[Field of the Invention]
The present invention relates to anti-counterfeit paper such as securities, and in particular, relates to a forgery-preventing paper with a thread exposure window in which threads are intermittently exposed from the window portion of the paper to the front side, and a method for manufacturing the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
With the recent improvement in accuracy of color copying machines, it has become a social problem to forge securities and the like using the copying machines. Conventionally, as one means for preventing this, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-311800 discloses anti-counterfeit paper using threads.
[0003]
This anti-counterfeit paper is composed of two or more paper layers, the outermost paper layer has a window, and the iris color between the outermost paper layer and the lower paper layer. A slender thread is inserted, and the thread is exposed to the window.
[0004]
The manufacturing method is as follows. The thread is manufactured first. This thread is obtained, for example, by applying a colored liquid such as a pearl pigment on a synthetic resin film to obtain a hologram layer, further coating a binder on the hologram layer, and then forming a strip using a slitter or the like To do. Its appearance is a hologram, and it has an iris color luster. This binder is necessary for adhesion to the paper layer.
[0005]
Next, in the first tank of the two-tank structure paper machine, the upper net of the circular cylinder is crafted to close the part of the mesh corresponding to the paper window. This work is performed by partially applying a resin to the upper net, bonding a resin plate having a predetermined shape, or bonding a metal plate. In the second tank, use a net on a circular cylinder without any work.
[0006]
The paper layer (wet paper) formed in the first tank is transferred to a blanket, and the paper layer formed in the second tank is overlaid and laminated. At this time, the thread is drawn out and inserted so as to be positioned between the paper layer formed in the first tank and the paper layer formed in the second tank, and located in the window portion.
[0007]
The web thus formed is dried by applying heat in a drying zone of a paper machine such as a cylinder dryer or a Yankee dryer. Since the paper web contains a large amount of moisture at the beginning of drying, the hot water-soluble binder applied to the coating layer of the thread swells, and a part of the binder dissolves, firmly adhering to the paper layer. To do. Then, in order to impart surface smoothness to the paper, machine calendar processing and super calendar processing are appropriately performed and completed.
[0008]
When the forgery-preventing paper is copied by a color copying machine, the copy is copied as a color with completely different iris glossiness of the thread, so that forgery can be prevented.
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, since the forgery-preventing paper is based on an integrated manufacturing method in which a thread is inserted between the paper layers in the wet paper state at the nip between the circular mesh and the coach roll part, the window side surface of the anti-counterfeit paper There is a problem that a coating layer having various functions cannot be provided.
[0010]
For example, if a coating layer of a surface sizing agent for improving printability or printer suitability, a magnetic layer of a magnetic material used for an automatic ticket gate, etc. are provided on the window side surface of the anti-counterfeit paper, The externally added sizing agent and magnetic material adhere to the thread exposed at the portion, and the luster of the thread is impaired. Therefore, the effect of preventing forgery cannot be obtained.
[0011]
As described above, the present invention provides anti-counterfeit paper having a thread in the window, and the anti-counterfeit paper capable of realizing various functions such as printability other than the anti-counterfeit function on the paper. The purpose is to do.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention uses a first sheet and a second sheet made of completed paper, synthetic resin film, etc., and the first sheet is provided with a necessary coating layer on its surface in advance. It is characterized by a structure in which a thread is sandwiched between two sheets and bonded with an adhesive.
[0013]
The anti-counterfeit paper of the present invention can be provided with a coating layer on the surface while maintaining the gloss of the thread by appropriately selecting the first sheet or the second sheet having a necessary coating layer in advance. Various functions such as printability can be realized.
[0014]
Here, the coating layer includes all known coatings. Some of them are listed as follows: coating layer of printing paper, magnetic layer of prepaid card, color former layer of pressure-sensitive recording paper, heat-sensitive recording layer of heat-sensitive recording paper, heat-insulating layer of heat-sensitive transfer paper, and function Although it is auxiliary in nature, there are a concealing layer, a protective layer, a waterproof layer, a drying accelerating layer and the like, and a multilayer coat obtained by laminating these several kinds of coat layers is also included in the coating layer referred to here.
[0015]
According to the present invention, for example, the first sheet can be formed by punching a synthetic resin sheet having a multilayer coating of a protective layer and a magnetic layer and providing a window. Thus, it is possible to obtain an anti-counterfeit paper using a synthetic resin sheet that cannot be realized with the conventional anti-counterfeit paper.
[0016]
The forgery preventing paper of the present invention, the first sheet is no problem a watermarked paper.
[0017]
Here, the watermark includes all known watermarks, for example, a watermark, a chemical watermark, a press mark, and the like.
[0018]
By using a watermark together with the thread, the effect of preventing forgery can be further enhanced. Furthermore, if the thread extending under the watermark portion, that is, the white transparent portion in the white watermark is arranged so as to protrude, the confirmation of the watermark can be facilitated.
[0019]
The anti-falsification paper according to the present invention, can be provided with a coating layer on the outer surface of the second sheet.
[0020]
According to the present invention, functions other than forgery prevention can also be exhibited in the second sheet.
[0021]
The anti-counterfeit paper according to the present invention can be configured such that the second sheet is a watermarked paper.
[0022]
According to the present invention, it is possible to enhance the effect of preventing forgery by using a watermark also in the second sheet.
[0023]
The anti-counterfeit paper according to the present invention includes a first sheet provided with a window, a glossy thread disposed on the back surface of the first sheet provided with the window, and a second sheet disposed on the back surface of the thread. The second sheet is a composite sheet in which a paper having a window portion provided on the outer surface of a transparent film is bonded with an adhesive, and the first sheet, the thread, and the second sheet are bonded together with an adhesive. The thread is exposed to the window portion of the first sheet, and the thread is disposed in the window portion of the second sheet so as to be visible through the transparent film.
[0024]
According to the present invention, the thread is exposed in the window portion of the first sheet, and the thread is visible through the transparent film in the window portion of the second sheet. Can be achieved.
[0025]
This type of anti-counterfeit paper includes a first sheet provided with a window, a glossy thread disposed on the back surface of the first sheet provided with the window, and a second sheet disposed on the back surface of the thread. Each is supplied from a take-up roll, then an adhesive is applied to the thread side of the second sheet, and then the thread is placed at a position where it is exposed to the window, and the first sheet, the thread and the second sheet are bonded together. Can be manufactured.
[0026]
According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent the adhesive from adhering to the thread surface, and furthermore, the adhesive can be applied only to the surface of the second sheet on the thread side, so that the manufacturing process can be reduced. Manufacturing cost can be reduced.
[0027]
