Ωc =2π(fc/fs)=π/2
または、
Ωc =2π(fc/fs)=3π/2

且つ、x(Dn−1)・h(1)+x(Dn−3)・(−h(3))+……+x(Dn(L−1))・h(L−1)をフィルタ出力の虚数部として出力する。
【0112】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a signal processing method, a signal processing device, and a Doppler sonar capable of speed measurement according to a distance from an object, which is efficient in analyzing a signal frequency and the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Doppler sonar is widely used for speed measurement in ships, and the measurement range of Doppler sonar is set in various ways according to the type of ship. Doppler sonar is also installed in submarine rescue boats (DSRVs) to rescue submarine crews that have broken down on the sea floor. The DSRV approaches the sunken submarine by self-propelled and docks in the rescue hatch, and rescues the submarine crew through the rescue hatch. In order to dock safely and reliably in the rescue hatch of a sunken submarine, ultra-low speed control is required, and Doppler sonar also requires high speed resolution.
[0003]
A conventional Doppler sonar is to transmit an ultrasonic pulse beam and measure a relative velocity with an object by Doppler shift of the reflected wave. In recent years, many Doppler sonars determine the Doppler shift frequency by digital processing, and digital processing methods use DFT (discrete Fourier analysis, actual calculation is fast Fourier analysis (FFT)) to calculate the frequency spectrum of Doppler shift. The Doppler frequency is detected based on the peak position.
[0004]
In the case of such a pulse method, when the distance to the object is long, a long pulse beam can be output because the arrival time delay of the reflected wave is large, but the arrival time delay is close to the object. For this reason, when a long pulse beam is output, the output pulse and the reflected wave overlap each other, and accurate speed measurement cannot be performed.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the case of DSRV, the speed is controlled so as to approach the sinking submarine, which is the target, and the Doppler sonar requires high speed resolution, but only a short pulse can be transmitted, so the speed resolution decreases. was there. For example, when the distance to the object is 1 m, the arrival delay time of the reflected wave is about 1.3 ms, so even if the sampling frequency is 50 kHz, only 32 FFT points can be obtained, and the frequency resolution is 1.56 kHz. Thus, the detection speed resolution is about 15 knots, and the speed of a ship approaching at an extremely low speed cannot be detected.
[0006]
Therefore, by installing two transducers, one transmitter / receiver transmits a continuous wave and the other transducer / receiver receives a continuous reflected wave. It is conceivable to improve the resolution. However, if an attempt is made to perform an FFT operation by simply taking a long sample point from a long signal, an extremely long time operation is required, and speed data cannot be updated in a short time, resulting in unstable speed control. was there.
[0007]
In addition, the Doppler sonar measures the distance to the object based on the reflected wave delay time of the pulse signal, but there is a problem that this distance measurement cannot be performed with a continuous wave.
[0008]
An object of the present invention is to provide a signal processing method, a signal processing apparatus, and a Doppler sonar capable of measuring an appropriate speed according to a distance, which can obtain a very low speed resolution by efficient calculation.
[0030]

[0033]
this In the invention of the application, the velocity measuring means is a reflected wave of a continuous wave signal. This is a means to measure the velocity by performing discrete Fourier analysis after thinning out the sampling data at a predetermined decimation rate, obtaining the Doppler shift frequency from the spectrum, and starting the reception of the reflected wave of the continuous wave signal. As time passes In order to set the increasing sampling data to a predetermined number of sampling data used for discrete Fourier analysis, A decimation rate changing means for increasing the decimation rate is provided.
[0034]
this In the invention of the application, the velocity measuring means is a reflected wave of a continuous wave signal. This is a means to measure the speed by performing the discrete Fourier analysis after thinning out the sampling data at the predetermined decimation rate and extracting the predetermined number of processed data points, obtaining the Doppler shift frequency from the spectrum, and reflecting the reflected wave of the continuous wave signal As time elapses If the number of sampling data at each changing processing timing is less than the predetermined value used for discrete Fourier analysis, increase the number of processing data points, and if the number of sampling data at each processing timing is larger than the predetermined value, set to a predetermined value To increase the decimation rate A resolution changing means is provided.
[0035]
In this invention, the frequency spectrum of the input signal is developed near the reference frequency which is the center frequency of the region of interest. FIG. 1A is a diagram illustrating an example of a frequency spectrum of the input signal. The input signal is sampled at the sampling frequency fs. The sampling frequency fs is set to a frequency at which the center frequency fc after sampling is fs / 4 or 3fs / 4 as shown in FIG. For this sampling, for example, a so-called undersampling technique can be used.
[0036]
When sampling is performed in this manner, as shown in FIG. 1C, the center frequency is biased to fc, and even if the frequency spectrum is developed in a positive and negative range across the center frequency, the bandwidth is fc or less. If so, the spectra do not overlap due to aliasing. In addition, at this time, the mapping generated in the vicinity of 0 Hz is not necessarily a primary mapping, and may be a multi-order mapping such as a secondary mapping. However, since the center frequency fc is known in advance, what is the primary mapping? It is possible to predict whether it will occur in the vicinity, and it is possible to use a map near 0 Hz that is most easily used. This technique can be applied not only to undersampling but also to decimation described later.
[0037]
Thus, the signal sampled at the sampling frequency fs and formed into a discrete time data string of the center frequency fc is
[0038]
[Expression 1]
[0039]
The frequency spectrum can be shifted so that the center frequency fc becomes 0 (DC) by multiplying by an exponential function sequence. That is, the frequency spectrum obtained from the DFT transform of the data sequence x (n) is
[0040]
[Expression 2]
[0041]
The frequency spectrum Xshift (k) obtained by multiplying the data sequence x (n) by the discrete complex exponential function c (n) is
[0042]
[Equation 3]
[0043]
Thus, it can be seen that the frequency spectrum X (k) is shifted along the frequency axis. That is,
[0044]
[Expression 4]
[0045]
Thus, the entire spectrum can be shifted along the frequency axis so that the center frequency fc of the region of interest of the spectrum is zero.
[0046]
In addition, the exponent (−jΩ) of c (n) c Even if n in n) is replaced by (n + M) by adding a natural number M, that is, when M is shifted to a discrete complex exponential function and the data sequence is multiplied,
[0047]
[Equation 5]
[0048]
As can be seen, the frequency power spectrum is similarly shifted without being affected by this shift.
[0049]
As described above, by sampling in such a relationship that the sampling frequency fs and the center frequency fc of the region of interest are fc = fs / 4 or fc = 3fs / 4,
Ω c = 2π (fc / fs) = π / 2
Or
Ω c = 2π (fc / fs) = 3π / 2
The discrete complex exponential function c (n) is
[0050]
[Formula 6]
[0051]
It becomes. Where Ω c Considering the case of = π / 2, for any integer value n,
[0052]
[Expression 7]
[0053]
Thus, it can be seen that only four types of values of +1, −j, −1, + j are taken.
[0054]
Therefore, it is not necessary to actually multiply x (n) and c (n) in order to shift the frequency spectrum, and simply from the value of n in c (n), with the data sequence x (n) in four periods. It is only necessary to perform positive / negative sign control and real number imaginary number control in accordance with multiplication of +1, −j, −1, + j which are easily determined. That is, when c (n) is a minus sign, only sign inversion calculation is performed. When c (n) is a real number, all values of x (n) are processed as real parts, and c (n) is an imaginary number. In this case, all the values of x (n) may be processed as imaginary parts. Ω c = 3π / 2, Ω c This is the reverse direction to the case of = π / 2 and becomes +1, + j, -1, and -j. The beginning of the repetition of + 1 → −j → −1 → + j or + 1 → + j → −1 → −j may be any one of +1, + j, −1, and −j.
[0055]
As described above, by sampling at the sampling frequency fs such that fc = fs / 2 or fc = 3fs / 2, the frequency spectrum is obtained only by the code control based on the sampling number of the sampling data and the processing only assigned to the real and imaginary numbers. This shift can be performed, and it is not necessary to actually multiply and calculate the exponential function, so that the processing can be greatly simplified.
[0056]
In the sampling data sequence frequency-shifted by this processing, only the real part data and only the imaginary part data appear alternately. Therefore, in calculations such as subsequent filter operations, the real part operation and the imaginary part operation are performed. In both cases, it is possible to reduce the amount of calculation by half of the normal calculation. That is, the calculation of the real part is performed on the real part of the sampling data multiplied by +1 or −1, and the calculation of the imaginary part is performed on the imaginary part of the sampling data multiplied by + j or −j. As shown in FIG. 13, this can be realized by an arithmetic processing unit having a data length that is half the processing data length.
[0057]
In addition, by shifting the center frequency to 0 as described above, it is possible to extend the frequency spectrum centered on 0 Hz (DC) by decimation of sampling data as shown in FIG. Become. By thinning sampling data, long-time sampling data can be handled with a small number of sample points (data points).
[0058]
Furthermore, in the present invention, 4n (n: positive integer) is used as the decimation rate, and the filter coefficient of the FIR filter which is a low pass filter for preventing aliasing of aliasing spectra generated by this decimation is used. Multipliers such as +1, −j, −1, + j or +1, + j, −1, −j, which are multipliers for the frequency shift, are preliminarily multiplied. Since the decimation rate is 4n, the filter operation is performed every time the input sampling data string advances by 4n, and is repeated in four cycles. +1, -j, -1, + j or +1, + j, -1, -j Therefore, the same sampling data is always multiplied by the same multiplier. Therefore, even if the sampling data is not multiplied by this multiplier before being input to the FIR filter, the above frequency is simultaneously calculated in the filter operation. Spectral shifts can be performed. Further, as described above, by using +1, −j, −1, + j or +1, + j, −1, −j as multipliers, one of the real part or the imaginary number of the sampling data is always 0, so that 0 The filter length can be reduced to about ½ by omitting the tap (coefficient calculation).
[0059]
As a result, the frequency shift, FIR filter processing, and decimation processing of the decimation rate 4n can be executed at the same time, and the filter length can be halved (filter operation amount can be halved). The process can be greatly simplified.
[0060]
On the other hand, when sampling sampling data of a finite length, it is often performed to cut out data by multiplying it with a window function such as a Hanning window in order to preserve its frequency spectrum. By multiplying the discrete exponential function sequence c (n) for shifting the spectrum in advance and multiplying this by the sampled data sequence x (n), sampling data extraction by the window function and frequency spectrum shift are performed. Can be done simultaneously.
[0061]
Further, in this case, as shown in FIG. 15, the sampling frequency fs and the center frequency fc of the region of interest are in a relationship such that fc = fs / 2 or fc = 3fs / 2 as in the case of the shift of the frequency spectrum. By sampling, the data sequence is simply multiplied by multiplying the window function sequence by a multiplier data sequence of +1, −j, −1, + j or +1, + j, −1, −j. Data extraction and frequency spectrum shift can be performed simultaneously.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
FIG. 2 is a schematic configuration diagram of a Doppler sonar according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a block diagram of a receiving unit of the Doppler sonar. This Doppler sonar is mounted on a submarine rescue boat (DSRV) that rescues a sunken submarine, and updates and outputs speed data every 200 ms. When DSRV is docked in the rescue hatch, it needs to approach the sinking submarine at a very low speed and control the speed with an accuracy of 0.01 knots. For this reason, this Doppler sonar has a detection accuracy of 0.01 knots. Moreover, since DSRV performs rescue quickly, the reciprocation process between the mother ship and the sunken submarine is submerged and surfaced at a certain high speed. For this reason, the Doppler sonar also has a speed detection range up to about 6 knots.
[0063]
To ensure the above detection accuracy and detection range, Doppler sonar measures the speed using a pulse signal when the distance from the sinking submarine is more than a certain distance (20m to 25m or more). When the signal approaches, the continuous wave signal is transmitted and the reflected wave signal is continuously received for a long time, and the speed measurement is performed using the long time signal. A mode in which speed measurement is performed using the pulse signal is referred to as a pulse Doppler mode, and a mode in which speed measurement is performed using a continuous wave signal is referred to as a continuous wave Doppler mode.
[0064]
In FIG. 3, the Doppler sonar includes a

In addition, when a pulse beam is transmitted, the time difference from when the pulse beam is transmitted to when the reflected wave is received can be measured. Therefore, the distance between the DSRV and the object can be measured based on this time difference.

The ultrasonic signal transmitted by the Doppler sonar is 400 kHz, and the propagation speed of the sound wave in water is 1500 m / sec. Therefore, when the ultrasonic beam angle is corrected, it corresponds to 1 knot (= 0.5144 m / sec). The Doppler frequency is about 100 hertz.

By sampling a 30 kHz signal at 24 kHz in this way, high frequency information is lost. As described above, the maximum moving speed of DSRV is about 6 knots, and the frequency of Doppler shift generated thereby is DSRV. Even if the spread due to the fluctuation of the frequency is taken into consideration, the frequency range of ± 6 kHz is sampled, so that the DSRV moving speed range can be sufficiently covered.

The processing of FIGS. 5 and 6 shows a speed calculation processing operation that is repeatedly executed every 200 ms. When this operation starts, the current operation mode is first determined in s2. There are three operation modes: a pulse Doppler mode (PWD), a continuous wave Doppler mode (CWD), and a distance measurement mode (Temp.PWD), one of which is instructed from the control unit (main CPU) 3. . The
[0075]
Here, when the distance approaches, the switching to the continuous wave Doppler mode is because if the distance is close, the time difference until the transmission signal is received is short, so that a long pulse cannot be transmitted in the pulse Doppler mode. This is because the speed resolution decreases because the number of points cannot be increased. Switching to the pulse Doppler mode when the distance is long can transmit a long pulse because the transmission / reception time difference is long, ensuring a high speed resolution by increasing the number of FFT points. This is because the distance can be measured in parallel based on the time difference between pulse transmission and reception. In continuous wave Doppler mode, since transmission and reception of ultrasonic signals are performed in parallel, the transmission signal wraps around to the reception side, but the reflected wave signal reflected by an object at a long distance has a signal level. This is because it is difficult to use the continuous wave Doppler mode in a state in which the distance from the object is large because there is a possibility that the cover is small and covered by the wraparound.
[0076]
As described above, in the continuous wave Doppler mode, the

A low-pass filter process is performed on the sampling data sequence frequency-shifted by this process (s17). This is because, after that, the sampling frequency is substantially lowered by decimation, so that if the spectrum is in a high frequency band, the spectrum is prevented from being disturbed by aliasing. Then, sampling data of FFT points is extracted from the frequency-shifted data string for each decimation rate data number (s18), and FFT is executed using this data (s19).
[0080]
After decomposing into a frequency spectrum with frequency resolution of the number of samples by FFT, the peak is searched (s20). It is judged whether or not the detected peak frequency is inappropriate beyond the threshold (1 kHz) (s21), and if it is inappropriate, an error signal is output (s26). If the value is within an appropriate range, processing such as averaging and IIR filtering is performed (s22) in order to keep the influence of the past measurement value, and the measurement accuracy is stabilized. For example, when shifting from pulse Doppler mode to continuous wave Doppler mode, if there is a gap in the peak frequency determined in both modes, the control of other navigation control devices is prevented from becoming unstable. This process is performed. In the transition period up to cycle # ≦ 6 shown in FIG. 9, the velocity vector to be output is stabilized while leaving the influence of the peak frequency detected in the pulse Doppler mode. When using an IIR filter for this purpose, for example,
y (n) = (1-α) x (n) + αy (n−1)
Those having the characteristics described above may be used. Here, y (0) is the Doppler shift frequency in the pulse Doppler mode immediately before shifting to the continuous wave Doppler mode, and x (n) is the Doppler shift frequency in the continuous wave Doppler mode. This filter function H (z) is
H (z) = (1-α) / (1-α z-1 )
It is represented by In order to leave the influence of the measurement value in the pulse Doppler mode in the processing cycle of about 1 second from cycle # = 1 to 6 immediately after the transition to the continuous wave Doppler mode, the count α is in the range of 0.5 to 0.7. select. When α = 0.5, the effect of y (0) when cylce # = 6 is 1.56%, 5.00 percent when α = 0.6, and approximately 11.76% when α = 0.7 It becomes. Conversely, the same processing may be performed when shifting from the continuous wave Doppler mode to the pulse Doppler mode, but the set value of α is not limited to the above range, and other value ranges may be taken. There is a possibility.
[0081]
Here, only the last measured value in the pulse Doppler mode is subjected to the IIR filter processing. However, at any distance measurement, a plurality of measured values are averaged to stabilize the output velocity data. May be.

After the averaging / filtering process, the three vectors of measurement results by the three

On the other hand, if it is determined in s34 that the current peak frequency exceeds 350 Hz, that is, the DSRV is moving at a speed exceeding 3.5 knots, the process proceeds to s36 and the filter cutoff frequency is set to 800 Hz. At the same time, the decimation rate is set to 12 and the number of FFT points is set to 1024. The cutoff frequency of the filter is applied in the filtering process of s17. When the decimation rate is set to 12, the data sampled at 24 kHz is substantially reduced to a sampling frequency of 2 kHz, so that the cutoff frequency is set to prevent aliasing. By setting the decimation rate = 12, and the

[0091]
In s43, it is determined whether the current tracking mode is set. The tracking mode is limited to the range where the bandwidth of the Doppler shift frequency signal is narrow from the spectrum shape measured so far, and the measured value is continuously stable. This is the mode when it is not considered. In such a case, it is possible to directly decimate by omitting the demodulation. For example, when 24 kHz sampling data is decimated at a
[0092]
If it is determined in s43 that the current tracking mode is selected, the process proceeds to s44, and it is determined whether the bandwidth of the frequency spectrum is sufficiently narrow. If it is determined that the bandwidth is sufficiently narrow and limited, the process proceeds to s18. When the bandwidth of the frequency spectrum is wide enough to be overlapped by decimation, the band pass filter process is performed to cut the unnecessary frequency band for obtaining the peak frequency (s45), and then the process proceeds to s18.
If it is determined in s43 that the mode is not the tracking mode, the process proceeds to s16, and normal processing is executed.
[0093]
Further, the distance measurement mode is instructed from the
[0094]
When the continuous wave Doppler mode is restored, the processing cycle may be newly restarted from cycle # = 1 from the time when the continuous wave Doppler mode is resumed. The previous A / D conversion stored in the buffer may be used. The measurement may be performed by regarding the data and the data collected after the restart as continuous data. In this case, the data before the interruption and the data after the restart are smoothly connected in consideration of the interruption time. As a connection method, there are a method of interpolation using an interpolation function, a method of connection based on autocorrelation from previous and subsequent data, and the like.
[0095]
Furthermore, even in the distance measurement mode using the pulse wave, data collection may be continued without freezing the counter, and blank data such as 0 is counted while counting up the memory address without freezing the counter. You may make it write. Even in this case, the data during the distance measurement mode of the pulse wave may be interpolated by a predetermined method, and the data with the interruption period may be used as it is without being interpolated although the accuracy is slightly rough. . In the case of a Doppler sonar used in a large ship, the Doppler shift (speed) can be obtained from data collected in the pulse mode.
[0096]
By the above operation, when the distance from the object is far, the speed measurement is performed using the pulse signal, and when the distance from the object is close, the speed measurement is performed using the continuous wave signal. As a result, the resolution of the speed resolution at short distance, which is a problem when using only the pulse signal, is solved while the necessary speed resolution is secured, and the speed and distance are measured simultaneously when only the continuous wave is used. Solved problems such as not being able to.

Here, in the flowchart, the
[0098]
Decimation processing is performed to expand the region of interest (frequency band where the spectrum is developed) of the frequency spectrum obtained from the data sequence x (n) A / D converted by the sampling frequency fs.
[0099]
In order to enable this decimation process, the center frequency (6 kHz) of the region of interest is shifted to zero frequency (DC). That is, the spectrum is moved in parallel with respect to the frequency axis. As described above, this operation is performed by multiplying each data of the sampling data sequence x (n) by the discrete plural exponential function sequence c (n).
[0100]
A frequency spectrum such that the
[0101]
FIG. 10 is a diagram for explaining a transfer method from the A / D data buffer x (n) to the complex number buffer X (n). The A / D data buffer x (n) is a buffer for storing undersampled sampling data (A / D data) string, and the complex number buffer X (n) is an imaginary number whose frequency spectrum is shifted to the center frequency = 0. This is a buffer for storing a sampling data string including a section.
[0102]
In this figure, x (0) is directly transferred to the real part of X (0), and 0 is written to the imaginary part of X (0). x (1) is transferred to the imaginary part of X (1) after inverting the sign of positive and negative, and 0 is written to the real part of X (1). After x (2) is inverted in sign, it is transferred to the real part of X (2), and 0 is written to the imaginary part of X (2). x (3) is directly transferred to the imaginary part of X (3), and 0 is written to the real part of X (3). As described above, the calculation result of the discrete complex exponential function is determined according to the value of the complex unit multiplier data sequence (a sequence starting from any value of +1, −j, −1, + j or +1, + j, −1, −j). This frequency shift can be performed only by sequentially repeating the sign inversion and transcription, and it is not necessary to actually multiply by an exponential function and the operation can be greatly simplified.
[0103]
Further, since one of the real part Real (n) and Imaginary (n) of the complex number buffer X (n) is always 0, a buffer for storing 0 is known if the side that becomes 0 is known based on the above rule. By omitting it, the buffer storage area can be substantially halved.
[0104]
Although the processing has been simplified in this way, performing frequency spectrum shift calculation of the total number N of A / D conversion data before decimation every time FFT processing in continuous wave Doppler mode has many data points. Takes a long time to process. For example, if the number of FFT points is 1024 and the decimation rate is 24, N is at least 24576. Further, in the continuous wave Doppler mode, the speed measurement process is executed every 200 ms. On the other hand, since a sampling data string of about 1 second is used for this process, as shown in FIG. The portion of 800 ms in the sampling data string overlaps that used in the past speed measurement processing. Thus, the overlap data that has already been frequency spectrum shifted in the past is used as it is, and only the newly collected data is subjected to the frequency shift process to shorten the processing time. Here, the last argument n of the discrete complex exponential function c (n) used for the previous frequency spectrum shift process and the first argument n of the discrete complex exponential function c (n) used for the current process are continuous. Then, the phase spectrum of the data string X (n) shifted in frequency spectrum is also continuous. However, since n cannot be increased indefinitely, it is stored in a circular buffer structure memory. At this time, a phase shift occurs between data strings used for FFT, but the FFT processing in this Doppler sonar is for obtaining the Doppler shift frequency based on the peak of the frequency power spectrum, and n is reset halfway. However, as apparent from [Equation 3], since the power spectrum is stored, there is no problem in the subsequent processing.
[0105]
In addition, although an FIR filter is generally used as a filter for limiting the spectrum band (processing of s17), even if FIR filtering processing is performed on all of the sampling data x (n), due to the decimation of the decimation rate D. Since only 1 / D data to be selected is used, it is useless (in this description, x (n) represents X (n) shifted in frequency). For this reason, the filtering process is not performed for each data, the data discarded by the decimation is skipped, and the filtering process is performed for each D-th data. FIG. 12 is a block diagram showing the FIR filter processing for skipping the discarded data. In this figure, the FIR filter functions only when the data x (Dn) selected by decimation is input among the sampling data x (n) continuously input one by one from the left end input terminal. The tap calculation unit outputs data multiplied by the filter coefficient. By adding these data, filtered x (Dn) data can be obtained. When data discarded due to decimation is input from the input terminal, only the upper delay circuit (shift register) functions and the operation of the operation unit of each tap may be suspended. Thereby, filtering and decimation can be performed simultaneously.
[0106]
Here, the FIR filter requires two systems corresponding to the real part and imaginary part of x (n), but each term of x (n) has a significant value only in the real part or imaginary part, respectively. Is 0 (see FIG. 10). Therefore, when D is a multiple of 2, when a value is output from the FIR filter, a filter coefficient that gives a significant real part and a significant imaginary part, and a real part that is 0 and an imaginary part that is 0 are given. The filter coefficient to be determined is determined. Therefore, if D is set to be a multiple of 2, the filter coefficient to which 0 is always given and its calculation process can be omitted.
[0107]
Further, as described above, the frequency shift is a process of transferring the input sampling data to the real part or the imaginary part and controlling the sign thereof, and (+1, −j, −1, + j) every 4 data. Alternatively, the processing of (+1, + j, −1, −j) is repeatedly performed. Therefore, by incorporating the processing to extract as the real part or the imaginary part and the positive / negative sign as a filter coefficient, frequency shift, filtering, and decimation can be processed simultaneously.
[0108]
FIG. 13 shows a block diagram of an FFT preprocessing process that is a batch process of frequency shift, filtering, and decimation. This figure shows a case where the filter length is an odd number and (L + 1) / 2 is an even number. As a condition for this process, the decimation rate D is required to be a multiple of 4 which is a repetition step of the frequency shift process. When data x (Dn) selected at a ratio of 1 to D is input by decimation, data x (Dn− (L−1)) up from this x (Dn) by the filter length is obtained. The data is multiplied by filter coefficients h (0), h (1), -h (2), -h (3), ..., -h (L-1), and x (Dn) · h ( 0) + x (Dn−2) · (−h (2)) +... + X (Dn (L−1)) · (−h (L−1)) is output as the real part of the filter output. X (Dn-1) .h (1) + x (Dn-3). (-H (3)) +... + X (Dn (L-1)). H (L-1) Output as imaginary part. Thereby, frequency shift and filtering can be performed simultaneously. Then, when the A / D data advances by D and the next selection data x (D (n + 1)) is input, the same processing is performed. Decimation is executed by the processing for each D. In this way, the A / D data is advanced one by one, and when data selected by decimation is input, filtering and frequency shift are performed at once, thereby simplifying the process and useless computation. Since no processing is performed, the time required for calculation can be greatly shortened.
[0109]
As described above, in this example, the filter length is an odd number and (L + 1) / 2 is an even number. However, even when (L + 1) / 2 is an odd number, the filter length is Even when L / 2 is an odd number and an even number, the same processing can be performed.
[0110]
The receiving unit shown in FIG. 3 is configured to perform A / D conversion after down-converting to an intermediate frequency by an analog unit. However, as shown in FIG. 14, the signal received by the receiver is directly converted to A / D. D conversion may be performed. In this case, this can be realized by using a broadband high-speed A / D converter with a built-in sample and hold circuit. Even in this case, by appropriately selecting the sampling frequency, A / D conversion can be performed only by the real number system, and frequency spectrum shift calculation in the DSP can be simplified.
[0111]
Although this embodiment has been described with respect to Doppler sonar, the present invention can be applied not only to Doppler sonar but also to any field as long as it is a process of developing a signal into a frequency spectrum and obtaining its peak.
[0112]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, frequency shift in digital processing can be performed by simple processing of code control and allocation to the real part and the imaginary part, so that processing of a signal having a frequency spectrum can be simplified.
[0113]
In addition, according to the present invention, frequency spectrum shift, frequency band limitation, decimation, or sampling data extraction by a window function can be performed in a batch process, so that the processing process of a signal having a frequency spectrum is simplified. Can be In particular, Since the digitized frequency spectrum shift, frequency band limitation, and decimation can be performed collectively by processing in the FIR filter, signal processing can be greatly simplified. Also, this According to the invention, it is possible to simultaneously cut out data by the window function and shift the frequency spectrum.
[0114]
Also, this According to the invention, the discrete time signal whose center frequency is biased can be sampled or decimated as it is without shifting the center frequency to 0 hertz, and FFT can be performed, so that the frequency shift processing can be omitted. Therefore, simplification of processing and reduction of processing time can be realized.
[0115]
Also, this According to the invention, after starting the signal processing, the decimation rate is gradually increased or the number of processing data points is increased, so that the maximum accuracy can be obtained using the maximum data available at that time. Signal processing can be performed.
[0116]
Also, According to this invention, Since the pulse Doppler mode and continuous wave Doppler mode can be switched automatically according to the distance, the combined use of the advantages of both the continuous wave Doppler mode with high speed resolution and the pulse Doppler mode that enables distance measurement in parallel. Is possible.
