従来、はがきが添付された冊子状の印刷物としては、例えば、実開昭６４−９７７０号公報に記載されているような、同一サイズの紙片を綴じた冊子であり、一つの紙片がハガキとして使用できるように切り取り可能にされている構成の販促用小冊子、実開昭５０−１３８１１６号公報に記載されているような、同一サイズの紙片を綴じた冊子であり、一つの紙片が複数枚のはがき用紙として切り取り可能に綴じられている宣伝用印刷物等が知られている。
しかしながら、上記の構成の販促用小冊子ないしは宣伝用印刷物はそれぞれ同一サイズの紙片が冊子状に綴じられた構成であって、その内の一部の紙片がはがきとして切り取り可能に綴じられているものであるため、販促ないしは宣伝用に使用する場合には１枚の紙片のサイズが小さくなり、宣伝文ないしは広告を印刷するたための紙片面積が小さく見る人に対して迫力に欠けるという欠点がある。また、簡単な工程で効率的に低価格で製造できる構成のものではないという欠点がある。
