【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、表面に装飾布を張った中空体にあっては、その表面に張った装飾布の周辺部が、手などの当たりによって次第にめくれあがったり、装飾布の縁がほつれたり、あるいは毛足の長い装飾布の場合は周辺部の毛足が周縁部分からはみ出すなど、比較的短期間のうちに外観が損なわれやすいものである。

また、中空体のブロー成形時に装飾布を一体に成形する場合は、装飾布の毛足が長くなるほど周辺部の毛足がブロー過程で樹脂の移動に押されて、周辺方向になぎ倒される現象を呈し、装飾布をその周辺部まで外観良好に一体成形することが難しい。

本発明は、上記のような問題点を解消しようとするものであって、中空成形品の表面に張った装飾布の周辺部が剥がれたり、また、特に毛足の長い装飾布であっても長い毛足が周縁部分からはみ出すことがなく、外観性にすぐれたパネル状の布張り中空成形品を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するための本発明に係るパネル状の布張り中空成形品は、パネル状の成形品の意匠面をなす表面にその周縁部分より中空部側に低くした布張り面を形成して起毛部が成形品の表面側となるように装飾布を張り付け、上記周縁部分と布張り面との境に中空部側に窪む溝部を形成するとともに周縁部分を布張り面に対して突出して起毛部の毛足が周縁部分からはみ出さないようにする縁取部とし、この縁取部で囲まれた布張り面に張り付けた装飾布の周辺部の毛足が外方に倒れないように構成されていることを特徴とするものである。

【作用】
本発明に係る布張り中空成形品によれば、成形品の意匠面をなす表面にその周縁部分より中空部側に低くした布張り面を形成し、周縁部分と布張り面との境に中空部側に窪む溝部を形成して周縁部分を布張り面に対して突出する縁取部としており、その縁取部で囲まれた布張り面に装飾布を張り付けるので、布張り面に張り付けた装飾布の周縁部分は、その張り付け面より突出している縁取部により囲まれて保護される。

図1および図2は、本発明に係るパネル状の布張り中空成形品として、建築物の内壁やパーティションを構成するパネルを例示している。

上記のように構成された一対の分割形式の金型10,10を用いてパネル1をブロー成形するにあたっては、一方の金型10の布張り面を成形するキャビティ11に装飾布5をその起毛部8がキャビティ側で基部7が表面側となるように嵌め込み状に装填する(図3参照)。次いで、開かれた一対の分割形式の金型10,10の間にパリスン14を配置し、一対の分割形式の金型10,10を型締めして、パリスン14内に圧力流体を導入すれば、パリスン14は金型10,10のキャビティに沿った形状のパネルに成形されるとともに、その布張り面には一方の金型10内に装填してあった装飾布5が、その基部7がパリスン14に圧着され、一体に成形される(図4参照)。

本発明に係るパネル状の布張り中空成形品によれば、成形品の表面に張った装飾布の周辺部が剥がれたり、また、特に毛足の長い装飾布であっても長い繊維が周縁部分からはみ出すことがなく、外観性にすぐれたものが得られる。
