一般に電線製造工場においては図3に示すような加工ラインがよく用いられている。つまり原料となる線材を送出ボビンから送り出すか、あるいは光ファイバの場合のようにこれを母材から製造して送り出し、その原料線材に何らかの加工を施し、引取装置によってその製品線材を引き取りながら巻取ボビンに巻き取るものである。

この際たとえば巻取ボビンの交換などの場合、冒頭の線材の製造工程を中止できない場合も多く、このときはボビン交換の間、貯留装置によって一時的にそこに製品線材を貯留し、巻取ボビン交換の終了後は引取速度を一旦高めて貯留装置に貯留されている線材を解消巻き取るようになっている。

しかしながらこのような従来の貯留装置の場合は、はじめの作業準備のときに多数のプーリーに線掛けする手間が非常に大変である欠点があり、しかもこの線掛け工程は自動化が困難な不都合もある。

この発明は上述の課題を解決するためになされたものであって、請求項1の発明による解決手段は、円柱状をなし外周につるまき線状の巻付け溝が穿設され、その中心軸線のまわりに回転駆動される貯留ドラムと、前記貯留ドラムの第1番目の巻付け溝の底面に沿って適宜間隔で回転可能に連設される外周ローラと、前記貯留ドラムの軸線と平行に延びる案内ロッド,該案内ロッドに滑動可能に係合し前記巻付け溝に係合案内される溝係合子を備えたブラケット、ならびに該ブラケットに回転自在に担持され前記巻付け溝に対向する位置に設けられる移動ローラから成る巻付け装置とを有し、前記移動ローラははじめに第2番目の巻付け溝に臨む位置に設定されることを特徴とする加工ラインにおける線材の貯留装置である。

図1および図2を参照してこの発明の一実施例を説明する。符号2に示すものは円柱状の貯留ドラムであってその中心軸線のまわりに回転できるように支持固定され、正逆反転可能な駆動モータ6によってプーリー等の適宜の伝動要素を介して回転される。
