この発明は、封印装置及び封印部材に係わり、特に、タクシーメータ等の封印を行うための封印装置及びその封印装置に用いられる封印部材に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、上述した封印装置として、図8乃至図10に示すタクシーメータが提案されている。図8は、タクシーの料金演算を行うための制御基板等を搭載したタクシーメータ(=対象機器)を収納するメータケース100(=筐体)の部分斜視図である。同図に示すように、メータケース100は、開口部101が形成されている。この開口部101の内周壁には凸部102が突設されている。

また図9は、上記メータケース100を封印する封印部材200の斜視図である。同図に示すように、封印部材200は、弾性部材からなり、メータケース100の開口部101に突設された凸部102と係合する凹部201が、その外周面に沿って形成されている。そして、この封印部材200は、図10に示すように、メータケース100の凸部102に凹部201を係合させることで、メータケース100の開口部101に取着されるように構成されている。

上記課題を解決するためになされた請求項1記載の発明は、対象機器を内面上に搭載して収容する筐体と、前記対象機器と対向して前記筐体に設けられた開口部を覆う被破壊部、該被破壊部に連接されて前記開口部を通して該筐体内に挿入される係合部及び該係合部に設けられて前記筐体の開口部内周と係合する係合手段を有する封印部材とを備えた封印装置であって、前記被破壊部が、前記係合手段と係合する前記筐体の開口部内周側の端部から前記係合手段の係合解除方向に沿って延在して設けられ、かつ前記係合部を挟んで設けられた左右脆弱部を有していることを特徴とする封印装置に存する。
