自動販売機の商品売上げを高めるため、構造面の改良と共に従来種々のキャンペーンが実施されている。その一つは、例えば商品の飲料缶にシールを貼付しておき、購入者がそのシールの所定枚数をはがきに貼って送ることにより景品が当たるというものであるが、購入者はシールを貯めてはがきで応募する面倒があり、一方受入れ業者の方はそのはがきの処理事務が容易でなく、特にキャンペーン効果を高めるため当選チャンスを増やすと更に大きな負担となる。

本発明の課題は、人手をかけずに有効な販売促進手段をとることのできる自動販売機を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上述の課題を解決するため、本発明においては、自動販売機マスター制御部に予めポイント値を設定しておき、ＩＤデータを含むカードに記憶されたポイントデータが設定された値に達したとき、そのカードに含まれるＩＤデータを自動販売機マスター制御部のＩＤデータ記憶部に記憶させ、記憶されたＩＤデータをハンディーターミナルで読み取り得るようにすることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明においては、自動販売機に挿入されたカードに含まれるデータをカードリーダに読み込ませ、自動販売機マスター制御部において各商品に応じたポイント値を設定しておき、商品購入の都度そのポイントデータをカードに書き込み、その結果カードに加算されたポイントデータを、返金、割引、景品等のサービスを購入者に供与する基礎データとする。

次に本発明の実施例を図面について説明する。図１は本発明の自動販売機の制御系統の構成配置図、図２は本発明の自動販売機の外観図である。１は自動販売機マスター制御部、２は硬貨挿入口、３はコインメック、４は硬貨返却口で、コインメック３は自動販売機マスター制御部１に接続され、投入された硬貨の真偽を判別し硬貨信号を自動販売機マスター制御部１に送る。５は紙幣挿入口、６はビルバリデータで、ビルバリーデータ６は投入された紙幣の真偽を判別し紙幣信号を自動販売機マスター制御部１に送る。これらの構成要素については従来の自動販売機と特に差はない。

次に上述の制御系統の動作を説明する。硬貨又は紙幣を使用して商品を購入する場合の動作については従来の自動販売機と変わるところはない。今カード１５がカード挿入口７から投入されると、カードリーダ８はカード１５に含まれる金額とポイントデータを読み取り、自動販売機マスター制御部１へ送る。購入者が商品選択釦９を操作すると自動販売機マスター制御部１へ選択信号が送られ、カードの金額と選択商品の価格とが比較され、販売可であれば販売信号が商品搬出機構１３に送られ、商品が搬出口１４に搬出される。販売が行われると、自動販売機マスター制御部１は予め定めてあるポイント値、例えば商品１個について何ポイント、或は商品の価格に応じて何ポイント、といった値に従い、購入された商品に対するポイントデータをカードリーダ８に送り、カードに元々含まれていたポイントデータに加算してカード１５に書き込み、カード挿入口７に返却する。カード１５に含まれる金額及びポイントデータはその都度表示器１２に表示される。

自動販売機マスター制御部１はキャンペーン用として所定のポイント値を設定できる機能を持っている。カードが投入され、カードリーダ８により自動販売機マスター制御部１に送られたポイントデータはこの所定のポイント値と比較される。今もしカードのポイントデータがポイント値に達したことが判別されると、自動販売機マスター制御部１はコインメック３に予め定めた金額の返金指令を発し、返却口４に現金をサービスとして戻す。

予め会員登録してＩＤデータを書き込んだカードを利用する場合、自動販売機マスター制御部１に予めポイント値を設定しておき、カードに含まれるポイントデータがその値に達したとき自動販売機マスター制御部のＩＤデータ記憶部１１にＩＤデータを記憶させ、ルートマンが訪問したときそのデータをハンディーターミナル１６に収集し、ルートマンが帰ってからその収集されたデータをコンピュータ１７で処理し、そのポイント値に対応する景品の発送処理を行うようにすることができ、会員自身は全く応募の手続きをすることなく景品を入手することができる。この場合、カードの利用の都度ポイントデータを記憶するとデータ量が膨大となり大きな記憶容量を必要とするが、このように設定されたポイント値まで蓄積された場合にのみＩＤデータ記憶部にＩＤデータを記憶させることによってデータ量を極めて少なくすることができる。
