【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、第１の従来例では、フロントガラス１０に孔４２を穿設しなければならず、加工費用が高く、またネジ止めする際や取付け後の接触の衝撃等により、その孔４２からフロントガラスにクラックを生じ割れてしまうことがあった。

また、第２の従来例では、フロントガラス１０の前面部と上部とを覆うガラスカバー２０を鋼板製のハンドレール４４に固定することにより、フロントガラス１０を固定する方法であるので、ネジ止めの位置からフロントガラス１０の上部まで距離が遠く、前後に動き甚だ不安定で、顧客が購入商品を収容するバスケットをガラス上面カバー１１に載置した場合、その重量で揺らぐこともあり、取付強度上問題があった。さらに、板厚の薄いハンドレール４４に固定しているので、徐々にネジ４３の締付け強度が弱くなり、遂には外れてしまうことさえあった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明のショーケースは、本体を構成する断熱壁と、この断熱壁の前壁の上部に設けられたハンドレールと、このハンドレールの溝に立設するガラスとを設けたものであって、このガラスの両端に位置し、このガラスの前面の一部と前記ハンドレールの一部とを覆うガラスカバーと、このガラスカバーを固定する固定具とを設け、前記ガラスカバー、前記ハンドレールおよび前記固定具を係合させる係合孔をそれぞれ設けるとともに、前記固定具は、前記ガラスの後面下部を前後から挟持するフランジを有するものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。図１は本発明を適用したショーケースの斜視図、図２は本発明のショーケースの要部斜視図、図３は本発明のショーケースの要部断面図、図４はハンドレールと左右の固定具を示す斜視図を示している。尚、従来例と構成的に同一又は相当する部分には同一番号を付す。

図１において、上面に商品取出用の開口部２を有する本体ケース１は、断熱壁で構成される図示しない外箱と、この外箱と間隔を存して配置された仕切板３との間に冷気循環通路を形成しているとともに、仕切板３の内方に庫内４を形成している。冷気循環路は前記開口部２の後方に位置する部分に吹出口５を形成するとともに、前方に位置する部分に図示しない吸込口を形成しており、内部に送風機および冷却器等を配置して、開口部２にはエアカーテンを形成している。庫内４の底部には、図示しないワイヤラック上に、図示しない商品を載置するデッキパンを配置している。また、外箱の両側面には、内面材と外面材間にポリウレタン等の断熱材を発泡充填することにより構成された側板７が設けられている。
