Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fishing rod having a floating guide on the outside.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Ingenuity to hold the floating guide at a predetermined position of the fishing rod with high reliability and prevent inadvertent rotation is disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication Nos. 58-2222, 64-26967, and 2-135037. Etc. are disclosed. The first publication discloses a structure in which longitudinal protrusions are provided on the surface of a pipe made of metal or synthetic resin as a guide holding part. In the second publication, a non-circular cross section is configured by a low elastic resin. And in the 3rd gazette, the structure which comprised the unevenness | corrugation with the fiber woven fabric is disclosed. As seen in each of these publications, the guide holding portion is provided with irregularities in the circumferential direction so that the idle guide does not rotate.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, with regard to the mobility in the front-rear direction, the third publication tries to prevent inadvertent movement by the unevenness arranged in the longitudinal direction, but the first and second publications rely on simple frictional forces. In addition, during repeated use, the holding portion may be worn and the frictional force may be reduced. When the guide holding portion is made of the metal disclosed in the first publication, the deflection performance of the fishing rod is greatly affected, and the problem of weight increase occurs. Therefore, it is usually desirable that the guide holding portion is made of synthetic resin as a main component. However, the guide holding portion is likely to be worn by repeated use, and as a result, there is a problem that the loose guide is easily removed.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a fishing rod that can withstand repeated use and hold the floating guide.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In view of the above object, in claim 1 of the present invention, a guide holding portion for holding the floating guide is provided on the outer side of the rod, and the guide holding portion has a ridge extending substantially in the longitudinal direction of the rod, The guide base has an engaging portion that engages with the ridge, and the ridge includes a large number of fibers mixed in a matrix resin as a main component, and most of the directional directions of the mixed fibers. Provides a fishing rod having a floating guide characterized by being inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the rod and terminating in the vicinity of the surface of the ridge.
This protrusion includes a case where unevenness is repeated in the circumferential direction and a case of a polygonal cross-sectional shape. The mixed fiber also includes a fiber called a short fiber. Furthermore, the term “terminating near the surface of the ridge” includes not only the case where it protrudes from the surface but also the case where it is buried or flush. Further, the surface portion of the ridge may be formed of a paint layer, and may further have a coating by ion plating.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided the fishing rod having the floating guide according to the first aspect, wherein the mixed fibers are directed substantially in the same amount in two directions that are substantially bilaterally symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal direction of the rod.
[0005]
In Claim 1, since the guide holding part has the protrusion extended | stretched to the longitudinal direction, unintentional rotation of the idle guide can be prevented. Further, since the ridges have a large number of fibers mixed in the matrix resin, they are harder to wear than the case where the ridges are made of only the synthetic resin and are durable. However, in the actual use in which the floating guide is moved rearward and mounted and held on the guide holding portion or moved forward and separated, the synthetic resin on the surface of the ridge is formed by the engaging portion of the floating guide base. However, since most of the many fibers mixed in the matrix resin terminate near the surface of the ridge, at least the synthetic resin on the surface of the ridge is not removed. The end of the fiber is exposed on the trace that has been scraped off by a predetermined amount, and the orientation direction of most of the fibers is inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the ridge, so that the floating guide is likely to come out of the guide holding portion forward. In this case, the exposed fiber ends are caught and prevented from coming off.
[0006]
In claim 2, since the mixed fibers are directed substantially in the same amount in two directions that are substantially bilaterally symmetric, the frictional force is increased to effectively prevent the loosening and the loose guide is in the longitudinal direction of the ridge. Inclination in the left-right direction can be prevented, and stable holding becomes possible.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail based on an embodiment shown in the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 is a side view of a main part of a fishing rod having a floating guide according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged cross-sectional view taken along line BB. Guide holding portion for holding the floating guides 14, 14 ', 14 "at appropriate positions on the outer periphery of the fiber reinforced resin cage 10 made of synthetic resin such as epoxy resin as a matrix and reinforced with carbon fiber or other reinforcing fiber 12, 12 ′, 12 ″ are provided. For example, taking the floating guide 14 as an example, it has a base K for allowing the rod 10 to be inserted and held by the guide holding portion 12, and a guide ring G for inserting the fishing line. The same applies to the other idle guides.
[0008]
Each of the guide holding portions has a tapered portion having a larger outer diameter toward the rear side of the collar, and the base portion K of each floating guide located in front of each guide holding portion is used as the tapered portion. Push to hold. In this holding state, a plurality of protrusions 12 </ b> T extending in the longitudinal direction of the flange are arranged in each guide holding portion so that each floating guide does not rotate. On the inner periphery of the base K, an engagement portion KK having a recess corresponding to the protrusion is provided.
[0009]
FIG. 3 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the main part of the guide holding part 12, in which five layers 12A, 12B, 12C, 12D, and 12E are laminated on the flange 10, and the guide 12T is formed on the guide. It is a holding part. Each of these layers is made of a fiber reinforced resin, like the ridge 10. As a manufacturing method thereof, a prepreg as a base of the collar 10 may be wound on a core metal (not shown), and another prepreg may be wound and molded by heat curing or the like. In addition, the fiber is wound on each layer on the prepreg that is the base of the ridge 10, and then impregnated with a synthetic resin that is the same or different from the prepreg that is the base of the ridge 10, and as a result, the prepreg is wound. These may be configured in the same manner as when rotated, and may be molded by heat curing or the like.
[0010]
The fiber direction of each of the layers 12A, 12B, 12C, 12D, and 12E is directed in an inclined direction with respect to the longitudinal direction of the ridge 10, and the directions are alternately alternated in a direction symmetrical to the longitudinal direction between adjacent layers. It is changing. For example, 45 degrees, -45 degrees, 45 degrees, and so on. The guide holding part 12 having the structure as shown in FIG. 3 is formed by grinding along the longitudinal direction in order to form the protrusions 12T in the five layers. The same applies to the other guide holders.
[0011]
However, the direction of inclination of the fibers does not have to be changed alternately in a direction that is symmetric with respect to the longitudinal direction, and may be asymmetric or only in one direction. Orientation in the symmetric direction is effective in increasing the frictional force and preventing slipping off, and is preferable because the floating guide can be prevented from tilting in the left-right direction with respect to the longitudinal direction of the rod. Further, the guide holding portion may be formed by heating after forming the flange 10 in addition to the case where the guide holder is heated together with the flange 10 as described above. It may be fixed to the ridge by adhesion or the like. The matrix resin of the fiber reinforced resin guide holding portion may be a paint.
[0012]
With respect to the guide holding portion formed as described above, the floating guide is moved backward until the engaging portion KK of the base portion of the floating guide and the protrusion 12T are tightly engaged, and the floating guide is held. In this way, the floating guide is initially tightly engaged and held, but while repeatedly loosening and engaging and holding, the side surface 12S on one side 12S and the side surface 12S on the other side of the ridge 12T are repeated. 'Worn out and loosened. Since the guide holding portion is made of fiber reinforced resin, the matrix resin is more easily worn than the fiber, and thus the worn protrusion 12T is schematically shown in FIG.
[0013]
That is, as can be seen from the above-described manufacturing method, the fibers in each layer are continuous in the circumferential direction before grinding and the fiber end portions are hardly present in each protrusion region, but are continuous in the circumferential direction. The fibers that had been separated were also ground by grinding, and fiber end portions were present in the vicinity of the left and right side surfaces 12S and 12S ′ of each protrusion. Since the surface of the ridge is worn, many fiber end portions are exposed on the surface of the ridge, as shown in FIG.
[0014]
If the upper side of FIG. 4 is the hand side (rear side) of the ridge, the loose guide engaged with the ridge 12T is easily loosened because the ridge is worn and thinned accordingly. Try to move in the direction (forward direction). However, of the fibers protruding to the right side surface 12S of the ridge, for example, the exposed end portion of the fiber S1 oriented in the direction of 45 degrees, and the fiber protruding to the left side surface 12S ′ of the ridge, for example, −45 degrees. With the exposed end portion of the fiber S2 oriented in the direction, a frictional resistance force is exerted on the engaging portion KK of the base portion of the floating guide in the loosening direction of the floating guide, and the loosening prevention action is achieved.
[0015]
Since most of the fibers mixed in the guide holder are oriented in the tilt direction, the bending rigidity is small, and the bending characteristics of the ridge 10 need not be greatly affected.
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a fishing rod that can withstand repeated use and hold the floating guide.
