SLI=BcosωLOt
SLQ=BsinωLOt
ωLO=2πfLO
SII=SRX・SLI
=AsinωRXt×BcosωLOt
=α{sin(ωRX+ωLO)t+sin(ωRX−ωLO)t}
SIQ=SRX・SLQ
=AsinωRXt×BsinωLOt
=α{−cos(ωRX+ωLO)t+cos(ωRX−ωLO)t}
α=A・B/2
となる。
【0011】
SII=αsin (ωRX−ωLO)t
SIQ=αcos (ωRX−ωLO)t
となる。
【0012】
Sim=Csinωimt
ωim=ωLO+ωIF
ωIF=2πfIF
SII=αsin(ωRX−ωLO)t+βsin(ωim−ωLO)t
SIQ=αcos(ωRX−ωLO)t+βcos(ωim−ωLO)t
β=A・C/2
となる。
【0013】
ωRX<ωLO<ωim
SII=αsin(ωRX−ωLO)t+βsin(ωim−ωLO)t
=−αsin(ωLO−ωRX)t+βsin(ωim−ωLO)t
SIQ=αcos(ωRX−ωLO)t+βcos(ωim−ωLO)t
=αcos(ωLO−ωRX)t+βcos(ωim−ωLO)t
となる。
【0014】
SIF=SII+SIQ
=−αsin(ωLO−ωRX)t+βsin(ωim−ωLO)t
−αsin(ωLO−ωRX)t−βsin(ωim−ωLO)t
=−2αsin(ωLO−ωRX)t
2fLO=N×18〔kHz〕
fRX=fLO−fIF
fIF=45kHz
fRX=N×9−45〔kHz〕
となる。
【0033】
2fLO=N×100 〔kHz〕
fRX=fLO+fIF
fIF=150 kHz
fRX=N×50+150 〔kHz〕
となる。
【0039】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
This inventionFM / AMThe present invention relates to a receiver IC.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, according to the technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 1-273432, a super heterodyne FM / AM receiver can be made into a single chip IC.
[0003]
4 and 5 show an example of such an IC and a receiver. In this example, the FM intermediate frequency is 150 kHz and the AM intermediate frequency is 45 kHz, and the portion surrounded by a chain line is IC10. As a single chip, components or circuits outside the chain line are externally attached to the

Is selected and retrieved. In the subsequent signal processing, since only the relative amplitude and phase of each signal are related, the initial phase of each signal is omitted in the above equation and the following description.
[0007]
The signal SRX is supplied to the first and second mixer circuits 12I and 12Q through the
[0008]
Also,
Then, in the
[0009]
Then, the signal SLO is supplied to the frequency dividing circuits 22I and 22Q through the
SLI = BcosωLOt
SLQ = BsinωLOt
ωLO = 2πfLO
These signals SLI and SLQ are supplied to the mixer circuits 12I and 12Q as local oscillation signals, respectively.
[0010]
Therefore, the output signals SII and SIQ of the mixer circuits 12I and 12Q are
SII = SRX ・ SLI
= AsinωRXt × BcosωLOt
= Α {sin (ωRX + ωLO) t + sin (ωRX−ωLO) t}
SIQ = SRX / SLQ
= AsinωRXt × BsinωLOt
= Α {−cos (ωRX + ωLO) t + cos (ωRX−ωLO) t}
α = A ・ B / 2
It becomes.
[0011]
As will be described later, the signal component of the angular frequency (ωRX + ωLO) is removed from these signals SII and SIQ, and the signal component of the angular frequency (ωRX−ωLO) is used as an intermediate frequency signal. If the signal component of the angular frequency (ωRX + ωLO) in the above equation is ignored, the above equation is
SII = αsin (ωRX−ωLO) t
SIQ = αcos (ωRX−ωLO) t
It becomes.
[0012]
At this time, the image signal Sim is
Sim = Csinωimt
ωim = ωLO + ωIF
ωIF = 2πfIF
Therefore, if the image signal Sim is included in the received signal SRX from the
SII = αsin (ωRX−ωLO) t + βsin (ωim−ωLO)t
SIQ = αcos (ωRX−ωLO) t + βcos (ωim−ωLO) t
β = A · C / 2
It becomes.
[0013]
And at this time,
ωRX <ωLO <ωim
Therefore, the above formula is
SII = αsin (ωRX−ωLO) t + βsin (ωim−ωLO)t
= -Αsin (ωLO-ωRX) t + βsin (ωim-ωLO)t
SIQ = αcos (ωRX−ωLO) t + βcos (ωim−ωLO) t
= Αcos (ωLO−ωRX) t + βcos (ωim−ωLO) t
It becomes.
[0014]
These signals SII and SIQ are supplied to the phase shift circuits 13I and 13Q. The phase shift circuits 13I and 13Q are constituted by, for example, active filters using capacitors, resistors, and operational amplifiers. The phase shift circuit 13I shifts the signal SII by the value φ, and the phase shift circuit 13Q receives the signal SIQ. The phase is shifted by the value (φ + 90 °). By this phase shift, the two input signals SII and SIQ are shifted in a phase difference of 90 ° ± 1 ° in the required intermediate frequency band. To do.
[0015]
Thus, the phase shift circuits 13I and 13Q advance the signal SIQ by 90 ° relative to the signal SII, and the signals SII and SIQ are
It is said.
[0016]
Then, these signals SII and SIQ are supplied to and added to the
SIF = SII + SIQ
= -Αsin (ωLO-ωRX) t + βsin (ωim-ωLO)t
-Αsin (ωLO-ωRX) t-βsin (ωim-ωLO) t
= -2αsin (ωLO-ωRX) t
The signal SIF indicated by is taken out.
[0017]
Here, in the above formula,
Therefore, the signal SIF is an intermediate frequency signal of the intended reception signal SRX. Even if the received signal SRX from the

The tuning method may be either an analog tuning method (FIGS. 4 and 5) in which tuning is performed by a variable capacitor or a synthesizer method (FIG. 3).
[0046]
According to such a configuration, during FM reception and AM reception, when not synchronized with the broadcast wave signal SRX, the voltage V26 = 0 and the transistor Q65 is off, so that the LED (Q65) is turned off. However, when synchronized with the broadcast wave signal SRX, the transistor V65 is turned on by the voltage V26, so that the LED (D65) is lit. Therefore, it is possible to know whether the LED (Q65) is in sync with broadcasting from the lighting state.

In the case of the synthesizer system (FIG. 6), if the collector output of the transistor Q65 is supplied to the

However, when the
[0050]
That is, in general, in the case of an analog tuning receiver, the LED is initially turned off, but as the tuning knob is turned, the LED gradually becomes brighter, reaches the maximum brightness at the positive tuning point, and then gradually becomes darker. To go. Therefore, the frequency range in which the LED is lit is wide, and in that frequency range, the rotation angle of the tuning knob and the brightness of the LED correspond to each other, so that the tuning operation is easy.
[0051]
However, when the
[0052]
In this case, in the case of the characteristic shown in FIG. 8D, when the tuning knob is turned in the direction in which the intermediate frequency fIF is increased, for example, even if the tuning knob is turned, the LED (D65) is lit at all in the interval fIF <f0−Δf Without turning to the position of fIF = f0−Δf, the LED (D65) suddenly lights up, and then the brightness of the LED (D65) becomes maximum at the positive tuning point f0. Then, when it is turned to the position of fIF = f0 + Δf, the LED (D65) is suddenly turned off.
[0053]
Therefore, the frequency range in which the LED (D65) is lit (the range of f0 ± Δf) is narrow, and the tuning state is not known at all outside this range, so that the tuning operation becomes difficult.
[0054]
Of course, if only the voltage VAM is supplied to the transistor Q65 and the tuning display is performed without using the voltage V25, it becomes the same as the general tuning display, so the difficulty of tuning operation is eliminated.
[0055]
However, in that case, when the collector output of the transistor Q65 is supplied to the
[0056]
The present invention is intended to solve the above problems.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
FIGS. 1 and 2 show an example of the present invention divided into two parts for convenience of paper, and the right side of FIG. 1 is connected to the left side of FIG. 1 and 2, the

[0061]
Further, the resistor R81 and the capacitor C81 provided externally through the terminal T15 constitute a low-pass filter 81, and the demodulated output of the
[0062]
This voltage VFM is supplied to the base of the transistor Q81. This transistor Q81, together with the transistor Q82, constitutes a
[0063]
In this case, the transistor Q83 becomes the input side of the current mirror circuit 83.RuThe transistor Q83 is supplied from the voltage source V83 with a bias voltage V83 of 0V when receiving FM and 1.25V when receiving AM, and the base of the transistor Q82 is supplied with, for example, a voltage from the voltage source V82.V FMA bias voltage equal to the center voltage of 1.25V, ie, a bias voltage of 1.25V is supplied.
[0064]
The collectors of the transistors Q81 and Q82 are connected to diode-connected transistors Q85 and Q86 and resistors R85 and R86, for example, a voltage source of 1.65V.V 85And the collectors of the transistors Q81 and Q82 are connected to the base of the transistor Q89 through transistors Q87 and Q88 as emitter followers. The transistor Q89 is grounded at the emitter, and its collector is connected to the collectors of the transistors Q72 and Q73.
[0065]
Further, a
[0066]
Transistors Q95 and Q96 are provided, their bases are connected to the voltage source V83, their emitters are connected to the terminal T14 through the resistor R91, and their collectors are connected to the collectors of the transistors Q81 and Q82. The In this case, when the
[0067]
Further, the potential of the terminal T14 is supplied to the base of the grounded emitter transistor Q98 through the grounded transistor Q97, and the collector of the transistor Q98 is connected to the emitter of the transistor Q93.
[0068]
According to such a configuration, the current flowing through the LED (D65) changes as described below.
[0069]
1 When terminal T14 is grounded
This is a case where the
[0070]
1-1 When receiving AM
At the time of AM reception, since V93 = 0V, the transistor Q93 is off, and thus the transistor Q94 is off, so that the transistors Q91 and Q92 are off.
[0071]
However, at the time of AM reception, since V83 = 1.25V, the transistors Q95 and Q96 are always turned on regardless of the tuned state / detuned state, so that the transistors Q85 and Q86 are always turned on. Will always be on.
[0072]
Then, the emitter potential of the transistors Q85 and Q86 is the voltage sourceV 85Since the emitter potential of the transistors Q87 and Q88 is lower than the emitter potential of the transistors Q85 and Q86 by the base-emitter voltage, the transistor Q87 is lower than the voltage of the transistor Q = 1 (= 1.65V). , Q88 has an emitter potential of, for example, 0.3 V, and the transistor Q89 is always off.
[0073]
Therefore, when the current IAM obtained by voltage / current conversion of the voltage VAM (FIG. 8C) is output from the
[0074]
1-2 When receiving FM
During FM reception, since V83 = 0V, the transistors Q95 and Q96 are turned off. However, during FM reception, since V93 = 1.25V, the transistors Q93 and Q94 operate effectively as the

Therefore, in the
[0076]
Therefore, as in the AM reception, the transistor Q89 is always turned off regardless of the tuning state / detuning state, so that the current IAM from the
[0077]
2 When terminal T14 is opened
This is a case where the
[0078]
2-1 When receiving AM
When used in a synthesizer type FM / AM receiver, the terminal T14 is open, so that the transistors Q95 and Q96 are always off regardless of the tuning state or the detuning state.
[0079]
At the time of AM reception, V93 = 0, thereby turning off the transistor Q93, so that the transistor Q94 is also turned off, and thus the transistors Q91 and Q92 are also turned off. Further, at the time of AM reception, V83 = 1.25V, which turns on the transistor Q83 and the transistor Q84 acts as a constant current source, so that the
[0080]
In this case, as shown in FIG. 8A, the base of the transistor Q81 is supplied with a voltage VFM changing in an S-shape or N-shape, and the base of the transistor Q82 is supplied with the voltage V82. When detuned (when the intermediate frequency fIF is more than ± Δf away from the frequency f0), | VFM |> V82 + VTH, and one of the transistors Q81 and Q82 is turned on and the other is turned off according to the voltage VFM. become.
[0081]
If either of the transistors Q81 and Q82 is turned off, the transistor Q85 or Q86 is turned off correspondingly, so that the base potential of the transistor Q87 or Q88 is almost equal to the voltage by the resistor R85 or R86.V 85It becomes. Therefore, the emitter potentials of the transistors Q87 and Q88 are lower than the base potential by the base-emitter voltage, and the transistor Q89 is turned on.
[0082]
As a result, in the detuned state, the current IAM from the
[0083]
However, in the tuning state (when intermediate frequency fIF is within ± Δf from frequency f0), | VFM | ≦ V82 + VTH, transistors Q81 and Q82 are both turned on, and transistors Q85 and Q86 are both turned on. Therefore, since the transistor Q89 is turned off as described above, the current IAM flows through the LED (D65), and the LED (D65) is lit.
[0084]
In this case, the current IAM flowing through the terminal T12 has a characteristic indicated by a solid line in FIG. 8D.
[0085]
2-2 When receiving FM
Since the terminal T14 is open, the transistors Q95 and Q96 are always turned off regardless of the tuning state / detuning state even during FM reception. Further, the transistor Q97 is always off, and the transistor Q98 is always off.
[0086]
When FM is received, V83 = 0V and V93 = 1.25V, so that the transistors Q81 and Q82 are turned off and the transistors Q91 and Q92 are enabled. Therefore, when AM is received, only the positions of the transistors Q81 and Q82 and the transistors Q91 and Q92 are switched, and the same operation as that during AM reception is performed. The current IAM flowing through the terminal T12 is shown in FIG. The characteristics indicated by the solid line in FIG.
[0087]
However, at the time of FM reception, the operating point of the transistors Q91 and Q92 is set differently from the operating point of the transistors Q81 and Q82 at the time of AM reception so that the voltage VTH at the time of FM reception is higher than the voltage VTH at the time of AM reception. And the frequency range ± Δf is widened.
[0088]
Thus, according to this IC10, when used in an analog tuning FM / AM receiver using a variable capacitor, the terminal T14 is connected to the ground pattern of the printed circuit board, so that the LED (D65) Since the current IAM flows with the characteristics shown by the broken line in FIG. 8, the feeling of the tuning operation is improved and the tuning operation is facilitated.
[0089]
When the
[0090]
FIG. 3 shows an example of measurement of the characteristics shown in FIG. 8D, that is, the relationship between the current IAM flowing through the terminal T12 during AM reception and the intermediate frequency fIF (reception frequency fRX), and when the broken line grounds the terminal T14, A solid line indicates a case where the terminal T14 is opened.
[0091]
As apparent from this measurement result, the range of the reception frequency of the current IAM flowing through the terminal T12 can be limited by grounding or opening the terminal T12.
[0092]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, when used in an analog tuning type FM / AM receiver using a variable capacitor, the feeling of tuning operation is improved and the tuning operation is facilitated. Also, when used in a synthesizer FM / AM receiver, for example, when performing automatic stop during scanning, even if there is a broadcasting station with a high reception level, automatic stop can be performed at the correct frequency.
