Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a grommet seal inspection apparatus that inspects a seal state of a wire harness penetration portion in a grommet through which a wire harness is penetrated.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a conventional grommet seal inspection apparatus, for example, there is a seal inspection apparatus disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-241288.
In the seal inspection apparatus 1, as shown in a schematic configuration diagram of the main part in FIG. 3 , a water storage tank 3 is continuously provided above the air tank 2 via a partition wall 4. The partition wall 4 is formed with a mounting hole 5 that allows the grommet 10 to be fitted from the water storage tank 3 side so that the air tank 2 and the water storage tank 3 communicate with each other.
[0003]
The air tank 2 is connected to an air supply / exhaust means (not shown) for supplying and discharging pressurized air via an air supply / exhaust pipe 6. A water supply / drainage means (not shown) for supplying and discharging water is connected to the water storage tank 3 through a water supply / drainage pipe 8.
The grommet 10 is made of a rubber having a substantially conical shape as a whole, and is set in the seal inspection apparatus 1 with the top of the cone facing upward. A circumferential mounting groove 13 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the grommet 10 on the large diameter end side. Moreover, the through-hole 11 is formed in the position used as the top part of a cone, and the wire harness W / H is penetrated.
[0004]
And the part of the wire harness W / H penetrated through the through hole 11 of the grommet 10 is sealed in a watertight state between the electric wires by the sealing liquid, and the urethane sheet 12 and the tape T are wound around the sealed part. In addition, a water-stopping treatment is applied to the cylindrical portion in which the through hole 11 is formed.
[0005]
Therefore, when the seal inspection apparatus 1 is used to inspect the seal state of the wire harness penetration portion in the grommet 10, first, the mounting groove 13 of the grommet 10 is fitted into the periphery of the mounting hole 5 in a watertight state. Set the top of the cone facing up.
Then, pressurized air is supplied from the air supply / exhaust means (not shown) into the air tank 2 through the air supply / exhaust pipe 6, and then water is supplied from the water supply / drainage means (not shown) into the water storage tank 3 through the water supply / drainage pipe 8. .
[0006]
In this state, the seal inspection is performed by observing the inside of the water storage tank 3. If the gap between the electric wires or the gap between the wire harness W / H and the grommet 10 is insufficient, the pressurized air in the air tank 2 leaks into the water in the water storage tank 3 through these defective seals. Emerges as bubbles. If the seal is normal, no bubbles are generated. That is, whether the sealing property is good or bad is determined by the presence or absence of bubbles in the water storage tank 3.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above-described conventional grommet seal inspection apparatus 1 has a problem that the control, operation and maintenance of the water supply / drainage system for the water storage tank 3 are complicated, and it takes a lot of time to replace water.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a grommet seal inspection apparatus capable of efficiently inspecting the grommet sealing performance with a relatively compact configuration.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The above object of the present invention is a seal inspection apparatus for inspecting a seal state of a wire harness penetration part in a grommet that has penetrated a wire harness,
An air tank, a water storage tank provided with a grommet mounting portion provided continuously above the air tank via a partition wall, and having a water storage portion in which water is stored below the partition wall, and the partition wall A mounting hole that is formed and fitted with the grommet being disposed with the wire harness penetrating portion on the side of the water storage tank, a supply / exhaust means for supplying and exhausting pressurized air to and from the air tank, This is achieved by a grommet seal inspection apparatus comprising a spacer having a predetermined volume provided so as to be able to be taken in and out of the water in the water storage portion so that the wire harness penetration portion is submerged at the time of inspection.
[0009]
According to the said structure, when a spacer is submerged in the water of the water storage part in a water storage tank, a water level will rise to a grommet attachment part according to the volume of this spacer, and the said wire harness penetration part will be immersed. In addition, when the submerged spacer is taken out of the water in the water reservoir, the water level descends to the water reservoir and returns to the original water level, so that the grommet is exposed from the water.
Therefore, it is only necessary to adjust the water level by putting the spacer in and out of the water storage section of the water storage tank, and it is not necessary to take out water from the water storage tank every time the seal state is inspected.
[0014]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, a grommet seal inspection apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view schematic cross-sectional view showing a seal testing apparatus of the grommet, and FIG. 2 showing a state when the inspection of the seal inspection apparatus shown in FIG. 1 according to the implementation embodiments of the present invention. The seal testing apparatus 1 and substantially similar components and grommet shown in Figure 3, a detailed description thereof is omitted by the same symbol.
[0015]
Water tank 3 in the seal inspection apparatus 21 of the grommet according to the implementation embodiments of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, provided with a grommet attaching portion 26 which is continuously provided through the partition wall 4 above the air tank 2, A water reservoir 22 is provided on the side of the air tank 2 opposite to the air supply / exhaust pipe 6. And in the said water storage part 22, water is stored in the state which has the water surface below the partition 4 (attachment position of the grommet 10).
[0016]
A spacer 23 having a predetermined volume is disposed on the water surface of the water reservoir 22, and the spacer 23 can be moved in the vertical direction by driving means such as an air cylinder device 24.
Then, when the spacer 23 is moved downward by the extension drive of the air cylinder device 24 and is submerged in the water in the water storage section 22, the water level is adjusted according to the volume of the spacer 23 as shown in FIG. The wire harness penetrating portion 25 is submerged by ascending to the mounting portion 26.
[0017]
Further, when the submerged spacer 23 is moved upward by the contraction drive of the air cylinder device 24 and is taken out of the water in the water reservoir 22, the water level drops to the water reservoir 22 according to the volume of the spacer 23. In order to return to the original water level, the grommet 10 is exposed from the water as shown in FIG.
[0018]
Therefore, when inspecting the sealing state of the wire harness penetration part 25 in the grommet 10 using the seal inspection device 21, first, the mounting groove 13 of the grommet 10 is fitted into the periphery of the mounting hole 5 in a watertight state. Set with the top of the cone facing up.
Then, pressurized air is supplied into the air tank 2 through an air supply / exhaust pipe 6 from an air supply / exhaust means (not shown). Next, when the spacer 23 is moved downward by the extension drive of the air cylinder device 24 and is submerged in the water of the water storage part 22, the water level rises to the grommet mounting part 26 and the wire harness penetration part 25 is submerged. .
[0019]
In this state, the seal inspection is performed by observing the inside of the water storage tank 3. If the gap between the electric wires or the gap between the wire harness W / H and the grommet 10 is insufficient, the pressurized air in the air tank 2 leaks into the water in the water storage tank 3 through these defective seals. Emerges as bubbles. If the seal is normal, no bubbles are generated. That is, whether the sealing property is good or bad is determined based on the presence or absence of bubbles in the water storage tank 3.
[0020]
And after completion | finish of an inspection, when the spacer 23 is moved upward by the contraction drive of the cylinder device 24 and is taken out of the water in the water reservoir 22, the water level drops to the water reservoir 22 and returns to the original water level. The grommet 10 is exposed from the water. Thereafter, the grommet 10 may be removed from the mounting hole 5.
[0021]
That is, according to the seal inspection device 21 of the present embodiment, the spacer 23 is moved up and down by simple driving means such as an air cylinder device, and the water level is adjusted by taking the spacer 23 into and out of the water in the water storage unit 22. This eliminates the need for large-scale water supply / drainage means such as the conventional seal inspection apparatus 1 shown in FIG .
Therefore, since it is not necessary to take in and out water from the water storage tank 3 every time the seal state is inspected, the time required for replacing the water in the water storage tank 3 can be greatly reduced, and the workability is excellent.
[0022]
Accordingly, the seal inspection device 21 of the present embodiment has a device configuration that is significantly more compact than the conventional seal inspection device 1 and can efficiently inspect the sealing performance of the grommet 10 in a short time. Seal inspection in accordance with the tact in the manufacturing process of the harness W / H can be performed.
[0037]
The seal testing apparatus of the grommet of the present invention is not limited to the configuration above you facilities embodiment, it is needless to say that may be embodied in various forms based on the gist of the present invention.
[0038]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the grommet seal inspection apparatus according to claim 1 of the present invention described above, when the spacer is submerged in the water of the water storage section in the water storage tank, the water level rises to the grommet mounting section according to the volume of the spacer. Then, the wire harness penetration part is submerged.
[0041]
Therefore, a large-scale water supply / drainage means like the conventional seal inspection device is not necessary, and the time required for replacing the water in the water storage tank can be greatly shortened, and the grommet sealability is efficiently achieved with a relatively compact configuration. It is possible to provide a grommet seal inspecting device capable of inspecting.
