第1の従来例(たとえば特開平6-251611号公報) は、器具本体の丸穴部に支承体を差込み、引掛シーリングの引掛金具に支承体のフランジ部を係止して引掛シーリングに器具本体を取付けるものであった。
第2の従来例(たとえば実開平6-58514 号公報) は、引掛シーリングに引っ掛ける引掛爪を有する引掛シーリングキャップに通電メス金具を設け、通電メス金具に接触する通電オス金具を有して引掛シーリングキャップに嵌着するシーリング受け部材を器具本体に取付けているものであった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
第1の従来例は、照明器具を天井に取付ける場合、支承体と器具本体とを持って移動しなければならず、高所で取付作業をするとき片手では両者を持ちにくく、また両方の手に持つと不安定で危険であった。また器具本体の丸穴部に支承体を差し込むための位置合わせ等の作業が必要で高所作業では危険であった。さらに器具本体と支承体が別部品のため、器具の清掃等による取外しおよび取付けにおいて紛失のおそれがあった。

この発明の第1の実施の形態を図1ないし図3により説明する。すなわち、この照明器具は、器具本体1と、取付基体12とを有する。
