本発明はパーソナルコンピュータ、ワードプロセッサなどの情報処理機器、家庭用ゲーム機器などに用いられるワイヤレスキーボードに関するものである。

図5は従来のワイヤレスキーボードの回路を示すブロック図であり、同図において、32は入力端子31を有するキーウェイクアップ機能付きマイクロコンピュータ(以下、マイクロコンピュータという)で、入力端子31にはスイッチマトリクス33が接続され、また、マイクロコンピュータ32には発振子34、赤外発光ダイオード37、電池または充電池などの電源35が接続されてワイヤレスキーボードを構成している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら上記従来のワイヤレスキーボードにおいては、ワイヤレスキーボードのスイッチマトリクス33が操作されていない状態では、キーウェイクアップ機能が作動してマイクロコンピュータ32の状態を停止状態にし、消費電流を極小にしているにもかかわらず、図6(a)に示すように、ワイヤレスキーボード41の上に書籍42などが置かれた場合や、図6(b)に示すように、ワイヤレスキーボード41を縦にして壁43にもたれ掛けさせるなどの行為によってスイッチマトリクス33がオン状態になってしまうと、これによってマイクロコンピュータ32は動作状態になるため、操作者が意図しないスイッチマトリクス33のオンにより電源35が消耗し、寿命を短くしていた。

また、高温環境下において、スイッチマトリクス33を常時オン状態にするとスイッチマトリクス33を構成する配線フィルム(図示せず)が変形を起こし、特性の低下につながるという課題もあった。

本発明はこのような従来の課題を解決しようとするものであり、操作者が意図しない原因によってスイッチマトリクスがオンすることの無いワイヤレスキーボードを提供することを目的とするものである。

上記課題を解決するために本発明は、ワイヤレスキーボードを操作しない場合、スイッチ接点部を有する配線フィルムを摺動させ、キーキャップと連動して上下動するラバードームの接点押圧部からスイッチ接点部をずらすことができる構成としたものである。

本発明の請求項1に記載の発明は、上面に押圧部を有する成形樹脂製のキーキャップと、このキーキャップを上方で上下動可能に保持する成形樹脂製のケースと、このケースの下面に配設された硬質の基板と上記ケースの下面に設けられた凹部との間に水平方向に摺動可能に保持され、スペーサを介して対向する対向スイッチ接点部を有した一対の可撓性を有する配線フィルムと、上記キーキャップの下方に配置されてキーキャップの押圧動作により下面に設けた突部が上記配線フィルムの対向スイッチ接点部を押圧動作するラバードームと、上記キーキャップの押圧動作により上記対向スイッチ接点部にて発生した信号をワイヤレス信号として発光ダイオードより送信する制御回路が内蔵されたマイクロコンピュータと、これを駆動する電源からなり、上記ラバードームの下端を受ける滑りがよく可撓性を有するフィルムを上記配線フィルム上に装着すると共に、上記フィルムの上記ラバードームの突部に対応する位置に貫通孔を設けた構成としたものであり、操作者が作業の終了時に配線フィルムを摺動させることにより、操作者が意図しない原因によってスイッチマトリクスがオンすることがなくなり、電源の消耗の防止ができるとともに、対向スイッチ接点部の特性の低下の防止もできて信頼性を向上したワイヤレスキーボードを提供できるという作用を有する。
さらに、ラバードームと配線フィルム間に滑りがよく可撓性を有するフィルムを配したことにより、ワイヤレスキーボードの操作者が配線フィルムを摺動させる際の操作性を向上させることができると共に、突部に対応する位置に貫通孔を設けたことにより、フィルムを装着することによるスイッチ操作荷重の増大や操作感触の変動を防止できて軽操作荷重の操作性に優れたワイヤレスキーボードを実現できるという作用を有する。

以上のように本発明によれば、ワイヤレスキーボードを操作しない場合、対向スイッチ接点部を有する配線フィルムを摺動させて、キーキャップと連動して上下動するラバードームの接点押圧部からスイッチ接点部をずらせる構成にすることによって、操作者が作業の終了時に配線フィルムを摺動させることによって、操作者が意図しない原因によってスイッチ接点部がオンすることが無くなり、電源の寿命を延ばすことができるとともに、スイッチ接点部の特性の低下を防止できるという有利な効果が得られるものである。
