本発明は操作部材としてノブをスイッチケース内部から照明するシーソ型スイッチに関し、特に簡単な構造で洩光を防止することができるシーソ型スイッチに関する。

【従来の技術およびその課題】
従来の照明を有するシーソ型スイッチの一例の構成を図5に示す。函形のスイッチケース1は部材2に取付けられ、その内部には照明用の光源3が配置されている。スイッチケースには部材2に対向する面に、内側が光を導く通路となるノブ取付部4が一体成形により突設されている。ノブ取付部4の対向する両側には回転軸5が突出して同心上に一体成形されている。
ノブ6はノブ取付部4に嵌め込まれる嵌合部7を有し、この嵌合部7を形成する側部にノブ取付部の回転軸5の軸孔6aが形成されている。そして、ノブ6をノブ取付部4に装着したとき、回転軸5が軸孔6aに嵌合し、ノブ6はノブ取付部に揺動自在に支持される。ノブを操作すると、ノブの揺動に応じてスイッチケース内に配置されたスイッチが動作する。またノブ6を押圧する側の面には光を透過する指標が設けられており、光源3からの照明光が指標を透過して外部に出射し、指標を視認することができる。

上記の目的を達成するため、本発明に係るシーソ型スイッチはスイッチを操作するノブを揺動可能に取り付ける回転軸が外側に突出形成されるノブ取付部とケース内部に光源が配置されるスイッチケースとを金型一体成形によって作製されており、ノブ取付部の基部には、回転軸の金型一体成形時に形成される型抜き孔が孔部としてスイッチケースの表面に開口し、該孔部の開口を囲むようにして壁部がスイッチケースとノブ取付部とに一体形成されており、孔部の開口が回転軸の軸心に対して直交するよう対向されていると共に、回転軸に取り付けるノブの軸孔の周囲には下端面が半円形の対向面に形成された遮光部を設け、一方壁部には回転軸の軸心に直交するよう対向している上端面が遮光部の対向面の半円形に合致した形状に形成されており、ノブの軸孔を回転軸に嵌合したとき、ノブに形成された遮光部の対向面が壁部の上端面に近接して配置され、光源の孔部からの漏光を遮蔽することを特徴としている。
本発明によれば、回転軸の金型一体成形時に形成される型抜き孔が孔部としてスイッチケースの表面に開口し、該孔部の開口を囲むようにして壁部がスイッチケースとノブ取付部とに一体形成され、ノブの軸孔を回転軸に嵌合したとき、ノブに形成された遮光部の対向面が壁部の上端面に近接して配置されるので、孔部からノブの照明光の洩光が防止される。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施形態を図面に基づいて説明する。図1乃至4に一つの実施形態の構成を示す。各図において、図5に示す従来の部分に対応する部分には同一の符号を付しており、その説明は適宜省略する。
スイッチを操作するノブ6を揺動可能に取り付ける回転軸5が外側に突出形成されるノブ取付部4とケース内部に光源3が配置されるスイッチケース1とを金型一体成形によって作製されている。ノブ取付部4の基部には回転軸5の金型一体成形時に形成される型抜き孔が孔部1aとしてスイッチケース1の表面に開口し、該孔部1aの開口を囲むようにして壁部11がスイッチケース1とノブ取付部4とに一体形成されている。孔部1aの開口が回転軸5の軸心に対して直交するよう対向されている。回転軸5に取り付けるノブ6の軸孔6aの周囲には下端面が凸状の半円形の対向面12aに形成された遮光部12が設けられている。壁部11には回転軸5の軸心に直交するよう対向している上端面11aが遮光部12の対向面12aの凸状の半円形に合致した形状に形成されている。従って、スイッチケースとノブの回転軸を一体成形したときに設けられる孔部1aはノブ6をスイッチケース1に組み付けることにより、ノブ6の遮光部12によって閉塞されるため、光源3から発する光が孔部1aを通って外部に洩れることが防止できる。
