本発明は、ポスト本体に、郵便物を取り出す取出口と、取出口を塞ぐ開閉蓋と、内部を照らす照明器具とを設けた照明付ポストに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来の照明付ポストとしては、ポスト本体の内壁に内部を照らす照明器具を備えてなるものがあった。このものは、郵便物を取出す為の取出口付近に開閉蓋を有しており、開閉蓋の開閉に連動して照明器具の点灯と消灯とが切り替わる。切替えの為に押しボタン式スイッチをその内部に配設し、開閉蓋による押しボタン式スイッチへの押圧状態が変化することで、照明器具の点灯と消灯とが切り替わるようにしていた。

これにより、照明器具の点灯が必要な時、即ち開閉蓋が開状態となった時に照明器具を点灯させることができる。又、照明器具の点灯が必要でない時、即ち開閉蓋が閉状態となった時には照明器具を消灯させることができる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来の技術において、開閉蓋の取付けに製造上のバラツキが生じてしまった場合、或は照明付ポストの種類が異なる為開閉蓋と押しボタン式スイッチとの間の隙間距離が異なってしまう場合などについては、押しボタン式スイッチによる照明器具の点灯と消灯の制御を確実に行えなくなってしまうという問題を抱えていた。

本発明は、上記事由に鑑みてなしたもので、その目的とするところは、開閉蓋と押しボタン式スイッチとの間の隙間を簡単に調整することができる照明付ポストを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明の照明付ポストにあっては、請求項1に記載したように、ポスト本体に、郵便物を取り出す取出口と、取出口を塞ぐ開閉蓋と、ポスト本体内部を照らす照明器具とを設けた照明付ポストにおいて、本体部と受圧部を備え照明器具の点灯と消灯を切替え操作する押しボタン式スイッチを、開閉蓋の内面部で受圧部が押圧操作されるようにポスト本体内部に設けると共に、押しボタン式スイッチに、本体部が固定された状態で受圧部が開閉蓋に対し進退自在となる隙間調整手段を設け、この隙間調整手段で内面部と受圧部との隙間を調整するようにしたものであり、本体部が固定された押しボタン式スイッチの突出した受圧部そのものが進退される隙間調整手段であることを特徴としている。
