【0024】
また、311はPART/ELEMENT+スイッチ、312はPART/ELEMENT−スイッチを示す。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electronic musical instrument having a function of displaying and editing setting information such as timbre on a screen.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an electronic musical instrument such as a synthesizer has been known which includes a display device and an operator on a panel and can edit (edit) various parameters such as timbre information using these. In recent years, such electronic musical instruments have become highly functional and there are a wide variety of parameters that can be edited. Therefore, a multi-page editing screen is prepared according to the type of parameter to be edited, and a predetermined page is displayed for editing. It is supposed to be. For example, multiple modes that allow you to play multiple parts and edit their settings, voice modes that allow you to edit multiple element sounds (or drum sounds), and utility modes that make settings such as MIDI In an electronic musical instrument having modes, there are various setting parameters for each mode, and they can be edited. The screen for editing includes a plurality of pages for editing a plurality of parts in the multi mode, and a plurality of pages for editing a plurality of element timbres in the voice mode. On the screen, the current mode is displayed, and information on each page (name of parameter being edited, current value of the parameter, part number, element number, etc.) is displayed.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, when the user uses the electronic musical instrument for the first time, the operation is mastered while reading the instruction manual of the electronic musical instrument. In addition, when the method of changing the parameter to be changed by the electronic musical instrument is not known, the user finds a description on how to set the parameter from the instruction manual, and operates the electronic musical instrument according to the description to edit the target parameter. .
[0004]
In the electronic musical instrument having a plurality of page screens for editing as described above, it is necessary to reach the page screen for performing the operations before performing the operations described in the instruction manual. Usually, the instruction manual describes the operation method to reach the page screen, but it is cumbersome to reach the screen that is explained by operating the panel SW etc. while checking the description. .
[0005]
In addition, if the operation procedure up to calling a page screen has a hierarchical structure, the target page screen can be accessed only from another specific page screen. There were times when it was difficult to reach. For example, there is a case where it is necessary to go back and forth between the display screens of the upper layers until a specific page is reached, and to search for a display screen for entering the screen.
[0006]
In the electronic musical instrument having a function of editing various setting parameters for each of several modes, in view of the above-described problems in the prior art, the user can easily reach the screen of the parameter that the user wants to edit. The purpose is to.
