Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
More particularly, the present invention relates to a joint member for connecting body edges of a handrail, a fence, and the like, and more specifically, a body edge of a handrail, a fence, or the like that is constructed at a corner or the like and whose direction changes depending on the situation of the construction site. It is related with the coupling member which can be utilized for.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, handrails with different orientations are connected to each other at a connecting portion such as a corner where the direction of the handrail changes by using a joint member capable of adjusting the angle. Conventionally, such joint members are disclosed in JP-A-5-148968, JP-A-6-173407, JP-A-7-324523, JP-A-10-169142, JP-A-2-138296, JP-A-5-7806, and the like. Various forms have been proposed.
[0003]
In JP-A-10-31127, JP-A-11-107478, JP-A-2000-170341 and the like, a metal core material made of synthetic resin is used for the purpose of improving the appearance and imparting a non-slip effect to the handrail. The handrail which coat | covered this cover member is disclosed, and the trial which provides a cover member similarly to the joint member of a corner is made | formed.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when the cover member is provided on the joint member, if the joint member is bent and used, the inner portion of the core material becomes shorter, so that the cover member located on the inner side is wrinkled, which is not preferable in terms of appearance. It was.
[0005]
An object of the present invention is to provide a joint member such as a handrail that prevents the cover member from being wrinkled even when the joint member is folded and used by allowing the cover member to move on the core material. And
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A joint member such as a handrail according to the present invention includes a bendable core member, a connecting member connected to a handrail provided on both sides of the core member, a shorter member than the core member, and a periphery of the core member. A surrounding flexible cover member, and a ring member provided with a space around the core material at both ends of the core material, the diameter of the space portion covering the outer diameter of the core material The cover member is formed to have a diameter larger than the diameter of the member, and both end portions of the cover member are inserted into the space portion, and the end portions of the cover member are movable in the space portion .
[0007]
In the joint member such as the handrail of the present invention, the core material is bent at an arbitrary angle according to the situation at the construction site, and ends of the handrail and the like having different directions are integrally connected to the connecting member. The cover member covers the core material and prevents the core material from being exposed to the outside. When the core material is bent, the length of the inner part of the core material is shortened, so the cover member will be displaced in the axial direction as it goes inward, but the space formed by the ring member is displaced by this cover member. The wrinkles are absorbed (the cover member moves in the space) and no wrinkles occur.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The core material used in the joint member of the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it has a foldable structure, and a conventionally known structure can be used. For example, there is a structure in which a large number of notches are formed on one side portion of the core material and can be bent so that the side on which the notches are provided is inside.
[0009]
The cover member is not particularly limited as long as it is flexible and can be deformed following the bending of the core material. However, the cover member is preferably formed of a material having good weather resistance, flame retardancy, and the like. For example, it is preferable to use a resin cover member made of an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer such as ethylene propylene rubber. Moreover, it is also preferable to employ a means that can smoothly move the upper surface of the core material when the core material is bent.
[0010]
If the said ring member can form the space part of a predetermined | prescribed magnitude | size, the structure and material will not be specifically limited. The ring member may be formed integrally with the core material, or may be formed separately and fixed to the core material. In addition, it is preferable to form a protrusion on the inner surface of the ring member that abuts on both ends of the cover member to restrict movement. By forming the protrusion, the cover member can be fixed at a predetermined position, and the cover member can be prevented from being displaced to one side and coming out of the space portion.
[0011]
The space portion only needs to be large enough to move the cover member, and long enough to accommodate the slack of the cover member that occurs in the inner portion of the core when the core member is bent.
[0012]
The connecting member is not particularly limited as long as it can be connected to a handrail or the like, and a conventionally known structure can be used. Moreover, the joint member of this invention can be used for the connection of the handrail in a corner and the trunk edge of a fence.
[0013]
【Example】
An embodiment of a joint member such as a handrail according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0014]
1 is a front view of the joint member, FIG. 2 is a right side view of the same, FIG. 3 is a plan view of the same, FIG. 4 is a sectional view partially cut away in the axial direction, and FIG. 5 is a sectional view taken along line AA in FIG. FIG. 6 is a single view of a ring member used for a joint member, FIG. 7 is a left side view of the same, FIG. 8 is a longitudinal sectional view of the same, FIG. 9 is a view showing a state in which the joint member is bent, and FIG. FIG. 11 is a diagram showing a main part in a state where the joint member is attached to the handrail, FIG. 12A is an overall plan view of the handrail connected by the joint member, and FIG. It is.
[0015]
1 to 5, reference numeral 10 denotes a core material formed by a round pipe made of an aluminum molding material. The core material 10 has a plurality of notches 11 formed in parallel at a predetermined interval except for both ends, and is bent. It is possible. A pair of screw holes 12 are formed on the inner surface. The core member 10 is covered with a cover member 20 made of an olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer, leaving both ends on the outer peripheral surface thereof. In addition, a ring member 30 is provided at both ends of the core member 10, and a connecting member mounting plate 40 is provided outside the ring member 30, and the ring member 30 and the connecting member mounting plate 40 are connected to a screw 41. Is fixed to the core member 10 by being screwed into the screw hole 12.
[0016]
As shown in FIGS. 6 to 10, the ring member 30 has a substantially cylindrical tube portion 31. The inner diameter d1 of the tube portion 31 is equal to the outer diameter d2 of the core member 10 and the thickness of the cover member 20. It is formed to be slightly larger than the diameter added with t. Therefore, a space 50 having a size substantially equal to the thickness of the cover member 20 is formed between the cylindrical portion 31 and the core member 10, and the end of the cover member 20 is inserted into the space 50. Yes. The length of the cover member 20 is shorter than the length of the core member 10, and the tip of the cover member 20 is inserted into the space 50 of the ring member 30 only slightly.
[0017]
On the inner surface of the cylindrical portion 31, a protrusion 32 for restricting the movement of the cover member 10 is formed on the outer side (the upper side in FIG. 9) when the core member 10 is bent. The tip of is located at a location slightly deeper than the end face of the cylindrical portion 31. Accordingly, the movement is restricted in a state where the cover member 20 is inserted into the space 50.
[0018]
The connecting member mounting plate 40 is provided with a connecting member 60 for connecting a handrail. The connecting member 60 is screwed into a screw hole 42 formed in the approximate center of the connecting member mounting plate 40. By doing so, the screw 61 is rotatably mounted around the screw 61. Further, the connecting member 60 is formed in a cylindrical body having a substantially semicircular cross section, and a flat surface portion of the cylindrical body is fixed by a screw inserted from a bottom surface portion such as a handrail.
[0019]
In order to use the joint member having the above-described configuration at the corner of the handrail, the core member 10 is bent so that the protrusion 32 is on the outside as shown in FIG. At this time, the length of the inner side of the core member 10 is shortened by an amount corresponding to the interval between the cutout portions 11, so that the length of the inner portion of the cover member 20 remains, but the ring member 30 has a space. Since the part 50 is formed, the end part of the cover member 20 moves in the space part 50 and wrinkles do not occur.
[0020]
Next, as shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, the end of the handrail 70 is attached to the connecting member 60 of the joint member 1 with screws 71, and the handrail 70 and the joint member 1 are integrally connected as shown in FIG. To do. The handrail 70 and the joint member 1 connected at right angles in this way are used as shown in FIGS. Reference numeral 72 denotes a support column that supports the handrail 70.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
According to the joint member such as a handrail according to the present invention, the space member is formed by the ring member at both ends of the cover member, and when the core member is bent, the cover member can move along the core member. No wrinkles are generated on the cover member. Therefore, a good appearance can be obtained at the corner of the handrail.
