BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a lens apparatus and a lens operation unit, and particularly to either an endless incompatible lens operation unit having an operation member with a limited movement range or an endless lens operation unit having an operation member with no movement range. The present invention also relates to a lens device that can handle both a lens device that can handle both a lens device that does not support endlessness and a lens device that does not support endlessness.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a lens apparatus used for a broadcast television camera, as a method for controlling the position of a focus lens, a servo motor is driven by position command data from a lens operation unit such as a focus position demand unit, and the focus lens is driven by the driving force. A servo system for driving is known.
[0003]
In this type of lens operation unit, the range of movement of an operation member such as a focus knob is usually limited (for example, a range of 0 ° to 720 °), and from the closest end in proportion to the rotation position of the operation member. The position command data up to infinity is output. Hereinafter, the lens operation unit is referred to as an endless incompatible lens operation unit, and a lens device corresponding to the lens operation unit is referred to as an endless incompatible lens device.
[0004]
On the other hand, in recent years, a lens operation unit has been proposed in which there is no restriction on the movement range of the operation member. The lens operation unit outputs a number of pulse signals proportional to the amount of movement (rotation amount) of the operation member to the lens device, and the lens device counts the pulse signals and generates position command data from the counted value. is doing. Hereinafter, the lens operation unit is referred to as an endless lens operation unit, and the lens device corresponding to the lens operation unit is referred to as an endless lens device.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, the conventional lens apparatus has an endless lens operation unit that outputs position command data corresponding one-to-one with the operation position of the operation member, and an endless output unit that outputs data corresponding to the relative movement amount of the operation member. There was a problem that both of the corresponding lens operation units could not be used.
[0006]
Similarly, the conventional lens operation unit has a problem that it cannot be used for both an endless lens device and an endless lens device.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and provides a lens device that can use both an endless lens operation unit and an endless lens operation unit, and an endless lens device. It is another object of the present invention to provide a lens operation unit that can be used for both an endless lens device and an endless lens device.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a lens apparatus according to claim 1 includes a first operation member that is not limited in a movement range, and receives first lens control data corresponding to a movement amount of the first operation member. A first lens operating unit for outputting and a second operating member for which the movement range is limited; An interface that can be selectively connected to the second lens operation unit, a determination unit that determines which of the first or second lens operation unit is connected, and the first lens operation unit is connected If it is determined that it has been set, it is limited not to exceed a predetermined lower limit or upper limit based on the first lens control data input via the interface, and exceeds the lower limit or upper limit. Position command data in which the lower limit value or the upper limit value is maintained with respect to the movement of the first operating member in the direction is generated, the position command data is output to a lens driving means for driving a lens, and the second Control means for outputting the second lens control data input via the interface to the lens driving means as position command data when it is determined that the lens operating unit is connected. It is a feature.
[0009]
The lens device determines which of the first or second lens operation unit is connected, and depends on whether the first lens operation unit is connected or the second lens operation unit is connected. The processing for the input lens control data is changed. That is, when it is determined that the first lens operation unit is connected, the predetermined lower limit value or upper limit value is limited based on the first lens control data, and the lower limit value or upper limit value is set. Position command data that maintains the lower limit value or the upper limit value with respect to the movement of the first operating member in a direction exceeding the position is generated, the position command data is output to a lens driving unit that drives the lens, and the second When it is determined that the lens operation unit is connected, the second lens control data is output as position command data to the lens driving means.
[0010]
According to another aspect of the present invention, the first lens operation unit counts an incremental encoder that outputs a number of pulse signals proportional to the amount of movement of the first operation member, and a pulse signal output from the incremental encoder. And outputs a count value of a predetermined number of bits of the counter as the first lens control data, or the first lens control data corresponding to the amount of movement of the first operating member. It has an absolute encoder for outputting.
[0011]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, when it is determined that the first lens operation unit is connected, the control unit outputs the previous position command data output to the lens driving unit and the first lens. A difference between the first lens control data sequentially sampled from the operation unit, and when the first lens control data overflows, an addition value obtained by adding the difference obtained in consideration of the overflow is obtained. The added value obtained by limiting the added value so as not to exceed the predetermined lower limit value and upper limit value is output to the lens driving means as current position command data. The first lens control data fluctuates in the range from the minimum value (0) to the maximum value of the value of the predetermined number of bits. Therefore, if the first lens control data moves in the plus direction beyond the maximum value, it overflows to 0, When moving in the negative direction beyond 0, it overflows to the maximum value. Therefore, in the case of overflow, when calculating the difference between the first lens control data, the correct difference is obtained in consideration of the overflow. The added value may exceed the lower limit value or upper limit value of the command value indicating the lens movement range. In this case, the added value is limited so as not to exceed the lower limit value or upper limit value.
[0012]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, the first lens operation unit includes an incremental encoder that outputs, as the first lens control data, a number of pulse signals proportional to the amount of movement of the first operation member. When it is determined that the first lens operation unit is connected, the control means outputs the previous position command data output to the lens driving means and the time between the previous processing time and the current processing time. An addition value obtained by adding a count value obtained by counting the pulse signals output from the incremental encoder is obtained, and an addition value obtained by limiting the addition value so as not to exceed the predetermined lower limit value and upper limit value is determined as the current position. The command data is output to the lens driving means.
[0013]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, the discriminating means is type information input from the first or second lens operation unit via the interface, or switching for instructing switching of the first or second lens operation unit. It is characterized in that it is determined which of the first or second lens operation unit is connected based on a switching signal input from the means.
[0014]
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, in a lens operation unit connectable to a lens apparatus, an operation member having no limitation on a movement range, output means for outputting lens control data corresponding to a movement amount of the operation member, and the lens A position that is restricted so as not to exceed a predetermined lower limit value or upper limit value based on the control data, and that the lower limit value or upper limit value is maintained with respect to movement of the operating member in a direction exceeding the lower limit value or upper limit value. And control means for generating command data and outputting the position command data to the lens apparatus.
[0015]
This lens operation unit has no limitation on the movement range of the operation member, and outputs the same position command data as a conventional lens operation unit with a limitation on the movement range of the operation member. Can do.
[0016]
According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, there is provided a first lens device which is the lens device according to any one of the first to fifth aspects, or a second lens device which outputs the input position command data as it is to a lens driving means for driving the lens. In a lens operation unit that can be connected to the lens device, an operation member having no limitation on a movement range, an output unit that outputs lens control data corresponding to a movement amount of the operation member, and the first or second lens device. When it is determined that the first lens apparatus is connected to a determination unit that determines which of the two lenses is connected, the lens control data is output to the first lens apparatus, and the second lens is output. When it is determined that it is connected to the apparatus, the lens control data is limited so as not to exceed the predetermined lower limit value or upper limit value, and the previous direction in which the lower limit value or upper limit value is exceeded is determined. Control means for generating position command data for maintaining the lower limit value or the upper limit value with respect to the movement of the operation member, and outputting the position command data to the second lens device. .
[0017]
This lens operation unit can be used for both the first lens device capable of endlessness and the second lens device not compatible with endlessness. That is, the data to be output is changed depending on whether it is connected to the first lens device or the second lens device, and if it is determined that it is connected to the first lens device, the lens The control data is output to the first lens device. In this case, endless signal processing is performed by the lens apparatus as described in claims 1 to 5. On the other hand, if it is determined that it is connected to the second lens device, it is restricted so as not to exceed a predetermined lower limit value or upper limit value based on the lens control data, and in a direction exceeding the lower limit value or upper limit value. Position command data that maintains the lower limit value or the upper limit value with respect to the movement of the operation member is generated, and the position command data is output to the second lens device.
[0018]
The output means includes an incremental encoder that outputs a number of pulse signals proportional to the amount of movement of the operation member, and a counter that counts the pulse signals output from the incremental encoder, An absolute encoder is provided that outputs a count value of a predetermined number of bits of the counter as the lens control data or outputs the lens control data in accordance with the movement amount of the operation member.
[0019]
According to another aspect of the present invention, when it is determined that the control unit is connected to the second lens device, the control unit determines that the control unit is connected to the second lens device. The difference between the previous position command data output to the lens device and each lens control data sequentially sampled from the output means, and the difference obtained in consideration of the overflow when the lens control data overflows And an addition value obtained by limiting the addition value so as not to exceed the predetermined lower limit value and upper limit value is output to the second lens device as current position command data. It is a feature.
[0020]
The output means includes an incremental encoder that outputs, as the lens control data, a number of pulse signals proportional to the amount of movement of the operation member, and the control means includes the second lens device. If it is determined that it is connected to the previous position command data output to the second lens device, and a pulse signal output from the incremental encoder between the previous processing time and the current processing time An added value obtained by adding the counted value to the second lens device is obtained by using an added value obtained by limiting the added value so as not to exceed the predetermined lower limit value and upper limit value as current position command data. It is characterized by being output to.

In the case of the first process, after demand information is read from the connected digital demand unit (step S16), the process proceeds to step S18, and in the case of the second and subsequent processes, the process of step S16 is performed. Without proceeding to step S18.
[0041]
The demand information is information indicating whether an endless digital demand unit or an endless incompatible digital demand unit. Here, the endless incompatible digital demand unit has a limited movement range of an operating member such as a focus knob that has a limited moving range, and from the closest end corresponding to the moving position of the operating member one-on-one. The one that outputs digital position command data up to infinity. The demand information may be read from a changeover switch for selecting the type of demand unit.
[0042]
In step S18, it is determined whether the demand information is an endless digital demand unit or an endless digital demand unit. If it is an endless digital demand unit, the process proceeds to step S20, and the standard processing shown in FIG. I do. That is, digital control data FCtrl2 indicating the lens position from the closest to infinity input from a digital demand unit that does not support endlessness is read (step S30 in FIG. 4), and is output as it is to the

[0048]
On the other hand, in the case of the second and subsequent processes after the demand unit is connected, the process proceeds to step S53 without going through the processes of steps S50 and S52. In step S53, a difference between MemoFCtrl and the control data FCtrl2 read in step S40 is calculated, and this difference is set as RefFCtrl. In the case of the first power-on or the first demand-unit connection, MemoFCtrl and the control data FCtrl2 read in step S40 match, so the RefFCtrl is 0.
[0049]
Further, when the difference RefFCtrl between MemoFCtrl and FCtrl2 is obtained, if the value of FCtrl2 overflows, the difference RefFCtrl is obtained as follows.
[0050]
That is, no matter how fast the focus knob is rotated, the difference RefFCtrl does not exceed 10,000 within a predetermined sampling period. Therefore, if the difference RefFCtrl exceeds ± 10000, the
[0051]
For example, if the previous FCtrl2 is 16300 and the current FCtrl2 is 115, the difference RefFCtrl is −16185. In this case, it is determined that the overflow has occurred on the plus side,

[Expression 1]
To find the correct difference.
[0053]
When the previous FCtrl2 is 35 and the current FCtrl2 is 16282, the difference is 16247. In this case, it is determined that it has overflowed to the negative side,

[0056]
Subsequently, the control data FCtrl2 read in step S40 is temporarily held as MemoFCtrl for the next calculation of the difference RefFCtrl (step S55).
[0057]
Next, the current position command data FSig2 obtained in step S54 is restricted so as not to exceed the range of the minimum value (0) of the position command data FSig2 to the maximum value (16383) of the position command data FSig2 (step S56). . That is, when the current position command data FSig2 obtained in step S54 is 0 or less, it is limited to 0, and when it is 16383 or more, it is limited to 16383.
[0058]
By repeatedly performing the endless processing (step S22 in FIG. 3) in steps S40 to S56 at a predetermined cycle, position command data FSig2 is generated every moment according to the operation of the focus knob.
[0059]
The position command data FSig2 generated in this way is output to the focus module 30 (step S24 in FIG. 3).
[0060]
FIG. 6 is a flowchart showing a modification of the endless process shown in FIG. Steps that perform the same processing as the processing shown in FIG. 5 are given the same step numbers, and detailed descriptions thereof are omitted.
[0061]
The endless process shown in FIG. 6 differs from the endless process shown in FIG. 5 only in the method of setting the initial lens value at the first power-on. That is, in the endless process shown in FIG. 5, the initial lens initial value when the power is turned on is the position command data FSig2 calculated backward from the lens position data (step S44), but the endless process shown in FIG. Is stored in the nonvolatile memory 53 (see FIG. 2) (step S58), and the initial lens initial value when the power is turned on is the position command data FSig2 read from the

On the other hand, in the case of the second and subsequent processes after the power is turned on, the process proceeds to step S83 without going through the processes of steps S81 and S82.

Thereafter, the processing of step S83 to step S86 is sequentially performed. Since the processing in step S83 to step S86 is similar to the processing of step S53 to step S56 described in FIG. 5, detailed description thereof is omitted.

The position command data FSig1 generated by the standard processing is converted into a voltage signal by a D / A converter (not shown) (step S66 in FIG. 7), and then output to the analog lens device.
[0071]
Returning to FIG. 7, if it is determined in step S62 that the digital lens apparatus is connected, lens information is read from the connected digital lens apparatus (step S68). This lens information is information indicating whether the digital lens device is compatible with endless or not compatible with endless.

Based on the lens information, it is determined whether the digital lens device is compatible with endless or not compatible with endless (step S70). If the digital lens device does not support endlessness, the process proceeds to step S72. In step S72, the standard processing described in FIG. 8 is performed, and the position command data FSig1 generated by this standard processing is output to a digital lens device that does not support endlessness.

Next, the demand process in step S102 will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.
[0093]
As shown in FIG. 14, first, it is determined whether or not the demand unit is the first process after being connected to the lens device 12 (step S110). In the case of the first process, the demand information is read from the connected demand unit (step S112). In the second and subsequent processes, the process proceeds to step S114 without going through the process of step S112. The demand information is information indicating whether an endless demand unit or an endless incompatible demand unit.
[0094]
Next, the control data FCtrlDem is read from the demand unit (step S114).
[0095]
Subsequently, it is determined from the demand information read in step S112 whether it is an endless demand unit or an endless demand unit (step S116). In the case of a demand unit that does not support endlessness, the control data FCtrlDem read in step S114 is directly output to the

In the case of the first process after switching the demand unit, the control data FCtrlDem read in step S114 is temporarily held as MemoFCtrlDem (step S122). Also, endless permission information is transmitted to the demand unit 28 (step S123). This endless permission information is valid information for the
[0098]
On the other hand, in the case of the second and subsequent processes after switching the demand unit, the process proceeds to step S124 without going through the processes of steps S122 and S123. In step S124, a difference between MemoFCtrlDem and the control data FCtrlDem read in step S114 is calculated, and this difference is set as RefFCtrlDem. In the case of the first demand unit switching, since MemoFCtrlDem matches the control data FCtrlDem read in step S114, the RefFCtrlDem is 0.
[0099]
When the difference RefFCtrlDem between MemoFCtrlDem and FCtrlDem is obtained, if the FCtrlDem overflows, the calculation for overflow shown in the above “Equation 1” or “Equation 2” is performed.

Next, the previous position command data FSig2 output to the

Subsequently, the control data FCtrlDem read in step S114 is temporarily held as MemoFCtrlDem for the next calculation of the difference RefFCtrlDem (step S128). Next, the current position command data FSig2 obtained in step S124 is restricted so as not to exceed the range of the minimum value (0) of the position command data FSig2 to the maximum value (16383) of the position command data FSig2 (step S130). .
[0102]
By repeatedly performing the demand processing in steps S110 to S130 (step S102 in FIG. 13) at a predetermined cycle, position command data FSig2 is generated every moment according to the operation of the focus knob.
[0103]
The position command data FSig2 generated in this way is output to the focus module 30 (step S106 in FIG. 13).

Subsequently, it is determined whether or not it is the first process after switching to the operation bar 16 (step S134). In the case of the first process after switching the operation bar, the control data FCtrlManu read in step S132 is temporarily held as MemoFCtrlManu (step S136).
[0108]
On the other hand, in the case of the second and subsequent processes after the operation bar switching, the process proceeds to step S138 without going through the process of step S136.
[0109]
Note that the processing from step S138 to step S144 is the same as the processing from step S124 to step S130 described in FIG. However, in step S138, the difference between MemoFCtrlManu and FCtrlManu is set as RefFCtrlManu.
