Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a belt conveyor type stacker of a continuous paper printing apparatus.
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a conventional heat fixing type laser beam printer with a belt conveyor type stacker.
[0003]
When a printing operation start signal is issued to the laser beam printer by a controller that controls the laser beam printer, the photosensitive member 1 starts rotating. The photoreceptor 1 rotates at a speed corresponding to the printing speed of the laser beam printer and continues to rotate until the printing operation is completed.
[0004]
When the photosensitive member 1 starts to rotate, a positive high voltage is applied to the charger 2 to uniformly charge the surface of the photosensitive member 1 with a positive charge.

Character or graphic data converted into a dot image from the controller is issued to the laser beam printer as a laser beam ON / OFF signal, and a portion not irradiated with the laser beam is formed on the surface of the photosensitive member 1. When the laser beam is irradiated, the charge on the photoconductor 1 disappears, and when that portion reaches the front of the developing device 6, the positively charged toner is attracted by static electricity and a toner image is formed on the photoconductor 1.

Here, the operation of the belt conveyor type stacker will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of a belt conveyor type stacker, and FIG. 3 is a block diagram of a control system of the belt conveyor type stacker. The control system of the belt conveyor type stacker includes a microcomputer unit 27 including a CPU, ROM, RAM and the like, a stepping motor control unit 28, a stepping motor 22, a blower control unit 29, and a

When the print data is output from the controller, the paper feeding operation of the printing apparatus is started, and the FEED-P signal is turned ON. When this signal is output, the conveyor belt drive signal BELT DRV-P signal is output from the microcomputer unit 27 to the stepping motor control unit 28. As a result, the stepping motor 22 starts rotating, and the

[0015]
An object of the present invention is to prevent the toner from being melted again after printing, and to reduce the work load for the operator to rearrange the sheets.
[0016]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The above object is achieved by providing means for switching the conveying speed of the belt conveyor provided in the paper discharge unit of the continuous paper printing apparatus based on the length between the folds of the continuous paper.
[0017]
By switching the conveying speed of the conveyor belt, that is, the rotation speed of the stepping motor 22 for each paper length of the paper to be printed, the number of paper pages on the belt conveyor becomes constant, so that the interval between the papers after the printing is finished is changed. Regardless of the paper length, it always becomes an appropriate constant value, so that it is possible to prevent re-melting of toner on the paper after printing and to reduce the work load for the operator to rearrange the paper.
[0018]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Since the configuration of the embodiment showing the present invention is not particularly different from the conventional configuration, the description thereof is omitted. A control method according to the present invention will be described below. According to the paper length information from the paper length detection sensor 16, the number of rotations of the stepping motor 22 that drives the

[0020]
On the other hand, since the paper discharged from the printing apparatus is V / Lx (page / sec), the number of pages of paper on a certain distance on the belt conveyor is
Thus, the number of pages of paper on a certain distance on the belt conveyor can be made constant regardless of the paper length L.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent the toner from being remelted and to align the paper after printing by setting the distance between the paper on the belt conveyor to an appropriate constant distance regardless of the paper length of the paper to be printed. It is possible to improve the work load on the operator.
