【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、一対の挟持部材の各々が開口面を有するケースに収納され、その開口面同士を合体させてケース同士を閉成したとき、その一対の挟持部材の各挟持面が対向し、その一方の挟持面に配した研磨部材と、他方の挟持面との間に遊技球を挟持し、その挟持した遊技球を一端から他端に向けて搬送すると共に、その搬送時に研磨部材で遊技球を研磨するようにした遊技球研磨搬送装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
図11、図12および図13は従来の遊技球研磨搬送装置の構成例を示し、図11は装置下半側の斜視図、図12は装置下半側の横断面図、図13は装置下半側の開閉状態を示し、(a)は開成状態を、(b)は閉成状態をそれぞれ示す説明図である。これらの図において、従来の遊技球研磨搬送装置100Aは、装置本体側ケース101と蓋側ケース102とを有し、蓋側ケース102は装置本体側ケース101に対して、蝶番155によって開閉可能に支承してあるとともに、係止手段160によって閉成した状態に保持される。そして、この遊技球研磨搬送装置100Aは、装置本体側ケース101と蓋側ケース102とを閉成したときに、装置本体側ケース101に設けた揚送ベルト110と、蓋側ケース102に設けた支持部材120の、揚送ベルト110に対向する面に支持された研磨布150との間にパチンコ玉Bを挟持させ、該揚送ベルト110を駆動することによってパチンコ玉Bの揚送を行うようにしたものである。揚送ベルト110は、研磨布150に対向する挟持面が平坦の無端環状を成すもので、上下の回転ローラ(図示せず)間に巻き掛けてある。支持部材120は、揚送ベルト110に対向する支持面に、上下方向に沿って直線状に延在する複数列の凹部溝121を有しているとともに、これら複数列の凹部溝121が研磨布150によって覆ってある。

上記従来の遊技球研磨搬送装置100Aによれば、揚送ベルト110が走行すると、研磨布150との間に挟持されたパチンコ玉Bが凹部溝121に沿って案内され、適宜転動しながら所望の高さ位置まで揚送されることになる。この間、パチンコ玉Bが研磨布150に対して摺接されることになり、その表面に付着した異物が研磨除去されるようになる。

そして、装置本体側ケース101と蓋側ケース102とを閉成したときに、研磨布150は、図13に示すように、装置本体側ケース101の幅方向両縁部101a,101aの各面と、それらに対向する蓋側ケース102の幅方向両縁部102a,102aの各面との間に挟まれ、支持されるようになる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、上記従来の遊技球研磨搬送装置100Aのように、研磨布150を面と面との間に挟み込み、支持している程度では、その挟持力が小さく、パチンコ玉を搬送している間に研磨布150が図13(b)の矢印に示すような方向に引き込まれて緩み、その結果、図14に示すように、装置内部でたるんでしまうことがあった。このような状態になると、揚送ベルト110がその研磨布150に接触して損傷を受け、削られる場合がある。また、研磨布150とパチンコ玉との接触圧が下がり、パチンコ玉の磨きが悪くなるという問題があった。特に、蝶番155側と係止手段160側とを比較すると、係止手段160側で挟持力が弱くなりやすく、したがって、係止手段160側の研磨布150が装置内部に引き込まれてたるみやすかった。

この発明は上記に鑑み提案されたもので、研磨布が装置内部に引き込まれてたるむことを確実に防止することができる遊技球研磨搬送装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、請求項1に記載の発明は、一対の挟持部材の各々が開口面を有するケースに収納され、その開口面同士を合体させてケース同士を閉成したとき、その一対の挟持部材の各挟持面が対向し、その一方の挟持面に配した研磨部材と、他方の挟持面との間に遊技球を挟持し、その挟持した遊技球を一端から他端に向けて搬送すると共に、その搬送時に研磨部材で遊技球を研磨するようにした遊技球研磨搬送装置において、上記ケースは、本体側ケースと、この本体側ケースの前面開口を覆うカバー側ケースとからなり、上記本体側ケースと上記カバー側ケースとは、幅方向一方の蝶番によって開閉可能に支承してあるとともに、幅方向他方の係止手段によって閉成した状態に保持され、上記本体側ケースと上記カバー側ケース同士の閉成によって、一方のケースの開口側の幅方向両縁部に有する固定用部材と他方のケースの開口側の幅方向両縁部との間で、あるいは双方のケースの開口側の幅方向両縁部に有する固定用部材同士の間で研磨部材を固定する研磨部材固定手段を設けた、ことを特徴としている。

以下にこの発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて詳細に説明する。先ず第1の実施形態を図1〜図5を用いて説明する。

ここで例示する遊技球研磨搬送装置100は、図1に示すように、多数のパチンコ機Pを並設して構成した遊技島Sにおいて各パチンコ機Pから排出されたパチンコ玉Bを上部タンクTに搬送するためのもので、鉛直上下方向に沿って延在する搬送ケース10を備えている。

搬送ケース10は、図2および図4に示すように、ベース10Aの上面に立設され横断面がコの字状を成す本体側ケース11と、この本体側ケース11の前面開口を覆う上部カバー13および下部カバー(下部ケース)14とを備えて構成したものである。上部カバー13および下部カバー14は、本体側ケース11と同様に、それぞれが横断面コの字状を成すもので、本体側ケース11の一方の側板12との間に設けた蝶番15によって開閉可能に支承してあるとともに、他方の側板12との間に設けた係止手段16によって閉成した状態に保持することが可能である。

この本体側ケース11には、下端部に駆動ローラ17を設けてあるとともに、上端部に従動ローラ18を設けてある。駆動ローラ17および従動ローラ18は、相互に平行となる水平軸心回りに回転できるように、一対の側板12の間に配設したものである。このうち、駆動ローラ17には、その軸部の一端部にドリブンプーリ19を設けてあり、電動機20による回転力がドライブプーリ21、駆動ベルト22およびドリブンプーリ19を介して伝達されるようになっている。

これら駆動ローラ17および従動ローラ18には、互いの間に搬送ベルト30を巻き掛けてある。搬送ベルト30は、例えばウレタン系の合成樹脂材によって無端環状に成形した帯状平ベルトであり、駆動ローラ17と従動ローラ18との間に張設してある。この搬送ベルト30には、上述した上部カバー13および下部カバー14に対向する部分の内周面に複数のガイドローラ23を当接させてある。このガイドローラ23は、本体側ケース11の側板12,12に支持部材(図示省略)を介して固定された、横断面がコの字状のフレーム33に回転自在に支持されている。

また、本体側ケース11の幅方向両縁部をなす開口側縁部(側板12,12の各端部)34,34は、図3および図4に示すように、それぞれ外側に折曲されて、上部カバー13および下部カバー14に対向する面が形成されており、この対向面の、下部カバー14に対応する部分には、本発明に係る突条体35が添着されている。この突条体35は、例えば軟質塩ビやゴム等の弾性体からなる細長い平板状のもので、開口側縁部34,34に沿って鉛直上下方向に延在している。

一方、下部カバー14には、搬送ベルト30に対向する内面に、ゴムやスポンジ等の弾性体24を介して案内部材40を設けてある。案内部材40は、例えばウレタンゴム系の合成樹脂材、つまり弾性体24よりも硬質の合成樹脂材によって平板状に成形し、搬送ケース10に沿って鉛直上下方向に延在するもので、搬送ベルト30に対向する支持面41に5本の案内溝42を有している。それぞれの案内溝42は、図4に示すように、パチンコ玉Bよりも僅かに大きな略半円形状の横断面を有し、案内部材40の幅方向に沿って並設してある。

案内部材40の支持面41は、下部カバー14の幅方向両縁部をなす開口側端面43,43と面一に設けられている。そして、研磨布(研磨部材)50が、この面一の支持面41と開口側端面43,43とを覆うように、鉛直上下方向にわたって敷設され、その下端側は、図1および図2に示すように、折り返されて締着部材44に、また上端側も折り返されて締着部材45に、それぞれ固定されている。そして、本体側ケース11と下部カバー14とを閉成したとき、下部カバー14に収納の案内部材40に形成した各案内溝42は、研磨布50で覆われた状態で、本体側ケース11に収納の搬送ベルト30の外周面(挟持面)31に対して対向配置され、また下部カバー14の開口側端面43,43も、研磨布50で覆われた状態で、本体側ケース11の開口側縁部34,34に設けた突条体35,35にそれぞれ対向配置される(図4,図5)。

さらに、上記遊技球研磨搬送装置100には、図2に示すように、導入部材25および導出部材26を設けてある。

導入部材25は、案内部材40と同様にウレタンゴム系の合成樹脂材によって平板状に成形したもので、案内部材40の下端から駆動ローラ17の周囲を囲繞するように下方に延在した後、後方に向けて延在している。

上記のように構成した研磨搬送装置では、電動機20を駆動すると、その回転力がドライブプーリ21、駆動ベルト22およびドリブンプーリ19を介して適宜減速された後に駆動ローラ17に伝達され、当該駆動ローラ17が図2中において時計回りに回転することにより、駆動ローラ17と従動ローラ18との間に巻き掛けた搬送ベルト30が同方向に循環走行する。

この状態においてパチンコ機Pから排出されたパチンコ玉Bが導入部材25の始端上に達すると、当該パチンコ玉Bが導入部材25と搬送ベルト30との間に挟持された状態で適宜転動しながら搬送されることになり、研磨布50と搬送ベルト30との間および導出部材26と搬送ベルト30との間を経た後に、最終的に遊技島Sの上部タンクTに揚送されることになる。すなわち、パチンコ玉Bは、本体側ケース11に収納の挟持部材と、下部カバー14に収納の挟持部材とに挟持されて上部タンクTまで揚送される。

ここで、上記遊技球研磨搬送装置100によれば、下部カバー14を閉成したとき、図5(b)に示すように、下部カバー14の開口側端面43,43が、研磨布50で覆われた状態で、本体側ケース11の開口側縁部34,34に設けた突条体35,35に対向配置され、その開口側端面43,43と突条体35,35とが研磨布50を介してそれぞれ当接し合着するので、研磨布50は、開口側端面43,43と突条体35,35との間で強力に固定される。突条体35は弾性体であるため、その固定はより一層強力となり、したがって、従来の、パチンコ玉を搬送している間に研磨布50が装置内部に引き込まれる現象を確実に防止することができ、研磨布50のたるみによる搬送ベルト30の損傷も確実に防止することができる。さらに、研磨布50はしっかりと固定されるので、研磨布50とパチンコ玉との接触圧低下も発生せず、したがって、パチンコ玉の磨きが悪くなるというような問題をも確実に防止することができる。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本発明によれば、研磨部材が強力に固定されるように構成したので、従来の、遊技球を搬送している間に研磨部材が装置内部に引き込まれる現象を確実に防止することができ、研磨部材のたるみによる搬送ベルトの損傷も確実に防止することができる。さらに、研磨部材はしっかりと固定されるので、研磨部材と遊技球との接触圧低下も発生せず、したがって、遊技球の磨きが悪くなるというような問題をも確実に防止することができる。
