Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a solid fuel formed from a mixture of wood flour and paraffin.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, combustible industrial wastes and the like have been burned in an outdoor orchard to suppress the generation of frost, but there have been problems in environmental protection such as the generation of soot. Therefore, some solid fuel that does not generate soot is also used to protect fruit trees from frost.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When burning solid fuel, there is a problem that it is difficult to fix the solid fuel in a predetermined place, or the thermal power is not constant and the combustion time is short.
[0004]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a solid fuel that is easy to install and can supply a constant thermal power over a longer time than before.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The solid fuel of the present invention is made of wood powder and paraffin, and has a flat bottom surface and a hole that opens at the center of the top surface and extends to the bottom surface. This hole preferably does not reach the bottom surface of the solid fuel.
[0006]
The shape of the solid fuel is preferably a columnar body including a cylinder or a polyhedron in order to stably install the solid fuel at the place where it is burned.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Below, the solid fuel which is embodiment of this invention is demonstrated with reference to drawings.
[0008]
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a solid fuel in the present embodiment, and FIG. 2 is a diagram schematically showing an example of use of the solid fuel in an orchard in the present embodiment.
[0009]
The solid fuel 10 in the present embodiment is a mixture of wood powder and paraffin, and is formed in a cylindrical shape. A cylindrical hole 12 extending from the center of the upper surface 10U of the cylinder toward the bottom surface is provided. The length A of the cylinder is about 18 cm, the diameter B of the circle is about 12 cm, the diameter D of the hole 12 is about 3 cm, and the length E of the hole 12 is about 10 cm, but these values are only examples.
[0010]
When the solid fuel 10 is used, the bottom surface 10L in which the holes 12 are not formed is placed on the ground. Then, an igniting agent is inserted into the hole 12 or placed on the hole 12 and then ignited directly in the vicinity of the hole 12 with or without the igniting agent. When the solid fuel 10 is ignited, it starts to burn quickly and continues to burn for approximately three and a half hours without producing soot. When the solid fuel 10 remains slightly burned, the unburned solid fuel 10 is biodegradable and is therefore decomposed by microorganisms in the soil.
[0011]
The solid fuel 10 is ignited in the hole 12 or in the vicinity of the opening 12U of the hole 12, and combustion starts from the upper surface 10U including the hole 12 and gradually proceeds toward the bottom surface 10L. In the early stage of combustion, the combustion area is widened by the holes 12, so that the combustion is stable, and the generated thermal power is constant during the combustion. Furthermore, the stable combustion can extend the combustion time, which was about 3 hours in the conventional solid fuel having no holes, to about 3 and a half hours in the solid fuel 10 of the present embodiment.
[0012]
In the case of a conventional product in which the holes 12 are not provided, the combustion of the solid fuel 10 is remarkable at the start of combustion, and becomes weaker over time, so the heating power is not constant. In addition, when the hole 12 is provided at a position other than the center of the upper surface 10U, the combustion of the solid fuel 10 is not stable, and variation in the thermal power is also generated. When the hole 12 penetrates to reach the bottom surface 10L, the diameter of the hole 12 is significantly longer than that of the present embodiment, or a plurality of holes are provided, combustion proceeds faster than an appropriate speed, Burning time is shortened. When the diameter of the hole 12 is shorter than that of the present embodiment, the combustion stabilizing effect cannot be obtained.
[0013]
Therefore, none of the holes 12 deviating from the present embodiment is preferable. However, when the combustion time of 3 and a half hours in this embodiment can be maintained and the heating power can be made constant, the length of the hole 12 may be shorter than that of this embodiment or may be longer in a range not reaching the bottom surface 10L. .
[0014]
When the solid fuel 10 is used in an orchard, the solid fuel 10 is installed and ignited so that the distance F between the solid fuel 10 and a plurality of adjacent fruit trees 18 is constant (see FIG. 2). The solid fuel 10 is used, for example, at a rate of about 1 per 20 m 2 orchard.
[0015]
As mentioned above, in this embodiment, generation | occurrence | production of the surrounding frost is suppressed by burning the column-shaped solid fuel 10. At this time, since the ratio of the diameter B to the length A is larger than that of the conventional product, the solid fuel 10 can be easily fixed to the ground and is easy and safe to handle. Further, the combustion of the solid fuel 10 is provided with the holes 12 in the upper surface 10U, so that the heating power is constant and the combustion time is extended as compared with the conventional solid fuel.
[0016]
Next, a second embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing the solid fuel in the second embodiment.
[0017]
The solid fuel 14 in the second embodiment is formed in a hexagonal column shape, and is easier to handle than the solid fuel 10 in the previous embodiment, such as being hard to roll even when it falls on an inclined land.
[0018]
The solid fuel of the present invention may be easily and safely handled including mobile phones by a curved body or a polyhedral shape other than a cylindrical body or a hexagonal cylinder.
[0019]
The solid fuel of the present invention may be used for defrosting purposes other than fruit trees. In that case, the object of defrosting is not limited to agricultural products. Moreover, you may use for heating besides a frost prevention use.
[0020]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a solid fuel that is easy to handle such as fixing to a predetermined place and ignition, and that continues stable combustion for a long time.
