BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a reflected light identification method for identifying whether or not the reflected light is from a retroreflector, an apparatus therefor, and a position detection apparatus for a moving body using the reflected light identification apparatus.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a method of measuring the current position of a moving body using three retroreflectors arranged at predetermined coordinates is known.
[0003]
A retroreflector consists of a triangular pyramid prism composed of three flat reflecting surfaces that are orthogonal to each other as if one corner of a cube is cut off. It works to send it back in the direction of incident light. A retroreflector that is processed into a sheet shape like a plurality of triangular pyramid prisms is used. This sheet-like retroreflector is often used in a vertically long form.
[0004]
A method of measuring the current position of the moving body will be described with reference to FIG.
A light beam is emitted from a rotating body that rotates in a plane around a predetermined position of the moving
[0005]
In FIG. 5, ψ is the attitude angle of the

In the above position measurement, it is necessary to identify whether the detected reflected light is reflected light from the
(1) Barcode type arrangement method A plurality of retroreflectors are arranged and identified in the form of a barcode.
(2) Bar code pasting method A bar code is pasted and identified on the back and front of the retroreflector.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the method for identifying reflected light by the configuration of the retroreflector has the following problems.
(1) Bar code type arrangement method There is a problem that the installation size of the retroreflector is increased and the signal processing is complicated. In addition, the angle information necessary for measuring the current position may be inaccurate. Furthermore, when a situation occurs in which the reflector exists in the gap between the retroreflectors forming the bar code, the bar code itself does not hold, and an error may occur.
(2) Bar code pasting method The retroreflector is limited in size, so that the pasted bar code cannot be identified when the distance is long, and there is a risk that the reflected light cannot be identified. .
[0008]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an accurate, simple, and practical reflected light identification method and apparatus, and a movable body position detection apparatus using the reflected light identification apparatus.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the invention according to
[0010]
When a plurality of light beams having different angles are irradiated on the reflector to be detected by the above method, if the reflector to be detected is a retroreflector, the reflected light of at least two or more light beams is irradiated together. Returning along the optical path, the reflected light of these rays is received. On the other hand, if the reflector to be detected is a regular reflector, the reflected light of one light beam returns along the irradiated optical path, but the reflected light of the other light beam follows the irradiated optical path. Never come back. Therefore, when reflected light of at least two or more light rays is received, it is recognized as reflected light from the retroreflector.
[0011]
The invention according to
[0012]
With the above configuration, when a plurality of light beams having different angles are irradiated to the reflector to be detected, if the reflector to be detected is a retroreflector, the reflected light of at least two or more light beams is irradiated together. It returns along the optical path, and the reflected light of the light is received. On the other hand, if the reflector to be detected is a regular reflector, the reflected light of one light beam returns along the irradiated optical path, but the reflected light of the other light beam follows the irradiated optical path. Never come back. Therefore, when at least two or more reflected lights of the plurality of light beams irradiated by the light irradiation means are received by the light detection means, the recognition means recognizes the reflected light from the retroreflector.
[0013]
The invention according to claim 3 is a position detection device for a moving body that moves within a predetermined area, and a plurality of retroreflectors are provided at a predetermined position of the area,
Light irradiation means for irradiating the movable body with a plurality of light beams having different angles over the entire circumference while rotating, light detection means for detecting reflected light of the plurality of light beams, and rotation of the light irradiation means An angle detecting means for detecting an angle, and a recognition for recognizing the reflected light from the retroreflector using effective light reception when at least two reflected lights of the plurality of light beams are received by the light detecting means. Means and the recognizing means store the rotation angle of the light irradiating means detected by the angle detecting means when the light is recognized as being reflected from the retroreflector, and move according to the stored rotation angle. A measuring means for measuring the current position of the body is provided.
[0014]
With the above configuration, when at least two or more reflected lights are detected by the light detection means, the light detection means recognizes the reflected light from the retroreflector using effective light reception and rotates the light irradiation means detected by the angle detection means. By storing the angle, the arrangement angle of each retroreflector centered on the rotation center of the light irradiation means is detected, and the current position of the mobile body is measured from the position of each retroreflector centered on these mobile bodies.
