図3及び図4に示すように、アクセスカバー8の回動側端部には係止部8aが突設されており、装置本体6には前記アクセスカバー8の開閉状態を検出する検出手段9が設けられている。この検出手段9はレバー部材10が軸11を中心に回動可能に取り付けられ、該レバー部材10の一方端側にはセンサ部としてのタクトスイッチ12が電装基板13に取り付けられ、このタクトスイッチ12をレバー部材10が押すとスイッチオンし、前記押しつけがなくなるとスイッチオフするように構成されている。また、前記軸11にはねじりコイルバネで構成した付勢手段としての付勢バネ14が取り付けられており、レバー部材10を図3の時計回り方向(タクトスイッチ12を押圧する方向)に付勢している。
