Description
【0001】

【0009】
(B)DVD-Audio

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an audio reproduction method for a storage medium, and more particularly to an audio reproduction method for a storage medium in which a large number of audio packs are recorded for each track and text information packs are discretely recorded between the audio packs.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Currently, the DVD-Audio standard includes information such as “still picture information”, “moving picture information”, and “text information”. Among them, “text information” includes centralized recording type “static text information” and real-time type “dynamic text information (real-time information)”. This “dynamic text information” is recorded in the audio data recording area, and the text information can be read and displayed in synchronization with audio reproduction. Therefore, if the “dynamic text information” is music lyrics, the lyrics can be displayed on the display device while the music is being reproduced.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Conventionally, the dynamic text information such as lyrics is read and displayed in synchronization with the reproduction of audio data.
From the above, an object of the present invention is to specify a playback position using dynamic text information and to enable playback to start from the position.
Another object of the present invention is to improve the playability of DVD-Audio.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is an audio playback method for a storage medium in which a large number of audio packs are recorded for each track and text information packs are discretely recorded between the audio packs. ( 1 ) Text included in a text information pack The text information is stored in a memory so that an audio pack including audio data corresponding to the information can be specified, ( 2 ) the lyrics of the music song are displayed according to the text information of a predetermined track, and ( 3 ) two predetermined locations When the lyric part is instructed, the audio data is reproduced from the audio pack corresponding to the text information of the lyric part.
[0005]
In this way, it is possible to specify a playback position using dynamic text information and start playback from that position, or perform repeated playback. Also, when two text information parts are designated, audio data between them can be reproduced or repeatedly reproduced. As a result, the playability of DVD-Audio can be improved.

(B) Logical Data Structure of DVD-Audio Disc FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram of the logical data structure of the DVD-Audio disc. The DVD-Audio disc is composed of (1) DVD volume zone, (2) DVD audio zone for recording audio content, (3) DVD video zone for recording video content, and (4) DVD other zone. An in-area and lead-out area are provided.
In the DVD audio zone, (1) simple audio manager SMG, (2) audio manager AMG, (3) audio still video set ASVS, and (4) one or more (up to 99) audio title sets ATS are recorded.
[0010]
Since DVD-Audio has a large capacity, it can record a large number of tracks corresponding to a plurality of CD albums. For this reason, in order to improve accessibility, a new access unit Group is defined by collecting tracks (songs) to be reproduced continuously. This Group is a logical unit that can be continuously played back by sequentially connecting one or more audio titles ATT. The audio title set ATS corresponds to one group and defines an audio-only title AOTT defined by the navigation data and audio object (AOB) in the ATS or the audio data of the navigation data and video object (VOB) in the ATS. Is a logical unit.
That is, the audio title set ATS includes (1) audio title set information ATSI, (2) AOTT audio object set (AOTT-AOBS) which is an aggregate of AOTT audio objects (AOTT-AOBS), and (3). ▼ Consists of ATSI backup ATSI (Back Up).
[0011]
As shown in FIG. 4, the AOTT audio object set AOTT-AOBS is an aggregate of a plurality of AOTT-AOBs (AOTT audio objects), and one AOTT-AOB corresponds to one track. AOTT-AOB consists of a number of audio cells ATS-C, and each audio cell ATS-C consists of multiple audio packs A-PCK, which are audio data, and real-time information (dynamic text information) in place. Real-time pack RTI-PCK is inserted. The real-time information is, for example, lyrics, and a real-time pack RTI-PCK including the lyrics part is inserted at a proper position of the audio cell ATS-C corresponding to the lyrics part.
[0012]
One pack is 2048 bytes, and the first pack of the AOTT audio object AOTT-AOB has the structure shown in FIG. 5A, and the other pack has the structure shown in FIG. The first pack includes (1) a 14-byte pack header, (2) an 18-byte system header, (3) 2016 bytes of audio data or real-time information. Packs other than the first pack include (1) a 14-byte pack header, (2) 2034 bytes of audio data or real-time information.
[0013]
The system header includes a system start code, a header length, and the like, and the pack header includes a pack start code, an SCR (System Clock Reference), and the like. Therefore, whether or not it is the leading pack can be identified by detecting the system start code, and the packs can be separated from each other by detecting the pack start code. Further, since the SCR has a pack-specific time, the pack can be specified based on the SCR.
[0014]
As described above, since each pack can be separated and an SCR having a specific time is included in the pack header, real-time information (lyrics) read at the time of reproduction of a predetermined track is changed from (1) from the beginning. Corresponding to the pack number or {circle around (2)} SCR is stored in the

(E) In the above modification, the present invention is the case where the lyrics are stored in DVD-Audio together with the audio data (music). However, the present invention can also be applied to the case where the audio data (conversation) is stored in language text.
The above is a case where the lyrics portion is designated at one place, but it is possible to designate two places and reproduce the audio data between them, or to repeat the reproduction.
In the above description, a case has been described in which a predetermined track (song) is reproduced and then a desired lyrics portion of the track is designated and reproduced from the lyrics portion. However, the present invention is not limited to a reproduced track. For example, the track is pre-read and real-time information (lyrics) of the real-time pack is stored in the
