【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、洗濯、すすぎ、脱水の一連の行程を自動的に行う洗濯機に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種の洗濯機は図12および図13に示すよう構成していた。以下、その構成について説明する。

図12に示すように、外槽1は、底部にパルセーター2を回転自在に配設した洗濯兼脱水槽3を内包し、吊り棒4により洗濯機外枠5に防振支持されている。外槽1の底面には、洗濯兼脱水槽3とパルセーター2を駆動するモータ6を有し、また、上方には外槽1を覆う外槽カバー7を設けており、この外槽カバー7の下部に、図13に示すように、洗濯液を散水させる整流部材8を配設している。

上記構成において動作を説明する。洗濯行程では、洗濯兼脱水槽3内に洗濯物(衣類)を入れ、洗濯液の中で洗濯兼脱水槽3を回転させると、この回転力による遠心力で外槽1の内面を洗濯液が競りあがる動きが発生し、上昇した洗濯液は上部の外槽カバー7に配設した整流部材8により方向を変えて、洗濯兼脱水槽3と外槽カバー7の間から洗濯兼脱水槽3内に向けて吐出する。

吐出された洗濯液は洗濯物を通過した後、再び遠心力によって外槽1の内面を競りあがる経路で循環し洗濯を行う。同様にしてすすぎ行程も行われる。このようにして、洗濯、すすぎ、脱水の各行程を自動的に行うことができる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このような従来の構成では、外槽カバー7の下部に整流部材8を配設しているため、洗濯兼脱水槽3と外槽カバー7との間に所定の隙間が必要となる。また、昨今の洗濯容量の大容量化と洗濯機本体の小型化により、洗濯物が洗濯兼脱水槽3の上端部近傍まで投入され、さらに、洗濯物が脱水行程時の遠心力によって競りあがり、洗濯兼脱水槽3と外槽カバー7の隙間に入り込んで損傷するという問題があった。

また、整流部材8の近傍は洗濯液が吐出するために、洗濯物の侵入を防止する邪魔板などの設置が困難であった。

本発明は上記従来の課題を解決するもので、洗濯性能、すすぎ性能などに影響する整流部材からの洗濯液の吐出の妨害を最小限に押さえながら、整流部材近傍からの洗濯兼脱水槽と外槽カバーとの隙間への洗濯物の入り込みを防止することを第1の目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は第1の目的を達成するために、外槽内に回転自在に洗濯兼脱水槽を配設し、外槽の上方を外槽カバーにより覆い、洗濯兼脱水槽を駆動手段によって回転駆動させることによるポンプ作用で洗濯兼脱水槽と外槽の間の洗濯液を洗濯兼脱水槽と外槽カバーの間から洗濯兼脱水槽内に向けて吐出させる構成とし、外槽カバーには、洗濯液を洗濯兼脱水槽の略回転中心に向けて散水する整流部材を設け、洗濯兼脱水槽の回転中心側端部に、洗濯兼脱水槽の回転方向と逆方向へ略垂直に阻止板を配設したものである。

図1および図2に示すように、洗濯機外枠11は4本の吊り棒12により外槽13を防振支持している。洗濯兼脱水槽14は外槽13内に回転自在に配設し、洗濯兼脱水槽14の底部にパルセータ15を回転自在に配設している。また、洗濯兼脱水槽14の上部には、液体を内封した液体バランサー16を固定し、外槽13の上面は外槽カバー17によって覆われている。この外槽カバー17の下面には、水流を整える整流部材18を配設している。また、モータ(駆動手段)19は、減速機構20を介してパルセータ15または洗濯兼脱水槽14を駆動する。
