【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、一枚の紙素材を折り畳んで方形の空間を形成する紙製の箱に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
上記の紙製の箱は、例えば厚みのある書類や書籍などを郵送したり、書類等と共にフロッピィディスクやビデオテープなどを郵送したりする際の郵送用や、その他ピザパイなどの宅配用などに用いられるもので、一枚の紙素材を複雑にカットして、山折りや谷折りの折り線を形成し、これを巧みに折り畳んで方形の空間を形成し、かつ、紙片を切り目に差し込んだり切り目を互いに噛み合わせたりする係止の手段によって、折り畳み蓋板を閉じ合わせるようにしたものがある。

しかし、かゝる構成の紙製の箱にあっては、紙素材のカットや折り線の形状が複雑である上に、紙素材を工夫してカットし且つ面倒な係止の手間を掛けて蓋板を閉じ合わせるようにしているにも拘らず、これだけでは蓋板が開く不安があって、郵送に耐え得ないことから折り畳み蓋板をテープ止めしているのが現状であって、紙素材の複雑なカットや面倒な係止の手間を掛けることが無駄になっている。

また、箱の側板は、これが一重であっても強度的に強いので問題はないが、押圧力を受けて撓み易い箱の蓋板や底板が一重であることは、例えばフロッピィディスクやビデオテープなどのように、収容対象が壊れ易い物の場合には致命的であり、このことから、紙素材の巧みなカットと折り込みとによって、蓋板を出来るだけ二重にするようにしているが、これは蓋板についてのことであって、底板二重にすることは望むべくもなかったのである。

そして、この蓋板にしても、その全面を殆ど二重に成し得るものではない上に、この蓋板に切り目やその切り目に差し込む紙片を形成することが蓋板の強度低下を伴うもので、文字通り二重の構造強度を有せしめ得るものではなかったのである。

本発明は、折り畳み蓋板に蓋閉じの機能を持たせたところで、最終的には蓋板をテープ止めする必要性があって、紙製の箱に蓋閉じの機能を有せしめることは何ら意味がないことを念頭に置いて成されたものであって、一枚の紙素材に簡単なカットと折り込み線とを形成するだけの簡単な技術によって、蓋板と底板とを殆どと言っても過言でない程に二重の構成と成し得た紙製の箱を、コスト的に安価に提供することを目的としている。

上記の目的を達成するために本発明が講じた技術的手段は、次の通りである。即ち、

発明による紙製の箱は、一枚の紙素材に、直線状の谷折り線に隣り合わせて、箱底板の縁部補強用の紙面部を形成し、前記谷折り線に連ねる状態で補強用紙面部の両側に、この紙面部とほゞ同幅のスリットを形成し、補強用紙面部を挟んで谷折り線とは反対側の紙面部に、一方のスリットの奥隅から補強用紙面部の途中にわたって、前記谷折り線と平行になる切り目を形成すると共に、この切り目の終端から45度の角度で第2の切り目を、かつ、他方のスリットの奥隅から45度の角度で山折り線を、互いに交えるように形成し、谷折り線を挟んで両側の紙面部を谷折り線と山折り線とで折り込んで、この両側の紙面部を互いに90度反転させて重ね合わせ、この重なり合った方形の紙面部を箱底板にして、この箱底板の周辺から張り出した紙面部を、それぞれ箱側板と折り畳み蓋板とを形成するように、二度、谷折りして、方形の空間を形成した点に特徴がある。

上記いずれの発明においても、谷折り線上部の紙面部を、90度反転させながら谷折り線下部の紙面部に重ね合わせることで、谷折り線と山折り線とによる三角形の一重部分が形成されるものの、全面を殆ど二重にした箱底板が形成され、かつ、この箱底板の周辺から張り出した紙面部を、それぞれ二度、谷折りすることで、箱側板と二重の折り畳み蓋板とが形成される。

そして、第発明による紙製の箱にあっては、箱底板の一側縁に補強用の紙面部が折り返し形成されて、箱底板の強度アップが達成されることに加えて、谷折り線と平行になる切り目を補強用紙面部の途中にわたって形成したことで、箱寸法を谷折り線方向で大きくしても、箱底板の三角形の一重部分を面積的に小さくすることができる。

一方、第2発明による紙製の箱にあっては、上下または左右の箱側板が箱端縁よりも控えて形成されることで、折り畳み蓋板の端縁どうしをステイプルの針で止め合わせることが、そのステイプルを控え凹部に差し込むことで容易に行え、しかも、箱側板を控えさせるための控え紙面部が箱端縁の一側縁に折り返し形成されることで、箱底板の強度アップが達成される。
特に、第発明による紙製の箱では、第発明と同様に、箱寸法を谷折り線方向で大きくしても、箱底板の三角形の一重部分を面積的に小さくすることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。図1は紙製の箱を示し、この紙製の箱は、一枚の紙素材を折り畳んで方形の空間を形成して成るものあって、この実施の形態では、箱の天地を逆にした時の二重の箱底板1の表面に郵便番号の記入欄2を印刷し、かつ図2に示すように、例えばフロッピィディスク3の収容袋4を蓋内側面に備えさせて、後は宛て先を筆記したり宛て名シールを貼着したりすることで、書類などと共にフロッピィディスク3を郵送できるように構成している。

上記の紙製の箱は、次のようにして作製されている。即ち、図3に示すように、矩形状に切り出された一枚の厚手の紙素材5に、この紙素材5の下側縁とによって矩形状の第1箱底板1aを設定するように3本の直線状の谷折り線a,b,bを形成し、かつ、谷折り線a上部の紙面部5aの上下の幅寸法Cを、第1箱底板1aの左右の幅寸法Dとほゞ同じに設定している。

但し、紙面部5c,5cの左右の幅寸法や紙面部5e,5jの上下の幅寸法の設定によっては、紙素材5の形状が矩形状にならないことがある。

尚、上記した夫々の実施の形態では、紙素材5の上下中間部に左右方向の谷折り線aを形成して、この谷折り線aの上部側に三角紙面部5dを形成する態様について説明したが、このように紙製の箱Aに方向性を持たせたことは便宜上のことであって、谷折り線aの下部側に三角紙面部5dを形成したり、紙素材5の左右中間部に上下方向の谷折り線aを形成して、この谷折り線aの左右いずれかに三角紙面部5dを形成したりし、かつ、所定の紙面部に、スリット9や切り目c,d,m、谷折り線a,b,f,h,i,j、山折り線eを形成することで、各種態様の紙製の箱を所定の方向性を持たせて作製することができる。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、第1及び第2発明の何れにおいても、最終的には従来と同じように、折り畳み蓋板をテープやステイプルの針で止める必要があるものの、一枚の紙素材に簡単なカットと折り込み線とを形成して、これを折り畳むだけの簡単な技術によって、一部に三角形の一重部分が形成されるものの、箱底板と折り畳み蓋板とが二重になった堅牢な紙製の箱を、コスト的に安価に提供することができる。
