Description
【0001】

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to a data processing apparatus using an OCR having flexibility in operation.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, data processing systems using OCR have been used for various purposes.
For example, in a financial institution, there is a data processing apparatus using an OCR for exchange processing that reads an exchange form with an OCR installed in each branch office and transfers the data to a data processing system in a centralized center.
[0003]
In the system as described above, a unique transaction serial number is assigned and printed by each system, that is, for each form, in order to prevent double processing of each transaction, subsequent confirmation work, and use at the time of scrutiny. It is common. In order to prevent double processing of the transaction, a form to which the transaction serial number is once assigned is not read again by OCR.
[0004]
By the way, in such a system, there is often a case where it is desired to read a form once read by the OCR. For example, in the above-described exchange processing system, when a form is read by the OCR of a branch office and transferred to the data processing system of the centralized center, the form is not filled in with the entry items in the form and the written characters are unclear. It may be impossible to process due to deficiencies in In such a case, since the transaction cannot be processed in the centralized center, it is necessary to contact the sales office to correct the incomplete part of the form and to trade the form again.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the system as described above, a form once read by OCR cannot be read again by OCR. For this reason, in the sales office, the transaction of the form cannot be processed in the system, and there is no method other than turning it to a transaction terminal other than the system and performing the process. In this case, what is normally processed by the data processing device on the centralized center side is processing at the sales office, which places an extra heavy load on the sales office. In addition, in currency exchange transactions, there are cases where processing is performed by the system and processing is performed by other transaction terminals, and the overall operation of the branch office operation becomes complicated.
[0006]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a system with higher operability by permitting OCR reading again by performing a predetermined operation even on a form once read by OCR in a data processing apparatus using OCR. It is to be.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, in the present invention, the sales office uses a form used for each predetermined transaction and every time a predetermined transaction is performed, the form is read by OCR and a transaction serial number is given to the form. And an OCR control device that transmits the read form data to the center, and the centralized center stores the received form data and a database that puts transactions that cannot be processed on the centralized center side into an empty number state. A server and a client for correcting or verifying the form data, and the OCR control device inputs a transaction serial number when the rereading process of the form is selected, and the entered transaction serial number is in an empty number state. Whether or not it is empty, the form is read. Further, the OCR control device displays a message for prompting correction of the transaction serial number input if the input transaction serial number is not in an empty number state. In addition, the OCR control device is provided with a plurality of means for designating transaction serial numbers, performs matching processing of a plurality of designated transaction serial numbers, and re-reads the form only when the plurality of designated transaction serial numbers match. I decided to make it possible. The empty number state is a state of a transaction that is not stored in the database and is not processed or processed at the center side.
[0008]
