本発明は、臀部を温水で洗浄し、その後温風等で乾燥させる乾燥機能付き洗浄便座に関するものである。

従来、用便後に洗浄を行うことで濡れた状態となった肛門部の乾燥を行うこの種の温水洗浄便座としては例えば図7に示すように、電気ヒータで加熱した温風を臀部に当てて乾燥するものが通常である。

同図において1は便器、2は洗浄装置(図示せず)及び便器1内に突出して人体3の肛門部洗浄を行う洗浄ノズル4を内蔵する温水洗浄便座本体であり、本体2には便座5と便蓋6が回転自在に取付けられた構成となっている。また、7は本体2に内蔵される乾燥装置で、送風機8、加熱ヒータ9、送風ダクト10から構成されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、前記従来の構成では、肛門部洗浄後の水滴が肛門部周囲の皮膚等に付着した状態に対して、臀部後方の本体に配設された送風ダクトから吹出される40℃前後の温風を当てて乾燥を行う方式であるが、温風が矢印Aに示すように座位状態の臀部後方の固定位置から吹き出され、臀部表面をなでるように流れ肛門部には直接あたらないため、付着水分を乾燥させるのに要する時間が非常に長くなり、又、使用時の単調感に対して使用者がいらいらしたり苦痛を感じるといった課題があった。また、皮膚表面の水分が多いままで無理に温度を上げ水分を蒸発させて乾燥を行うため、皮膚が過乾燥状態となり、皮膚のかゆみ、かぶれ等が生じるといった課題も見受けられる。

一方、便座から高圧空気を噴出させる方式は、時間短縮という点で少しは効果が見られるが、肛門部に対してノズル位置の角度が自由に取れず肛門部中心付近が弱くなる点や、肛門部との距離が遠くなり噴射流が弱くなること等により満足できる乾燥効果が得られず、また便座自体を高耐圧化や密閉性を上げる等の製造上の課題が大きく実現性に乏しいものである。
