Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a heavy duty tire capable of suppressing uneven wear.
[0002]
[Prior art and problems to be solved by the invention]
Heavy duty tires used in heavy vehicles such as trucks and buses, especially heavy duty tires with a radial structure, have high carcass and belt layer rigidity, so the rigidity of the tread is very high, and the crown and shoulder parts Due to the difference in outer diameter and the like, uneven wear is likely to occur in which the shoulder portion wears early.
[0003]
Conventionally, in order to suppress such uneven wear of heavy-duty tires, for example, as shown in FIG. 3, a narrow groove (defense groove) a is provided in the shoulder portion s of the tread portion t to reduce the rigidity of the shoulder portion s. The thing to be made and what is called a protector rib are proposed.
[0004]
However, the above-mentioned narrow grooves a and the like are liable to cause rubber chipping when traveling on rough roads, and on the other hand, stones tend to bite when traveling on good roads. There is.
[0005]
In addition, as a technique for preventing uneven wear by using two or more kinds of rubbers in the tread rubber, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open Nos. 2-24996 and 4-185507 have been proposed, but it is still sufficient. At present, no effect has been achieved.
[0006]
The present invention has been devised in view of such problems, and is basically formed by forming a tread rubber from a tread main portion and a soft portion and restricting the width of the soft portion. An object of the present invention is to provide a heavy duty tire that can suppress uneven wear without causing biting.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The invention according to claim 1 is a heavy duty tire , wherein the tread rubber has a tread main portion made of a tread base rubber, and has a JISA hardness of 3 ° or more and 15 ° or less than the tread base rubber of the tread main portion . Including a soft portion made of low-hardness rubber which is low in range and extends radially outward from the inside of the tread rubber and appears on the tread ground surface,
And the soft part, while being distribution in the tire circumferential direction the width of the tire axial direction as 1 to 10 mm,
The soft part is characterized in that it is arranged in a region that is separated from the tread edge E by a distance Y of 10 to 20% of the tread width TW .

【Example】
A plurality of types of rib pattern heavy load tires having a tire size of 10.00R20 as shown in FIG. 1 are manufactured (conventional examples, examples 1 to 3, reference examples 1 and comparative examples 1 to 4), and the width of the soft portion. The performance was evaluated with respect to the wear amount of the soft part, the uneven wear amount, the rubber chipping degree, and the stone biting degree. The conventional example is a tire made of one kind of tread base rubber having no soft part and having a defense groove as shown in FIG. In Examples 1 to 3 and Reference Example 1 , one shoulder portion is provided with one soft portion.
The contents of the test are as follows.
[0022]
<Width of soft part>
Four points were measured on the tire circumference, and the average value was taken.
[0023]
<Abrasion amount of soft part>
A sample tire was mounted on the front wheel of a truck with a standard rim of JATMA standard and a maximum pressure of 10 tons. The tire after running 5000 km was measured for the amount of wear of the soft part from the main part of the tread at four points on the tire circumference. The average value was used.
[0024]
<Uneven wear>
With respect to the tire after running for 5000 km, the amount of wear was measured at four locations on the tire circumference on the tire equator and the shoulder portion on the outer side in the axial direction than the soft portion, and the average value of the differences was measured. The smaller the number, the better.
[0025]
<Rubber chipping degree>
The tire after running for 5000 km was run for 100 km on the rough road evaluation test course, and the sum of the circumferential lengths of the portions where the rubber chipping occurred in the shoulder portion was divided by the tire circumferential length. The smaller the value, the better.
[0026]
<Degree of stone biting>
The tire after running for 5000 km was run for 1 km on the road surface covered with gravel, and then the total number of stones generated in the groove portion or narrow groove of the soft portion was examined.
Table 1 shows an example of rubber blending, and Table 2 shows the test results.
[0027]
[Table 1]
[0028]
[Table 2]
[0029]
As a result of the test, it was confirmed that the tires of the examples suppressed uneven wear while preventing stone biting and rubber chipping.
[0030]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the first aspect of the invention, the soft part appearing on the tread contact surface is more likely to slip during contact with the road surface than the tread
[0031]
In addition, since such a soft portion is accelerated and worn earlier than the main portion of the tread with the wear of the tread surface, a groove portion with a small depth extending in the tire circumferential direction is formed under such an action. Furthermore, the rigidity of the tread portion can be relaxed by utilizing this groove-like portion, and the occurrence of uneven wear can be prevented.
[0032]
Further, in the invention according to
[0033]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, the soft portion is made to remain even at the end of the tire life by making the radial length L of the tire meridional section substantially equal to the tread groove for drainage. Therefore, the occurrence of uneven wear can be suppressed over a long period of time.
