従来、染毛剤チューブは通常第1剤と第2剤とが、各々別のチューブに収納され、対になってセットとして販売されている。第1剤は塩基性酸化染料が主剤であり、気体および液体を通さない密閉された金属チューブ内に収納され、第2剤は第1剤の染料を酸化重合させる目的を持った、過酸化水素が主剤であり、金属製の外装チューブの内側に、気体を通すが液体を通さない性質を有する合成樹脂製の内装チューブを嵌装した、二重チューブ内に収納されている。このような二重チューブは、前記した染毛剤を収納する他、接着剤を収納するチューブ容器として用いられている。接着剤を収納する容器としてのチューブ容器は、遮光性、バリヤー性等が要求されると共に、接着剤と金属製チューブとの直接の接触を防止するため、金属製の外装チューブの内側に、合成樹脂製の内装チューブが挿入された二重チューブが用いられる。
