BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a hot-fix adhesive for temporary fixing, and more particularly to a hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing for temporarily fixing a workpiece at a predetermined position such as a processing table on which processing such as grinding is performed.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, hot-melt adhesives such as wax and pine yarn have been used to fix a workpiece at a predetermined position on a processing table during machining such as grinding.
However, such hot melt adhesives have a melting point or softening point of about 100 ° C. or higher. For this reason, when a work piece is bonded to a work table and the work piece is removed from the work table after completion of the work, the work piece is heated to 100 ° C. or higher which is the melting point or softening point of the hot melt adhesive. Is necessary, and there is a risk of thermal distortion occurring in the workpiece heated to 100 ° C. or higher.
Further, when the work piece is bonded to the work table by the hot melt adhesive, the work piece is heated to 100 ° C. or more, and the work piece heated to a predetermined temperature is joined to a predetermined position of the work table. Since the hot-melt adhesive that has been melted or softened is cooled and solidified by cooling from above, the processing time including the time for fixing the workpiece to the processing table tends to be long.
[0003]
As described above, a low temperature type hot melt adhesive having a melting point or softening point of about 53 ° C. is also commercially available for a high temperature type hot melt adhesive having a melting point or softening point of 100 ° C. or higher.
However, even with such a low-temperature type hot melt adhesive, it is necessary to heat the workpiece to 53 ° C. or more when applying the hot melt adhesive to the workpiece, thereby causing thermal distortion to the workpiece. There is a fear. In particular, in a workpiece subjected to precision machining, a machining error based on thermal distortion caused by heating to 53 ° C. or higher may be a problem.
In place of such a hot melt adhesive,

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By using the temporary fixing adhesive disclosed in
However, such a temporary fixing adhesive starts to be cured by the addition of a radical polymerization initiator, and is usually in a liquid state, so that its handling is complicated. In addition, since it takes time to complete the curing after adding the radical polymerization initiator, the processing time of the workpiece including the time for fixing the workpiece to a predetermined position on the processing table is still long. Become.
Therefore, an object of the present inventor is to provide a hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing that is easy to handle and can shorten the time for fixing a workpiece to a predetermined position on a processing table.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
As a result of various investigations, the present inventors have found that a hot melt adhesive composed of lauric acid that is solid at room temperature and has a melting point of 50 ° C. or less is easy to handle because it is solid at room temperature. By heating the work piece to a temperature slightly higher than room temperature, a hot melt adhesive is easily applied to a predetermined surface of the work piece, and the work piece is joined to a predetermined position on the work table. As a result, the inventors have found that they can be cooled and fixed in a short time by being left standing, and have reached the present invention.
That is, the present invention is, in a predetermined position of the processing table applying mechanical pressure Engineering, temporary fixing hot melt adhesives you temporarily fixed workpiece consists of one or more aliphatic compounds except the liquid crystal compound In addition, the adhesive is a hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing, which is solid at room temperature and has a melting point of 50 ° C. or lower.
[0007]
In the present invention, by using an aliphatic compound selected from lauric acid, decanoic acid and myristic acid as the aliphatic compound, the melting point of the hot-fix adhesive for temporary fixing can be easily adjusted. .
Moreover, the hot fix adhesive for temporary fixing can be easily apply | coated to a to-be-processed object by adding a viscosity modifier in an aliphatic compound. As this viscosity modifier, montmorillonite can be suitably used.
Further, as this montmorillonite, by using montmorillonite in which an organic substance having a charge opposite to the charge on the surface is intercurrentd, it can be used as a viscosity modifier, and the adhesive strength of the hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing, etc. The mechanical properties can be improved.
[0008]
Since the hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing according to the present invention is solid at room temperature, its handling is easy.
On the other hand, since the melting point of the hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing is 50 ° C. or lower, the hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing can be easily applied to the workpiece by heating the workpiece to a temperature not lower than room temperature and not higher than 50 ° C. Can be applied. For this reason, the possibility of causing thermal distortion of the workpiece, which is caused by heating the workpiece to a high temperature exceeding 50 ° C., can be solved.
In addition, since the heating temperature of the workpiece is 50 ° C. or less, it is possible to shorten the heating time for raising the workpiece to a predetermined temperature and the cooling time for cooling to the room temperature. The processing time of the workpiece including the time for fixing to the predetermined position can be shortened.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The hot-fix adhesive for temporary fixing according to the present invention is composed of one or more aliphatic compounds.
As the aliphatic compound, one or a plurality of aliphatic compounds selected from lauric acid, decanoic acid and myristic acid can be suitably used.
Moreover, the hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing according to the present invention needs to have a melting point of not less than room temperature and not more than 50 ° C. (preferably 40 to 50 ° C., more preferably 40 to 45 ° C.).
Here, since the hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing having a melting point of less than room temperature is liquid at room temperature, handling thereof becomes complicated. On the other hand, with a temporarily fixing hot melt adhesive having a melting point exceeding 50 ° C., it is necessary to heat the workpiece to a temperature exceeding 50 ° C. when applying the temporarily fixing hot melt adhesive to the workpiece. There is a risk of causing thermal strain in the workpiece.
[0010]
As described above, in order to adjust the melting point of the hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing to a range of room temperature or higher and 50 ° C. or lower, an aliphatic compound having a melting point within this range may be used. A plurality of different types of aliphatic compounds may be mixed to adjust the melting point.
For example, the melting point of a hot-fix adhesive for temporary fixing obtained by changing the mixing ratio of lauric acid and decanoic acid is shown in FIG. In FIG. 1, the temporary fixing hot melt adhesive with 100% lauric acid has a melting point of 44.8 ° C., but the temporary fixing hot melt adhesive with 60% lauric acid and 40% decanoic acid has 33 Reduce to 3 ° C.
In the mixing of lauric acid and decanoic acid shown in FIG. 1, a commercially available ultrasonic crushing device, ultrafine particle dispersing / emulsifying device, or the like can be used.
However, when lauric acid is less than 80%, both tend to be unable to be sufficiently mixed.
In addition, the melting point of a commercially available hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing is usually about 100 ° C. or higher.
[0011]
The temporary fixing hot melt adhesive thus obtained needs to be applied to the workpiece. At that time, the temporary fixing hot melt adhesive has a uniform thickness on the application surface of the workpiece. It is necessary to be applied. This requires that the viscosity be low and stable when a high share is added to the melted hot fix adhesive for temporary fixing.
In this regard, by adding a viscosity modifier to the aliphatic compound forming the temporary fixing hot melt adhesive, the viscosity of the temporary fixing hot melt adhesive can be made low and stable under a high share. it can.
As such a viscosity modifier, montmorillonite which is a layered clay mineral can be suitably used. The amount of montmorillonite added is preferably 2 to 8% with respect to the aliphatic compound.
[0012]
For example, regarding a hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing having a melting point of 42 ° C., which is composed of 95% lauric acid and 5% decanoic acid, and 8% montmorillonite is added to the total amount of lauric acid and decanoic acid. The relationship between the viscosity and the viscosity was measured, and the result is shown in FIG.
The viscosity of the temporary fixing hot melt adhesive shown in FIG. 2 was measured at 45 ° C. using a spindle type viscometer. FIG. 2 shows the viscosity of the hot fixing adhesive for temporary fixing with respect to the number of rotations of the spindle.
As is apparent from FIG. 2, the viscosity of the hot-fix adhesive for temporary fixing to which montmorillonite is added decreases sharply as the spindle rotation speed increases, and the rotation speed increases from around 50 rpm. However, the viscosity is almost unchanged and stable. For this reason, the temporarily fixing hot melt adhesive in this state can be easily applied to the application surface of the workpiece and can be applied to a uniform thickness, and the workpiece can be subjected to predetermined processing with high accuracy.
By the way, the phenomenon that the viscosity of the hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing to which montmorillonite is added is stable and the viscosity remains almost unchanged even when the rotation speed of the spindle is increased from around 50 rpm was added. This is probably because montmorillonite, a layered clay mineral, reached a state of orientation in the shear direction.
[0013]
In addition, as montmorillonite, the viscosity of the hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing can be adjusted by using montmorillonite in which an organic substance having a charge opposite to the surface charge is intercurrent, and the work piece is placed at a predetermined position on the work table. When it is fixed to, the mechanical properties such as the strength of the temporarily fixing hot melt adhesive can be improved.
An example of such montmorillonite is shown in FIG. The montmorillonite shown in FIG. 3 is obtained by modifying a crystal surface of
Examples of the montmorillonite include montmorillonite in which dimethyl distearyl ammonium is intercurrentd between layers, and montmorillonite in which dimethyl distearyl benzyl ammonium is intercurrentd between layers.
[0014]
FIG. 4 shows the addition amount of montmorillonite (montmorillonite 1) in which dimethyldistearylammonium is intercurrentd between layers and montmorillonite (montmorillonite 2) in which dimethyldistearylbenzylammonium is intercurrentd between layers to 95% lauric acid and 5% decanoic acid. About the hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing obtained by changing the above, the fixing force when the work piece is applied and fixed is investigated, and the result is shown.
As is apparent from FIG. 4, by adding

Example 2
The temporarily fixing hot melt adhesive obtained in Example 1 was applied to a workpiece (25 mm square metal plate) heated to a temperature in the vicinity of the melting point of each level and adhered to a processing table. Next, the bonded work piece was peeled off, and the force required for the peeling was shown in Table 2 below as a fixing force.
[Table 2]
The levels of No. 1 to 4 have a large fixing force of the workpiece and can be sufficiently put into practical use. In particular, the level of Nos. 1 to 3 to which
However, the No. 5 and No. 6 levels have a smaller fixing force of the workpiece than the No. 1 to 4 levels, but can be used practically.
[0018]
Example 3
For the temporarily fixing hot melt adhesives of No. 1 to No. 3 in Example 2, the fixing force to various materials was measured in the same manner as in Example 2, and the results are shown in Table 3 below.
[Table 3]
As is apparent from Table 3, the hot-fix adhesives for temporary fixing No. 1 to No. 3 in Example 2 exhibit a good fixing force even when the material of the workpiece is changed.
[0019]
Example 4
Using the hot-fix adhesive for temporary fixing No. 1 in Example 2, the work piece (50 mm × 100 mm × thickness 9 mm, material SKH2) is fixed to the processing table, and the cutting surface is applied to the ground surface. Flatness was measured. The flatness was 1 μm.
On the other hand, using a commercially available hot-fix adhesive for temporary fixing (melting point 53 ° C.), the same workpiece was fixed to a processing table, and was subjected to cutting to measure the flatness of the ground surface. The flatness was 10 μm.
As shown in FIG. 5, the workpiece fixed with the hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing of No. 1 in Example 2 using a commercially available hot-melt adhesive for temporary fixing. Can be processed more accurately.
