Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a sill capable of preventing damage to a base portion of a surface of a collar portion.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a sill 50 shown in FIG. 3 is used as a sill for a house to be used as a crossbar used for a path through which a sliding door, a sliding door, etc. passes. In this sill 50 made of a plastic such as ABS resin, lower portions at both ends are cut out in a cross-sectional view to form a flange portion 51, and an end portion 53 of the floor material 52 is formed by the flange portion 51 and the end surface 54. By fitting into the cut-out portion 55, the floor surface 62 with few steps is formed. The shape of the base portion 57 of the lower surface 56 of the collar portion 51, that is, the portion adjacent to the corner portion 58 at the top end of the end portion 53 of the floor material 52 is substantially a right angle as shown in the figure.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional threshold 50 still has the following problems to be solved.
That is, for example, when the thickness T of the floor material 52 is manufactured to be smaller than the allowable dimension due to the manufacturing accuracy of the thickness T of the floor material 52 and the height H of the notch 55 of the sill 50, the flange 51 A large gap G is generated between the lower surface 56 and the upper surface 59 of the floor material 52 to be fitted. In this state, when the load W acts on the surface 60 of the collar portion 51 by walking or the like in the direction of the arrow, the shape of the base portion 57 of the lower surface 56 of the collar portion 51 is substantially right-angled. The base portion 61 of 60 and the base portion 57 of the lower surface 56 are hardly deformed. As a result, the collar portion 51 acts as a cantilever and is caused by the combined stress of the tensile stress and the shear stress caused by the bending generated by the load W. As a result, cracks occur in the base portion 61 of the surface 60 of the collar portion 51, and as a result of fatigue due to short-term use, there is a problem that the portion is damaged.
[0004]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a sill where the base portion of the surface of the collar portion is not damaged with respect to long-term use.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the sill according to claim 1, which meets the above purpose, a notch portion into which an end portion of a facing floor member having a gap is inserted is formed on both sides in the width direction, and an upper portion of the notch portion is a collar portion. A synthetic resin threshold,
A recess is formed in the base portion of the bottom surface of the collar portion to give flexibility, the height from the bottom surface of the base portion is made larger than the thickness of the floor material , and the collar portion is elastic during walking load. The tip of the collar portion is deformed and contacts the surface of the floor material.
The sill according to claim 2 is the sill according to claim 1, wherein a female fruit or a male fruit that engages with a real part formed at an end part of the floor material is formed on a vertical surface of the notch part. .
[0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings for understanding of the present invention.
Here, FIG. 1 is a sectional structural view of a sill according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an explanatory view showing a state in which a load is applied to a collar portion of the sill.
A sill 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention has a cross-sectional shape as shown in FIG. 1, and the lower ends of both ends are cut out, as in the conventional sill 50, so that the collar part 11 and the notch part 12 are formed. As shown in FIG. 2, the end portion 16 having the thickness T of the floor material 15 is fitted into the notch portion 12 formed by the lower surface 13 and the end surface 14 of the collar portion 11 of the sill body 18. The floor with few steps is formed. Hereinafter, it will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 1 and FIG.
[0007]
The sill body 18 constituting the sill 10 is made of a plastic such as ABS resin, and a passage 20 that is recessed in an inverted trapezoidal shape is formed at an eccentric position of the upper surface 19.
Further, in the cutout portion 12 of the sill body 18, the shape of the track for the athletics is divided into two at the center in the longitudinal direction at the base portion 24 where the lower surface 13 and the end surface 14 of the collar portion 11 intersect. A concave portion having a linear portion length L and radius R, which is called a semi-track shape, is formed, and the height of the base portion 24 from the bottom surface 21 (that is, the floor base 17 surface) is the thickness T of the floor material 15. It is bigger.
When the load W is not applied to the lower surface 13 of the collar portion 11, as shown in FIG. 1, the gap G (= 2R) between the lower surface 13 and the upper surface 28 of the floor material 15 is parallel to the upper surface 19 of the sill body 18. It is said. Furthermore, a female fruit 26 into which a male fruit 25 formed on the end 16 of the floor material 15 is fitted is formed at the lower part of the end surface 14 (the vertical surface of the notch 12). Is fixed. In this embodiment, R = 1.0 mm and L = 0.5 mm.
[0008]
When the floor material 15 is fitted to the sill 10 having such a configuration, as shown in FIG. 2, when a load W acts on the surface 27 of the collar portion 11 by walking or the like in the direction of the arrow, the lower surface of the collar portion 11. Since the base portion 24 has a recess having a semi-track shape, the collar portion 11 is elastically deformed from the vicinity of the recess due to the load W with appropriate flexibility, and is shown in FIG. Thus, the tip of the collar portion 11 comes into contact with the upper surface 28 of the floor material 15.
[0009]
As a result, the collar portion 11 acts as a two-point supported beam that is fixed at one end and free at one end, and part of the load W moves to the floor material 15 side (one end free side). The stress generated at the base portion 24 (one end fixing side) of the lower surface 13 is relieved. Therefore, the flange portion 51 acts as a cantilever beam and the load W is not dispersed as in the conventional case, so that the base portion 61 of the surface 60 of the flange portion 51 is cracked. As a result, it is possible to prevent damage to the root portion 29 of the surface 27 of the collar portion 11. When the action of the load W disappears, the original state, that is, the lower surface 13 of the collar portion 11 becomes substantially parallel to the upper surface 28 of the floor material 15.
[0010]
In the present embodiment, the length L, radius R, and gap G of the semi-track-shaped straight portion of the recess conform to the design specifications such as the material characteristics of the sill body, the size of the collar, the size of the load W, and the usage state. It is determined as appropriate. Moreover, although the cross-sectional shape of the collar portion is a triangular shape in the present embodiment, it can be a rod shape or a trapezoidal shape if there is no problem in use.
In addition, the shape of the concave portion is not limited to the semi-track shape, and for example, a semicircular shape, a semi-elliptical shape, and a shape that avoids stress concentration, such as a triangular shape, a square shape, and the like that are rounded at the corners, It can be set as the shape which can provide moderate softness | flexibility to the base part of a lower surface.
[0011]
In the present embodiment, when the load W does not act, the lower surface of the tip of the collar portion 11 has been described as having a gap with the upper surface 28 of the floor member 15, but the tip may be in contact.
Furthermore, the material of the sill body is not limited to plastic such as ABS resin, and other materials having similar properties can be used.
In the present embodiment, the lower surface of the collar portion and the upper surface of the floor material are substantially horizontal, but can be inclined if there is no problem in fitting.
Moreover, although the female fruit which fits into the male body formed in the edge part of a floor material is formed in the end surface of the notch part of a sill body, a female body and a male body can also be formed in reverse. Moreover, it is also possible not to form the female fruit or the male fruit on the end face of the notch and the end of the floor material. If the gap between the lower surface of the flange portion and the upper surface of the floor material is larger than the predetermined gap due to problems in manufacturing or installation, a liner for adjusting the gap is formed on the lower surface of the flange portion or the upper surface of the floor material. Can be installed.
[0012]
【The invention's effect】
In the sill according to claim 1, a recess is formed in a base portion of the lower surface of the collar portion above the notch portion into which the end portion of the floor material facing with a gap is inserted to provide flexibility. At the same time, the height from the bottom surface of the base portion is made larger than the thickness of the floor material. Therefore, when a load is applied by walking or the like, the collar portion is elastically deformed, and the tip of the collar portion contacts the surface of the floor material. Therefore, the collar portion acts as a two-point supported beam that is fixed at one end and free at one end. Therefore, as in the conventional case, since the collar portion acts as a cantilever and there is no load distribution, a crack is generated in the base portion of the surface of the collar portion, and it is said that it is damaged from this place after a short period of use. The problem is solved.
In particular, in the sill according to claim 2, since the female body or the male body that engages with the actual part formed at the end of the floor material is formed on the vertical surface of the notch, the sill body and the floor The fixing work with the material becomes easy, and the setting of the gap between the lower surface of the collar portion and the upper surface of the floor material is simple.
