【発明が解決しようとする課題】

次に、本発明にかかる錠剤を実際に製造し、性能を調べた。以下に実施例の結果を説明する。

錠剤の直径は9mmとし、上下の底面の周縁角部には高さ0.36mmの範囲で底面に対して32゜傾斜する斜面をそれぞれ形成した。一方の底面は、全体的に中央が低くて周縁が高くなるように形成した。また、この底面に、中央で直交する二本の割線を十字状に設けた。二本の割線は、何れも幅が0.2mm、底角が60゜のV字形状溝である。これら二本の割線の内、一方の割線が底面の周縁に達する位置の高さが、他方の割線が底面の周縁に達する位置の高さよりも0.42mm高くなるように構成した。また、一方の割線が底面の周縁に達する位置の近傍には割線に跨る平面部を形成した。平面部の範囲は、側面から最大1mmまでとした。また、割線の傾斜は、錠剤の側面から中心に向かって一方の割線が8゜、他方の割線が4゜の角度で次第に低くなるようにした。以上の条件で実施例1にかかる錠剤を実際に製造し、性能を調べたところ、容易に錠剤を二分割することができた。また、得られた半片を更に指で押圧することにより、錠剤を容易に四分割することができた。

図9は、実施例2にかかる錠剤1の拡大平面図である。図10は、同錠剤1の拡大側面図である。図11は、図9におけるB−B断面矢視図である。図示の如く、錠剤1の直径を9mmとし、上下の底面2、3の周縁角部には呼び深さ(nominal depth)で0.36mm、パンチ深さ(punch depth)で0.32mmの範囲で底面に対して32゜傾斜する斜面5をそれぞれ形成した。一方の底面2は、全体的に中央が低くて周縁が高くなるように形成した。また、この底面2に、中央で直交する二本の割線7、8を十字状に設けた。これら割線7、8は、何れも幅が0.48mm、底角が60゜の略V字形状溝である。但し、この略V字形状溝の最深部は鋭角に形成せずに、曲率半径0.1mmの曲面に形成した。これら割線7、8の内、一方の割線7が底面2の周縁に達する位置の高さが、他方の割線8が底面2の周縁に達する位置の高さよりも0.57mm高くなるように構成した。一方の割線7が底面2の周縁に達する位置の近傍には割線7に跨る平面部9を形成した。平面部9の範囲は、最大幅が1mmとなるようにした。一方の割線7の傾斜は、錠剤1の側面4から中心に向かってが8゜以上とするのが好ましいが、この実施例2では12゜とした。他方の割線8の傾斜は、錠剤1の側面4から中心に向かって4゜以上とするのが好ましいが、この実施例2では5゜とした。以上のようにして、底面2において全体として錠剤1の側面4から中心に向かって次第に低くなるように形成した。以上の条件で実施例2にかかる錠剤1を実際に製造し、性能を調べたところ、容易に錠剤1を二分割することができた。また、得られた半片を更に指で押圧することにより、最終的に錠剤1を容易に四分割することができた。
