従来から、ギャッジベッドのラインに沿わせることを目的としたマットレスは数多く知られており、現在多く出ているギャッジベッド用のマットレスは、内蔵されているウレタンフォームに切り込みを設けることで、ギャッジベッドの姿勢を変えた時のラインに合う形状にできるようにしたものが主流である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしギャッジベッド用の上記マットレスは、ウレタンフォームに入れた切り込みのために強度的に弱くなってしまうものであり、また、体のラインに沿う形状に微妙な形状を得ようとすると、切り込みの数も多くなり、なおさら強度的に弱くなることが懸念される。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下本発明を実施の形態の一例に基づいて詳述すると、図１及び図２はギャッジベッド５用としての敷物１を示しており、該敷物１は、柔軟性のある基布２と、この基布２の両面に夫々複数個が取り付けられた弾性体３と、これらを覆う表皮カバー４とから構成されている。ウレタンブロックや空気袋で形成されている弾性体３は、細長い形状のものとなっていて、基布２の各面には夫々敷物１の長手方向において間隔をおいて取り付けられている。ただし、基布２の一面側の弾性体３と、他面側の弾性体３とは半ピッチずらして配置することで、基布２の一面側の弾性体３間の隙間の部分に、基布２の他面側の弾性体３が位置するようにしている。
