本発明は、トイレ室と浴室、又はトイレ室と洗面室とが隣接して配置されたサニタリールームに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来より、サニタリールームとしてのトイレ室で、高齢者や身体の不自由な人を介護するために、予めトイレ室に介護者のためのスペースを十分に確保しておくと介護がしやすくなることは勿論である。

一方、従来において、上記のようにトイレ室のスペースを広くとることなく隣室のスペースを利用して介護ができるように、図３に示すように洗面室４と隣接するトイレ室２に、洗面室４側からもトイレ室２に出入りできるように２枚のドア８，８を取付けて２つの出入口を設け、その出入口から介護者が介護を行えるようにした構造のトイレルームが知られている（例えば、実開平３−１１９１５２号公報参照）。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来の技術で述べたもののうち前者のトイレ室に介護者のスペースを予め確保しておくことは、我が国の土地事情からして、家族が健常者ばかりの場合にはまれであって、例えば、急に家族に身体の不自由な人が出てしまい、トイレ室も狭いというような場合には現状では非常に介護がしにくく、さりとて、これを改善するためには大規模な改築が必要となるという問題点を有していた。

また、後者のトイレ室２に予め２つの出入口を設け、その出入口から介護者が介護を行えるようにした構造のものは、トイレ室２を広くする必要はないものの、特に家族が健常者ばかりのような場合には、出入口が２つもあることから違和感を覚えるともに、プライバシーの問題も発生する。

本発明は、従来の技術の有するこのような問題点に鑑みてなされたもので、トイレ室を予め広くとらなくても、身体の不自由な人がでた際に、簡単な作業で介護できるように改造することができ、且つ普段は健常者にも使い易いトイレ室を有するサニタリールームを提供しようとするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明におけるサニタリールームは、トイレ室と、このトイレ室に隣接する浴室若しくは洗面と、この両室とを隔てる壁面とを備え、上記壁面の一部に両室を連通させる開口を設け、この開口に開口を閉塞する収納棚パネルを設置したことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】

（実施例１）
図１（ａ）において、サニタリールーム１は、防水性のある床５，５、壁６及び天井（図示省略）などから空間が形成され、この空間内部を仕切った壁（間仕切り壁）７によって、便器９を設置したトイレ室２と浴槽１０を設置した浴室３とに区画されており、トイレ室２と浴室３にはそれぞれの室への出入りのためのドア８，８が取付けられている。

隣接するトイレ室２と浴室３とを区画する壁（間仕切り壁）７には、人が出入りできる程度の大きさに形成した開口部７ａを設けてトイレ室２と浴室３とが連通され、この開口部７ａは、収納凹部２０ａを備えた収納棚パネル２０を取付けることにより開口部７ａが閉塞される。
上記収納棚パネル２０は、図２に示すように前面側と背面側との両面にそれぞれ収納凹部２０ａ，２０ａを備えるように形成されるとともに周縁にはフランジ部２０ｂを有し、その外形寸法は前記の開口部７ａと略同等の寸法に形成されており、収納棚パネル２０のフランジ部２０ｂの部分をねじ等の脱着しやすい手段を用いて開口部７ａ内に着脱自在に取付けることによって、図１（ａ）に示すように開口部７ａを閉塞する。収納棚パネル２０は合成樹脂により形成されており、収納棚パネル２０の取付けに際しては、防水テープやシリコンコーキングで開口部７ａの周囲の防水処理が行われる。

一方、壁（間仕切り壁）７の浴室３側に位置する収納棚パネル２０の前面には、収納棚パネル２０を開閉自在に覆う収納扉２１が取付けられる。この収納扉２１は、トイレ室２側に介護者のためのスペースを大きくとるために、浴室３側へ極力寄せて取付けるようにした方がよく、収納扉２１を閉めた状態で浴室３側が防水される構造のものが望ましい。

（実施例２）
図１（ｂ）において、防水性のある床５、壁６及び天井（図示省略）などから空間が形成されドア８が取付けられたトイレ室２内には便器９が設置されている。このトイレ室２に隣接して配置される洗面室４内には、洗面台１１、洗濯機１２が設置されるとともに洗面室４に出入りするためのドア８が取付けられており、トイレ室２と洗面室４とは、中空となった二重式の壁（間仕切り壁）７を介して隣接されている。
この中空となった二重式の壁（間仕切り壁）７の場合には、前記トイレ室２側と洗面室４側との相対する位置に開口部７ａが設けられ、その開口部７ａの周囲には、後述する収納棚パネル２１が取付けられるように開口枠２２が嵌め込まれて、トイレ室２と洗面室４とが連通される。この開口枠２２内には、実施例１と同様に図２に示した前面側と背面側との両面に収納凹部２０ａ，２０ａを備えた収納棚パネル２０を、ねじ等の脱着しやすい手段を用いて着脱自在に取付けることにより、図１（ｂ）に示すように開口部７ａを閉塞する。
また、開口枠２２の洗面室４側には、収納棚パネル２０を開閉自在に覆う収納扉２１が取付けられる。なお、この収納扉２１も実施例１と同様にトイレ室２側に介護者のためのスペースを大きくとるために、洗面室４側へ極力寄せて取付けられる。

上記実施例１及び実施例２で説明した壁（間仕切り壁）７の開口部７ａを閉塞して着脱自在に取付けられた収納棚パネル２０の部分は、家族が健常者ばかりの場合はトイレ室２側からは収納として、浴室３側又は洗面室４側からは扉付きの収納として使用され、家族に身体の不自由な人がでた場合には、収納棚パネル２０を簡単な作業で取外すことにより、収納扉２１を利用して浴室３側又洗面室４側から介護者がトイレ室２に入って介護したり、開口部７ａ内のスペースが介護者のためのスペースとして利用される。

なお、本発明におけるサニタリールームは、トイレ室と浴室又は洗面室とが一体のユニット構造のものでも、個々に分割して形成されたトイレ室と浴室又は洗面室とを集合して配置する構造のものであってもよく、さらに、サニタリールームの構築方法としては、在来工法又はユニット工法のいずれにも適用できる。

本発明によるサニタリールームは、トイレ室と、このトイレ室に隣接する浴室若しくは洗面と、この両室とを隔てる壁面とを備え、上記壁面の一部に両室を連通させる開口を設け、この開口に開口を閉塞する収納棚パネルを設置した構成としており、普段家族が健常者ばかりの場合には、トイレ室側からは収納として、又、浴室あるいは洗面室側からは扉付きの収納としてプライバシーを侵害することなく違和感なく使用することができるともに、家族に身体の不自由な人がでた場合においては、収納棚パネルを簡単な作業で取外すことにより介護者のための作業スペースが確保でき、収納扉が介護者の出入口としても使用できるようになる。従って、トイレ室を予め広く取らなくても将来身体の不自由な人がでた際に備えることができ、普段においても違和感なく使用できる。
