本発明は、内燃エンジンに装備して用いるリコイルスタータ装置に関し、詳しくはラジコン等用小型内燃エンジンのクランク軸にワンウエイクラッチを取付け、このワンウエイクラッチとリールの軸受孔との回転不能な嵌着によって内燃エンジンに装着する形式のリコイルスタータ装置の改良、具体的にはスタータケースに対するリコイルロープ用リールの取付構造の改良に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種のラジコン用小型内燃エンジンのリコイルスタータ装置としては、例えば次のような構成のものが知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前記従来の技術において述べた形式のリコイルスタータ装置は、前記のような構成であったために、次のような問題点があった。すなわち、
a、 阻止部材28がエンジンへの取り付け前の部品輸送だけに機能するだけとは言え必要なものであって全体として部品点数が多い。
b、 阻止部材28があるために工程が多くなって組立/分解しにくい。
c、 阻止部材28が外れて所謂悪さをする。
d、 部品点数が多いために低コスト化に向いていない。
e、 リコイルロープ用リール6はバネ室22の周壁に案内されて回転する形式であって回転中心の軸棒を有していなく安定性がよくない。

本発明は、前記諸問題点を解消する工夫およびその他の工夫を施した新規のリコイルスタータ装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記目的を達成するために本発明に係る蓄力式スタータ装置は、内燃エンジンのクランク軸にワンウエイクラッチを取付け、このワンウエイクラッチをリコイルロープ用リールと連結させ、リコイルロープ用リールを回転させることで内燃エンジンを始動させるリコイルスタータ装置において、前記リコイルロープ用リールにセンター軸を突設し、このセンター軸の先端に抜け止め個所を設け、またエンジン側に取付可能なスタータケースを有し、このスタータケースの天井面の中心位置にセンター孔を開設し、このセンター孔に前記センター軸を押入して同孔に前記抜け止め個所を回転自在に係止させたものである。

そして、センター軸はスリ割を有し且つその先端には先端に向うに従って細くなる傘状もしくは低くなる傾斜を備えた三角突起形状の抜け止め個所を有し、またセンター孔はセンター軸の軸径よりも大きく抜け止め個所の最大径部分よりも小さい孔であるものである。

図に示す実施例は、六角形の軸孔1をもつ筒状の軸受部2の両端部外周にロープ溝5を形成する1対の鍔3,4を一体に設けたリコイルロープ用リール6を僅かの弾性を備えた硬質合成樹脂材料を以て構成すると共に一方の鍔3にロープ通し孔7を開設してこれにリコイルロープ8の基端部を挿通し、同基端部におけるロープ溝5の側壁の外側に存する個所にロープ通し孔7の径よりも径大の結び玉9を設けて抜け外れ不能とし、リコイルロープ8をロープ溝5内に捲着する。

更に、前記軸受部2の外端面に短管状のバネ巻取軸兼センター軸11を一体に突設し、このバネ巻取軸兼センター軸11の外端縁面に1本もしくは2本以上の深いスリ割12を切設して縮径可能とすると共に同バネ巻取軸兼センター軸11の先端部に先方に向うに従って細くなる傘状の抜け止め個所13を一体に突設する。

また、これとは別個に、硬質合成樹脂材料を以てエンジン側のファンケース14への取付孔15を開口縁に有する皿形状のスタータケース16を構成し、このスタータケース16の天井面17の中心に前記バネ巻取軸兼センター軸11の外周径より大きく傘状係止部13の外周径より小さいセンター孔19を開設すると共に同スタータケース16の外周壁20における天井面17に近い個所に段部21を形成してバネ室22を設け、このバネ室22にリコイルバネ23を当該リコイルバネ23がリコイルロープ8に捲き戻し力を賦与する向きとして装入し、この装入状態において同リコイルバネ23の巻きの中心空間部24を介してセンター孔19に前記バネ巻取軸兼センター軸11を内側から外に向って押入し、よって傘状抜け止め個所13の外周縁部25をセンター孔19の切縁部外面に係止したものである。

そして、前記実施例は、内燃エンジンのクランク軸31にワンウエイクラッチ32を取付け、このワンウエイクラッチ32とリコイルロープ用リール6の軸受孔1との回転不能な嵌着によってリコイルロープ用リール6をクランク軸31に取付けて用いたものである。

【発明の効果】
請求項1に係るリコイルスタータ装置は、前記のように、内燃エンジンのクランク軸にワンウエイクラッチを取付け、このワンウエイクラッチをリコイルロープ用リールと連結させ、リコイルロープ用リールを回転させることで内燃エンジンを始動させるリコイルスタータ装置において、前記リコイルロープ用リールにセンター軸を突設し、このセンター軸の先端に抜け止め個所を設け、またエンジン側に取付可能なスタータケースを有し、このスタータケースの天井面の中心位置にセンター孔を開設し、このセンター孔に前記センター軸を押入して同孔に前記抜け止め個所を回転自在に係止させて成るので、前記従来例が有しているような阻止部材28を有していないものであって、前記a〜d等のような問題点を悉く解消することができる著効を奏するものであり、しかも、本発明においてセンター軸は、阻止部材28をいらなくする機能、スタータケースに対するリコイルロープ用リールの取付機能、リコイルバネの巻取り機能、リコイルロープ用リールの回転中心軸としての機能、および当該リコイルロープ用リールの回転の安定性を良くする機能等を一品で果し、構成組立の簡略化を可能にするものであって、その効果は極めて大なるものである。

また、請求項2に係るリコイルスタータ装置においてセンター軸はスリ割を有し且つその先端には先端に向うに従って細くなる傘状もしくは低くなる傾斜を備えた三角突起形状の抜け止め個所を有し、またセンター孔はセンター軸の軸径よりも大きく抜け止め個所の最大径部分よりも小さい孔であるので、スタータケースに対するリコイルロープ用リールの取付は、センター軸をセンター孔に押入するという簡易な単純作業でスピーディに行うことができて、生産の能率アップに適しているものである。

さらに、請求項3に係るリコイルスタータ装置は、スタータケースの天面部内にバネ室を設けてこれにリコイルバネを装入し、同バネ室にリコイルバネの内端フックをセンター軸のスリ割に係止させて成るので、当該センター軸のスリ割は前記センター軸の抜け止め個所がセンター孔の外に出ることを可能にする縮径機能の他にリコイルバネの内端フックの係止機能を果たすものであって、構成の簡略化に極めて好ましいものである。
