BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a control device for an automatic transmission mounted on an automobile, and more particularly to predictive control of a line pressure as a source pressure of an operating pressure supplied to a friction element.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, an automatic transmission mounted on an automobile combines a torque converter and a transmission gear mechanism, and switches a power transmission path of the transmission gear mechanism by selective operation of a plurality of friction elements such as a clutch and a brake. This type of automatic transmission is provided with a hydraulic control circuit that controls the operating pressure supplied to the friction element.
[0003]
In this hydraulic control circuit, the discharge pressure of the oil pump is adjusted to generate a predetermined pressure (hereinafter referred to as “line pressure”), and the operating pressure supplied to the friction element is controlled based on this line pressure. For this purpose, operating pressure generating means such as a duty solenoid valve is provided.
[0004]
For example, at the start of supply of the operating pressure, in order to prevent a delay in the supply, the hydraulic pressure of the friction element is supplied by supplying the line pressure as it is with the operating pressure generating means fully opened for a predetermined time after the output of the shift command. Precharge control is performed to quickly fill the oil passage leading to the chamber with hydraulic oil. In that case, since the flow rate of the hydraulic oil when the operating pressure generating means is fully opened varies depending on the line pressure at that time, it is necessary to determine the time for performing the precharge control based on the line pressure at that time. There is.
[0005]
Further, during the shifting operation, the operation pressure is controlled by the operation pressure generation means, for example, to control the turbine rotation speed or the rate of change thereof to the target value. Even if the control amount for the operating pressure generating means is constant, the operating pressure obtained depends on the line pressure at that time, so the control amount such as the duty ratio for obtaining the target operating pressure uses the line pressure. (See, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 62-124343).
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, in precharge control at the start of gear shifting, feedback control during gear shifting, and the like, the control amount is determined using the line pressure at that time, and therefore these controls are to be performed with high accuracy. In this case, it is necessary to accurately grasp the actual line pressure at that time.
[0007]
For example, in the precharge control, if the estimated line pressure is lower than the actual line pressure, the precharge control time becomes longer, and the line pressure is supplied as it is even after the oil passage is filled with hydraulic oil, If the friction element is suddenly engaged or released, and the estimated line pressure is higher than the actual line pressure, the precharge control time is shortened, and the delay in supplying the operating pressure is not sufficiently eliminated. Such a problem occurs.
[0008]
Also, in feedback control of the operating pressure during a shift operation, for example, a correction amount of the operating pressure is calculated in order to make the turbine rotation speed coincide with the target rotation speed, and the operation pressure generating means is controlled with a control amount corresponding to the correction amount Even if is operated, if the estimation of the line pressure is inaccurate, the calculated operating pressure cannot be obtained, and as a result, a good speed change operation cannot be obtained.
[0009]
On the other hand, the line pressure is controlled to a target value according to the throttle opening of the engine at that time by a linear solenoid valve or the like so that the torque input to the friction element can be reliably transmitted. It has become. Therefore, it can be considered that the target value of the line pressure control is used as the value of the current line pressure for the determination of the precharge time, the feedback control of the operating pressure during the shift operation by the operating pressure generating means, and the like.
[0010]
However, the actual line pressure is different from the target value immediately after the change because of a response delay, so the precharge time is set based on the target value, and control in feedback control of the operating pressure is performed. If the amount is determined, the accuracy of these controls is reduced.
[0011]
Therefore, the present invention predicts the actual line pressure from the target value of the line pressure control, and uses the predicted line pressure to determine the precharge time, the control amount for the feedback control of the operating pressure, and the like. Therefore, it is an object to be able to always perform these controls satisfactorily.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention uses the following means.
[0013]
First, an invention according to
[0014]
In the invention according to claim 2 (hereinafter referred to as the second invention), in the first invention, the friction element is fastened as the control amount of the operating pressure generating means determined using the predicted pressure by the control amount determining means. In this case, the supply time of the precharge operating pressure generated by the operating pressure generating means is determined.
[0015]
Furthermore, in the invention according to claim 3 (hereinafter referred to as the third invention), when the operating pressure generating means is a duty solenoid valve, the control amount determining means uses the valve as a control amount determined using the predicted pressure. The duty ratio during the shifting operation is determined.
[0016]
And when the invention which concerns on Claim 4 (henceforth 4th invention) calculates a predicted pressure by a pressure prediction means, it changes so that the target value of the predetermined pressure used for the prediction may become high, The present invention is characterized in that the calculation formula is changed depending on the case where the calculation formula is changed to be lower.
[0017]
By using the means as described above, according to the present invention, for example, the control for determining the control amount using a predetermined pressure such as precharge control at the start of shifting or feedback control of the operating pressure during shifting operation is performed. By performing based on the predicted pressure, these controls are performed with high accuracy.
[0018]
In other words, when the above control is performed using the target value for the control of the predetermined pressure by the pressure generating means, particularly when the predetermined pressure changes in accordance with the change in the throttle opening of the engine, etc. Since the target value and the actual pressure do not match due to the response delay of the pressure change, the control accuracy such as the precharge control and the feedback control is lowered. By using this, this decrease in control accuracy is avoided.
[0019]
Here, as the operating pressure generating means, a duty solenoid valve, a linear solenoid valve, an ON-OFF solenoid valve, or the like is used.
[0020]
According to the second aspect of the invention, since the precharge control at the start of shifting is performed using the predicted pressure, this control is performed with high accuracy. Further, according to the third aspect of the invention, the operating pressure generating means When the duty solenoid valve is used, the feedback control of the operating pressure during the shift operation using the duty solenoid valve is performed with high accuracy by using the predicted pressure.
[0021]
According to the fourth aspect of the invention, the calculation formula used when the predicted pressure is calculated by the pressure predicting means is changed, for example, at the time of downshifting of torque demand or at the time of upshifting of backout. In this case, the pressure is predicted appropriately according to each request.

[0073]
Here, the base hydraulic pressure Pb is set by adding the hydraulic pressure corresponding to the target turbine rotation change rate during the shift and the hydraulic pressure corresponding to the target turbine torque during the shift (see symbol (a) in FIG. 10). .
[0074]
Further, the feedback hydraulic pressure Pfb is set by comparing the turbine rotational speed during the shifting operation with a target value for each control cycle, and obtaining a hydraulic pressure corresponding to a deviation with respect to the target value from the map. The feedback hydraulic pressure Pfb is calculated from the moment when the turbine rotation change rate becomes larger than a predetermined value due to the start of the inertia phase, that is, the state in which the turbine rotation speed changes due to the shift (see symbol A in FIG. 10).
[0075]
Next, in step S4, it is determined whether or not a predetermined delay time T1 (see FIG. 10) has elapsed after the shift command is output. Until this delay time T1 elapses, in step S5, the
[0076]
If the delay time T1 has elapsed, in step S6, the turbine rotational speed Nt is changed to the rotational speed Nt after shifting. 0 After a predetermined number of rotations ΔNt is increased to a low number of rotations (hereinafter referred to as “the number of rotations immediately before the end of shifting”), it is determined whether or not a predetermined time T2 has elapsed. Thus, a duty ratio signal corresponding to the calculated hydraulic pressure Ps obtained as described above is output to the
[0077]
Here, the turbine rotational speed Nt is the rotational speed immediately before the end of shifting (Nt 0 The feedback control of the servo apply pressure is performed until the predetermined time T2 elapses after it has risen to −ΔNt) in order to execute this control at the end of the shift, that is, until the

When the precharge time is finished (Fp = 0), in step S14, the turbine rotational speed Nt is changed to the rotational speed immediately before the end of the shift (Nt 0 In step S15, a signal having a duty ratio corresponding to the calculated hydraulic pressure Ps is output to the
[0080]
Thereafter, the turbine rotation speed Nt is set to the rotation speed immediately before the end of the shift (Nt 0 −ΔNt), the duty ratio is decreased to 0% at a constant rate according to steps S16 and S17.
[0081]
As a result, the forward clutch pressure is maintained at the hydraulic pressure that causes the forward clutch 51 to be in a state immediately before the engagement, during the releasing operation of the 2-4
[0082]
Next, setting of the precharge flag Fp whose value is determined in step S12 of the program of FIG. 9, that is, setting control of the precharge time will be described.
[0083]
This control is performed according to the program shown in FIG. 11. This program is executed in parallel with the program of FIG. 9 when a shift command is output. First, in step S21, the total flow rate Qt is initialized. Is set to 0. Next, in step S22, based on the map set as shown in FIG. 12, the base flow rate Q passing through the
[0084]
In this case, the map is set so that the base flow rate Q increases as the line pressure increases. However, even if the
[0085]
In addition, in order to obtain | require this base flow volume Q correctly, the predicted line pressure calculated | required by the control mentioned later is used as said line pressure.
[0086]
Next, in step S23, the oil temperature correction coefficient C1 is read from the map set as shown in FIG. In this oil temperature correction coefficient map, the correction coefficient C1 is set to be smaller than 1 as the hydraulic oil temperature decreases. In step S24, the base flow rate Q is multiplied by an oil temperature correction coefficient C1 to obtain a flow rate correction value Q ′ (= Q × C1).
[0087]
As a result, when the flow rate through the valve decreases from the standard state even at the same line pressure because the temperature of the hydraulic oil is low and therefore the viscosity is high, the flow rate calculated according to the actual situation also decreases. Thus, the base flow rate Q (corrected flow rate Q ′) always matching the actual flow rate is calculated.
[0088]
Further, in step S25, the corrected flow rate Q ′ is integrated according to the
[0089]
[Formula 1]
In step S26, it is determined whether or not the total flow rate Qt exceeds a predetermined value C2. Until the predetermined value C2 is exceeded, the precharge flag Fp is set to 1 in step S27 and the predetermined value C2 is set. When it exceeds, the flag Fp is set to 0 in step S28.
[0090]
That is, the predetermined value C2 is an oil passage from the valve to the hydraulic chamber of the friction element in the hydraulic control circuit 100 (at the time of 4-3 shift, from the
[0091]
The value of the precharge flag Fp set in this way is used for the supply control of the forward clutch pressure and the servo release pressure by the
[0092]
In this case, since the base flow rate Q that is the basis for calculating the precharge time is set based on the line pressure at that time as described above, for example, since the line pressure is high, a certain amount of hydraulic fluid is compared. In both cases where the oil pressure is supplied in a short period of time and, conversely, because the line pressure is low, the time required for supplying a certain amount of hydraulic oil becomes long. The precharge control ends when the oil is filled with hydraulic oil.
[0093]
In addition, since the oil temperature is low and the supply of hydraulic oil takes longer than in the standard case, the correction is performed accordingly. In this case, the end timing of the precharge control is actually the oil path. It is possible to accurately respond to the time when the hydraulic oil is filled.
[0094]
As a result, since the precharge time is too short, the response delay of the operating pressure supply control is not sufficiently eliminated, or the time is too long, preventing the trouble that the friction element is fastened and the shock is generated. Is done.
[0095]
When the inertia phase starts before the end of the precharge time set by the program of FIG. 11 and the turbine rotation rate of change becomes larger than a predetermined value, the pre-charge is preliminarily performed at that point in time as indicated by reference numeral d in FIG. The charge control is terminated, and the routine proceeds to output control of the duty ratio corresponding to the calculated hydraulic pressure Ps calculated in step S11 of the program of FIG. As a result, sudden engagement and release of the friction element due to continuing the precharge control even after the start of the shifting operation is avoided.
[0096]
By the way, in the above precharge control, in order to accurately match the time with the time until the hydraulic oil is actually filled with the hydraulic oil, the line pressure that is the basis for calculating the time is correctly grasped. It is necessary to keep. Also, when it is attempted to precisely control the operating pressure supplied to the friction element during a shift by using a feedback solenoid control or the like using a duty solenoid valve, the operating pressure is not limited to the control amount such as the duty ratio. Since it also depends on the line pressure as the source pressure, the target operating pressure cannot be obtained unless the line pressure at that time is correctly grasped.
[0097]
Therefore, in the
[0098]
The line pressure is predicted according to the following equation 2.
[0099]
[Formula 2]
Here, C3n is a value of the coefficient C3 at the time of control before n cycles, and P3 0 (I−n) is also a target value of the line pressure before n cycles.
[0100]
That is, in each control cycle, the target value P of the line pressure 0 Even if is output, since there is a response delay before it is reflected in the actual line pressure P, the target value P output in each cycle 0 Each weight is given with a coefficient C3n, and the weighted average of the output values of a plurality of cycles is performed.
[0101]
Thereby, when the line pressure changes, a line pressure close to the actual line pressure considering the response delay is obtained as the predicted line pressure P. In this case, the value of the coefficient C3n is set as a set of five values in this example in accordance with, for example, the degree of request such as responsiveness and stability.
[0102]
In addition, although said Formula 2 is equivalent to what is called an approximate expression of a transfer function, it can replace with this Formula and can use the transfer function shown by following
[0103]
[Formula 3]
Here, C4n is a value of the coefficient C4 at the time of control before n cycles, and P (i−n) is also a predicted value of the line pressure obtained by the
[0104]
Further, as shown in the following
[0105]
[Formula 4]
Here, C5 is a predetermined value smaller than 1, and this equation is the target value P in the current control cycle. 0 And the predicted value P (i−1) obtained by
[0106]
Among these
[0107]
The predictive control of the line pressure as described above is particularly necessary when the torque pressure is downshifted as the throttle opening increases, that is, when the line pressure changes significantly according to the throttle opening. By performing the shift operation, it is possible to obtain an effect of improving accuracy such as precharge control based on the line pressure and feedback control of the operating pressure.
[0108]
In addition, since the line pressure changes with a change in the throttle opening even during the back-out upshift, this line pressure prediction control is performed. In that case, in order to perform the prediction control of the line pressure with higher accuracy, the control in which the coefficient in the above prediction formula is different between the torque demand shift when the line pressure increases and the backout shift where the line pressure decreases is performed. Done. This is mainly to deal with the fact that the operating characteristics of the duty solenoid valve and the hydraulic control circuit differ between when the line pressure increases and when it decreases.
[0109]
This control is performed according to the program shown in FIG. 14, and this program will be described next. Note that this program is for the case where the above-described equation 2 is used, and determines the value of the coefficient C3n.
[0110]
First, in step S31, the value of the shift flag Fs indicating the type of shift is determined. As shown in steps S33 and S36, the flag Fs is 1 during a torque demand downshift and 0 during a backout upshift.
[0111]
If Fs = 0, that is, if the previous shift is a back-out upshift that reduces the line pressure, for example, and the coefficient C3n is set to the value B in step S37, then the next step Execute S32, and the target line pressure P set according to the throttle opening etc. 0 Is the value P in the previous control cycle 0 It is determined whether or not the value is larger than the value obtained by adding the predetermined value α as the dead zone width to (i-1), but until the torque demand downshift is performed, P is determined. 0 ≦ P 0 Since (i−1) + α, the coefficient C3n is held at the value B as it is simply by repeating steps S31 and S32.
[0112]
Next, a downshift of torque demand is performed, and the target line pressure P is increased as the throttle opening increases. 0 Rises and P 0 > P 0 If (i-1) + α, Steps S31 and S32 to Step S33 are executed, the shift flag Fs is set to 1, and a set of coefficients C3n is set to a value A for increasing hydraulic pressure in Step S34. .
[0113]
When the shift flag Fs is set to 1 in step S33, steps S31 to S35 are executed next, and the target line pressure P 0 Is the value P in the previous control cycle 0 It is determined whether or not the value is smaller than a value obtained by subtracting the predetermined value β as the dead band from (i-1). Until the next backout upshift is performed, P is determined. 0 ≧ P 0 Since (i−1) −β, steps S31 and S35 are repeated, and the coefficient C3n is held at the value A.
[0114]
Then, a backout upshift is performed, and the target line pressure P is reduced as the throttle opening decreases. 0 Decreases and P 0 <P 0 If (i-1) -β, Steps S31 and S35 to Step S36 are executed, the shift flag Fs is set to 0, and a set of coefficients C3n is set to a value B for decreasing the hydraulic pressure in Step S37. Set. Thereafter, steps S31 and S32 are repeated until the torque demand downshift is performed, and the coefficient C3n is held at the value B as described above.
[0115]
Here, the value A for increasing hydraulic pressure refers to the value of the coefficient C3n that gives a lower predicted value as indicated by the chain line a with respect to the actual line pressure indicated by the solid line as shown in FIG. Therefore, by using the coefficient C3n of this value A at the time of a downshift of the torque demand, for example, when the operating pressure of the disengagement side friction element is controlled by the duty solenoid valve, the predetermined value is set based on the line pressure predicted to be low. In order to generate the operating pressure, the duty ratio is set to a small value (open side), so that the operating pressure is controlled to be higher, and therefore the release operation of the release side friction element is rapidly performed because the operating pressure is low. This prevents the situation where the engine speed increases.
[0116]
In addition, in the precharge control at the time of downshift of torque demand, the base flow rate Q passing through the duty solenoid valve is obtained based on the line pressure estimated lower than the actual value. The precharge time determined based on this becomes longer, and as a result, the engagement of the friction element is promoted, and a response delay at the time of sudden acceleration or the like is avoided.
[0117]
Since it is not necessary to estimate the estimated value of the line pressure lower or higher than necessary at the time of back-up upshift, the value B for lowering the hydraulic pressure is set to the target line as shown in FIG. The value of the coefficient C3n that obtains the predicted value that better follows the pressure drop, that is, the direction indicated by the broken line b is employed.
[0118]
In this way, the line pressure prediction control is performed with different calculation formulas according to the respective demands at the time of torque demand shift and backout shift, and in any case, the line pressure is appropriately predicted. It will be.
[0119]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, for example, a control amount using a predetermined pressure obtained by adjusting the discharge pressure of the oil pump, such as precharge control at the start of shifting or feedback control of operating pressure during shifting operation. When the predetermined pressure is changed according to a change in the throttle opening of the engine, etc., the control is always performed by using the predicted pressure close to the actual pressure. It will be done with high accuracy. As a result, the gear shifting operation is favorably performed even during the gear shifting accompanied by the change in the predetermined pressure.
