本発明はマウスに関し、手書き入力の際、正確に早く入力のできるものとしたマウスに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来のマウスは、位置検出機構として回転式マウスボールや光学センサーの手段により、カーソル移動や手書き入力等を行っていた。
これら回転式マウスボールや光学センサーの取り付け位置はマウス底面ほぼ中央に設けられ手首を支点に手のひらでマウス全体を包み込むように握り、操作するものであった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、ペイントなどのソフトで字や絵を書いたり、漢字辞典で手書き入力する際等は、手のひら全体で底面部のマウスボール等の位置検出機構を操作することになり、非常に汚い字や絵しか書けなかった。また早く入力するのは難しかった。
一方でペン入力の形を取れば、綺麗な文字等を書くことが出来るが、ペン入力では特殊なパネルやタブレットまたはパッド等が必要となる欠点があった。
本発明の目的は、これら従来のマウスの課題を解決することにある。

後部端面位置検出機構(7)、側面部左クリックボタン(5)、側面部右クリックボタン(6)並びに底面位置検出機構及び後部端面位置検出機構入力切替スイッチ(4)を予めマウス本体(1)に設けておく。
本発明は、以上のような構成からなるマウスである。

本発明は以上の構成であるから、手書き入力時にマウス自体をあたかもペンのように握り操作できる。

以下、本発明の実施例を図1及び図2で説明するが、これによって本発明は限定されるものではない。
マウス本体(1)には従来通り底面部分に回転式マウスボール又は光学センサーからなる位置検出機構、左クリックボタン(2)、右クリックボタン(3)が設けられている。
そしてこれらとは別に、ペン先となるマウス本体(1)の後部端面に回転式マウスボール又は光学センサーからなる別の位置検出機構(7)、人指し指の当たる部分に側面部左クリックボタン(5)、中指の当たる部分に側面部右クリックボタン(6)が更に設けられている。この時、親指はマウス天面(8)に沿うようにマウスをあたかも図2のようにペンを握りしめる形とするのである。
なお、本実施例では底面位置検出機構及び後部端面位置検出機構の入力を切り替えるスイッチ(4)は左クリックボタン(2)及び右クリックボタン(3)の間に設けられている。

【発明の効果】
本発明のマウスは以上のような構造であるため、手書き入力等を行う時、マウス後部端面位置検出機構(7)をペン先、側面部左クリックボタン(5)に人指し指、側面部右クリックボタン(6)に中指がそれぞれ当たるようにし、マウス天面(8)には親指が沿うようにしてマウス本体(1)自体をあたかもペンのように握るため、ペン入力とほぼ同じ形で該後部端面位置検出機構(7)を操作する事が出来る。
この事により、ペイント、HP作成、礼状作成等の手書き入力を行う際の字や絵等も正確に早く書けるようになる。
又、ペン入力に必要な専用のパネルやタブレット、パッド等が必要なくなる。更にコンピュータ初心者やPC教育関連で最初に覚えるマウス操作を簡便に行うことが出来る。
なお、本発明に用いられるマウス本体(1)の形状、デザイン、材質等はマウス本来の機能を保つものであれば、ペンのように握った際、握りやすいように、例えばマウス本体(1)の厚みを薄くしたり、親指の沿う位置に若干の凹みを作るなどしても良く、特に限定されるものではない。
又、後部端面位置検出機構(7)、側面部左クリックボタン(5)、側面部右クリックボタン(6)、底面部位置検出機構及び後部端面位置検出機構入力切替スイッチ(4)等の設けられる位置、大きさ、形状、材質、構造等も、例えば左利き用のマウスであれば側面部左クリックボタン(5)及び側面部右クリックボタン(6)を右利き用と反対の側面に設けても良いように、なんら限定されるものではない。
