本発明は、略箱状の装置本体の前面に、レンズ部と、ストロボ部とが配される撮像装置に関するものである。

従来から、略箱状に形成された装置本体の前面に、レンズ部と、ストロボ部とが配された撮像装置としてのデジタルカメラが知られている。この種のデジタルカメラとして、上面を開口した箱状に形成され、装置本体の下側を覆うカバー部材を設けたものが知られている(例えば、特許文献1参照。)。カバー部材は、装置本体に対して上下に移動自在であり、上方に移動するとレンズ部及びストロボ部を被覆し、下方に移動するとレンズ部及びストロボ部が露出するようになっている。
