the route setting becomes impossible, and a situation in which it is necessary to perform switching, etc. And the operability is improved.
[0027]
Next, it is determined whether or not a route has been set (step S10). If it is determined that the route from the current position A to the target position G cannot be set based on conditions such as the vehicle position and vehicle turning characteristics, the process proceeds to step S40. The driver is notified using the
[0028]
When the target route can be set, the process proceeds to step S12, and the process proceeds to actual guidance control. Here, it is preferable that the
[0029]
In the guidance control, first, the current position of the vehicle is determined (step S12). The current position can be determined based on the movement of the feature point in the image captured by the
[0030]
Then, actual steering angle control is performed based on the traveling distance-steering angle setting trajectory previously set based on the current position (traveling distance) (step S14). Specifically, the

Since the movement along the route set in this way is performed, the driver can concentrate on safety confirmation on the route and vehicle speed adjustment. If there are obstacles, pedestrians, etc. on the path, when the driver depresses the
[0032]
After the steering angle control, it is determined whether or not the current position has deviated from the target route. If the deviation is large, it is determined that route correction is required (step S16). The deviation from the target route can be obtained by integrating the deviation between the target steering amount and the actual steering amount with respect to the travel distance. When route correction is required, the process proceeds to step S18 to determine whether or not the length Lr of the remaining travel locus is within a predetermined distance Lth (this Lth is longer than Lm described above, for example, between DGs) Set to distance.) If the length of the remaining travel locus exceeds the predetermined distance Lth, that is, if there is still a distance to the target parking position G point, first, the route from point F to point G is calculated again. (Step S20). Then, it is determined whether or not the route has been calculated (step S22), and only when the route has not been calculated, the route to the point G is calculated without considering the route F (step S24). . In this case, the route to point G is calculated without going through point F. If a route passing through point F can be set, the process proceeds to step S12 as it is, and guidance processing is performed. On the other hand, if the route calculation process to the point G is performed without considering the route F in step S24, the process returns to step S10, the route setting determination process is performed, and the route setting is successful. Return to the guidance process.
[0033]
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S18 that the length of the remaining travel locus is within Lth, the process proceeds to step S24, and the process of calculating the route to point G is performed without considering passing through point F. In this case, the reset route P2 may or may not pass through the point F depending on conditions. Similarly, the process returns to step S10 to perform a route setting determination process. If the route setting is successful, the process returns to the guidance process.
[0034]
As described above, in the present embodiment, when there is a distance to the target parking position G, the route considering the route F that is the provisional target position is preferentially adopted when the route is reset, and the target parking position is set. In the approaching stage, the route is reset without considering the point F, which is the provisional target position, and in the initial stage, it is a provisional target position that makes it easy to reset and correct the route at a later stage. A route P1 passing through a certain point F is set. As a result, even if it is not possible to select a route via the point F which is the provisional target position at the resetting stage, it is possible to reach the point G which is the original target parking position. Compared with the case where the route P0 to the point G is set without considering the route to the point F which is the provisional target position, the route is reset and guidance is performed even when the route is deviated from the target locus. Is likely to be possible, the vehicle can be reliably guided to the target position, and when the vehicle approaches the target parking position, it becomes impossible to set the route and it must be switched back Therefore, the operability of the parking assist device is also improved.
[0035]
On the other hand, when the deviation from the target route is small, the process proceeds to step S26 to determine whether or not the vicinity of the target parking position G point has been reached. If the target parking position has not been reached, the support control is continued by returning to step S12. If it is determined that the vehicle has reached the target parking position, the process proceeds to step S28, the driver is notified that the vehicle has reached the target parking position by the
[0036]
Here, an example of setting a route that does not consider the route to the temporary target position when the difference between the current position of the vehicle and the target parking position is within a predetermined distance has been described, but the temporary target position has not been reached In this case, a route that always passes through the temporary target position may be set with priority. Further, when the number of reset times reaches a predetermined number, a route that does not consider the route to the temporary target position may be selected thereafter. Of course, the route may be reset without considering the route from the initial reset to the provisional target position.
[0037]
In addition, here, a case has been described in which the movement route from the temporary target position to the target parking position is rectilinear advance / retreat, but this route is not limited to rectilinear advance / retreat. For example, it may be an arcuate path that retreats at a predetermined steering angle, or may be a path that takes into account a clothoid curve or other predetermined steering state. However, this route needs not to be a limit route such as a route that moves while maintaining the minimum turning radius.
[0038]
Here, since the parking assistance by the backward movement has been described, the temporary target position is set before the target position. However, when the forward movement is supported, the temporary target position is located behind the target position. In other words, the position to be set is closer to the current vehicle position than the target position.
[0039]
In the above description, the embodiment of the parking assist device having the automatic steering function has been described. However, not only the technology for performing the steering automatically, but also the parking for performing the steering guidance for instructing the appropriate steering amount to the driver. The support device can be used similarly. Further, the present invention is not limited to a parking assistance device, and can be applied to a traveling assistance device that guides movement according to a route, a lane keeping system, and the like.
[0040]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, when setting the route to reach the target position, the position shifted in the direction in which the target position is brought closer to the current vehicle position is set as the temporary target position. Since the route to the target position via is set as the target trajectory, a route with a margin is set instead of a limit route, so the vehicle deviates from the target trajectory during guidance and the route (target trajectory) Even if resetting is necessary, the probability of resetting is improved and the operability is improved.
