Description
【0001】
【0011】
テンションメンバ21には、鋼線または繊維強化プラスチック(FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plastic))等が用いられる。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an optical fiber cable and a cord used for advanced information communication in a building or a home.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, construction of optical subscriber line networks has progressed, and optical cables and optical cords have been used on the floors of office buildings. In this case, in-house wiring, each floor in the building was vertically connected by a trunk-side cable, terminated in a cabinet on each floor, and connected to a floor wiring cable (indoor cable) in the cabinet. Then, this floor wiring cable is connected to an optical cord with a one-end connector in an optical rosette and connected to an optical terminal device such as an ONU (Optical Network Unit) or a media converter.
[0003]
In order to realize the concept (FTTD (Fiber To The Desktop)) of laying optical cables on the floors of office buildings as described above and bringing optical fibers to the vicinity of each person's personal computer Requires a large number of wiring members, that is, a wide variety of cables and connection cabinets for connecting them. However, in different office buildings of various shapes, there are various restrictions and restrictions when laying optical cables, so it is not appropriate to implement wiring with the same product configuration.
[0004]
In particular, the optical cord with one end connector is fusion-bonded to the floor wiring cable in the optical rosette. Therefore, wiring work such as fusion work was necessary. The reason for using this optical rosette is mainly conversion to a connector, for the purpose of protecting the connecting portion and storing the extra length. Because of the purpose of storing this extra length, there was a limit to downsizing the rosette. On the other hand, the optical cord with a one-end connector coming out of the rosette cannot be used in a long length because the side pressure characteristic is inferior to the floor wiring cable. For this reason, an optical rosette has to be installed around each person's desk, which is not always satisfactory in terms of installation location and installation method.
[0005]
It is conceivable to attach a connector directly to the floor wiring cable as a method for solving such a problem. However, the floor wiring cable has a structure including a steel wire tension member, so that the bending rigidity is large. Trouble with handling.
[0006]
In addition, in order to realize the concept (FTTH (Fiber To The Home)) of drawing an optical fiber to each household in order to advance informationalization of ordinary households, the necessity of solving the above-mentioned problems is increasing. .
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention relates to an indoor optical fiber cable that has a reinforcing cable attached to the end of an indoor cable suitable for floor wiring and is attached with a connector, and can be connected to equipment without fusion connection as a cord that is easy to handle around the equipment. The purpose is to provide.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present inventors have developed a cable in which a portion having a high bending rigidity corresponding to a floor wiring and a portion having a low bending rigidity suitable for wiring in the vicinity of the device are switched at a conversion portion. Thus, the inventors have found that the object can be achieved, and have reached the present invention based on this finding. That is, the object of the present invention is achieved by the following means.
( 1 ) The thermoplastic resin coating is removed from the cable portion made of the core fiber, the tension member, and the thermoplastic resin coating covering these ,
Exposing the core fiber, exposing the tension member to a length that fits in the converter,
A protective tube, a reinforcing fiber disposed on the outer periphery of the protective tube, and the reinforcing tube of the cord portion comprising the reinforcing tube covering the reinforcing fiber are removed by a predetermined length;
Insert the exposed core fiber through a protective tube,
Laminate the protective tube, the tension member, and the reinforcing fiber in this order,
Optical fiber cables you further comprising a conversion unit covered with pipes so as to straddle the reinforcing tube and the thermoplastic coating resin.
( 2 ) The optical fiber cable according to the item (1), wherein the cable portion is formed by directly covering two tension members and a single-core optical fiber with a jacket.
( 3 ) The optical fiber cable according to (1) or (2), wherein the tension member of the cable portion is a galvanized steel wire.
( 4 ) The optical fiber cable according to (1) or (2), wherein the tension member of the cable portion is a fiber reinforced plastic.
( 5 ) The optical fiber cable according to any one of (1) to ( 4 ), wherein the reinforcing fiber of the cord portion is an aramid fiber.
( 6 ) Any one of the items (1) to ( 5 ), wherein the pipe of the conversion unit is a SUS pipe, both ends of the pipe are closed by boots, and members in the pipe are cured by an adhesive. An optical fiber cable according to the item.
( 7 ) The optical fiber cable according to any one of (1) to ( 6 ), wherein the pipe of the conversion part is reinforced by a reinforcing part including a glass semicircular member and a heat shrinkable tube.
( 8 ) The optical fiber cable according to any one of (1) to ( 7 ), wherein a connector is attached to the tip of the cable on the cord side.

Here, the bending stiffness was measured by the hardness (bending stiffness) defined in JIS C6851, paragraph 19. Among the methods stipulated in this, it can be concretely expressed by the following equation based on the result obtained in accordance with the 19.5 method E17C.
Specifically, low bending rigidity preferably means that the hardness (bending rigidity) represented by the above formula is 2 × 10 −4 (N · m 2 ) or less. The bending radius of the cable is 0.03 m, which is the allowable bending radius of the fiber. High bending rigidity means that the hardness (bending rigidity) represented by the above formula is 6 × 10 −4 (N · m 2 ) or more. The bending radius of the cable is 0.03 m, which is the allowable bending radius of the fiber.
The cable portion having a high bending rigidity preferably has a hardness B that is three times or more that of a cord portion having a low bending rigidity.
