Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a pedestal used when a faucet is attached to a washbasin or a top plate (also referred to as a deck) of a bathtub, and more specifically, the outlet of the washbasin or bathtub is remotely opened and closed by the attachment. It is intended to be able to add an operation unit for doing so.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, a bathtub facility disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 6-35370 is provided with an opening / closing stopper device at a drain outlet of the bathtub, and a cable extending from the device is connected to an operation portion provided in a water heater for bathtub hot water supply. The drain outlet can be opened and closed remotely by manually operating the unit.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, when the operation part for remotely controlling the opening / closing plug of the drain outlet is provided in the faucet itself such as a water heater for a bathtub hot water supply as described above, the faucet opens and closes the drain outlet by such remote operation. It can only be installed exclusively for bathtubs or washstands constructed as described above, and cannot be installed in many other parts that do not take remote control, so it is not versatile and manufacturing costs must be increased accordingly. It was a situation.
[0004]
Accordingly, the present invention provides a faucet mounting base that can be provided with an operation unit for remotely controlling a drain outlet, and is designed to eliminate the waste as described above so that the base can be mounted as necessary. It is.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
For this purpose, the present invention inserts a mounting tube portion of the faucet body into a mounting hole provided in a top plate such as a wash basin or a bathtub, and screws a nut from the lower side of the top plate to the mounting tube portion. upon subjected tightening by mounting the faucet body to the top plate, wherein a pedestal interposed on the top plate, the wash basin, the operation unit for remotely operating the shutoff cock of the drain port such as bathtub And a through- hole for penetrating the mounting cylinder portion and a through-hole for penetrating the operation portion are provided.

FIG. 1 is a partial cross-sectional side view at the time of attachment, FIG. 2 is a rear perspective view thereof, and FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the pedestal. . In the figure, 10 is a top plate of a wash basin, 20 is a faucet body, 40 is a pedestal, and 70 is an open / close plug provided at a drain outlet of the wash basin.
[0007]
21 is an operation lever provided on the upper part of the faucet body 20, 22 is provided on the outer periphery of the faucet body 20 so as to be rotatable in a horizontal plane, and a shower switching water discharge head 23 is detachably fitted and supported at the tip. A supporting cylinder 24 is an attaching cylinder part fixed to the lower part of the faucet body 20. Further, 25 and 26 are hot water supply pipes and water supply pipes communicating with the valve ports provided in the faucet body 20, 27 is a water discharge pipe for discharging hot water mixed in the faucet body 20, and 28 is shower switching water discharge. Each of the pipes 25, 26, 27 and the flexible hose 28 penetrates through the mounting cylinder 24 by a flexible hose connected to the head 23, and the lower end of the water discharge pipe 27 is connected to the tip of the flexible hose 28 (see FIG. (Not shown). For this reason, hot water can be mixed in a desired ratio and can be discharged from the shower switching water discharge head 23 by moving the operation lever 21 up and down or rotating. Reference numeral 29 denotes a slip ring that rotatably supports the support cylinder 22, and 30 denotes a flange formed on the outer periphery of the upper end of the mounting cylinder 24.
[0008]
As shown in FIG. 3, the pedestal 40 is provided with a through hole 41 through which the mounting cylinder portion 24 is inserted, and a step 42 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the through hole 41. A mounting portion 43 is integrally provided on the outer periphery, and a through-hole 44 through which the operation portion 50 for remotely operating the opening / closing plug 70 can be inserted is provided in the mounting portion 43. A screw groove 45 is formed on the inner periphery of the through hole 44.

Thus, when attaching the faucet body 20 to the top plate 10, the pedestal 40 provided with the attachment portion 43 of the operation portion 50 is interposed on the top plate 10, so that the faucet body 20 has the opening / closing plug 70. A remote control unit can be easily installed. Further, if a pedestal (not shown) that does not have the attachment portion 43 is used when the faucet body 20 is attached, the faucet body 20 can be attached to a non-remotely operated wash basin or bathtub without any unnaturalness. it can. For this reason, the faucet body 20 can be attached as a remote operation or as a single unit only by appropriately selecting the form of the pedestal.
[0013]
31 and 32 are one side wall of the support tube 22 and the faucet body 20 for engaging with a tool (not shown) that prevents the faucet body 20 from rotating when the seat packing 62 is screwed and tightened. It is the engagement hole opened in. In addition, although not shown in figure, the unevenness | corrugation which mutually engages is formed in the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole 41, and the outer periphery of the cylinder part 24 for attachment, or the base 40 and the faucet body 20 are fixed with a set screw, etc. By providing a fixing means for fixing the pedestal 40 and the faucet body 20 so as not to rotate, it is possible to prevent the secondary rotation as described above when the nut 60 is tightened.
[0014]
In this embodiment, the open / close plug 70 is remotely operated via the cable 54, but the present invention can also be applied to those remotely operated via a link or other transmission member. Further, the present invention is not limited to the single-hole-mounted hot / cold water faucet shown in this embodiment, and can be used for mounting various types of faucets.
[0015]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the present invention, a remote control operation unit can be easily provided by attaching a faucet body with a pedestal interposed on a top plate, so a dedicated water faucet equipped with a remote control unit can be used. Without this, you can easily deal with these specifications. Therefore, there are beneficial effects such as drastic cost reduction.
