【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、搬送ベルトとこれに接触する搬送ローラとの間に、紙幣その他の一定の形状を有するシート状物を挟持して、所定位置まで搬送するシート状物搬送装置に係り、とくに前面側から投入される紙幣を搬送路に送込む紙幣送込み機を備えた遊技設備における紙幣搬送装置に適用して好適なものに関する。

【従来の技術】
一般的に、パチンコ台やスロットマシンなどの複数の遊技台を横方向に並設してなる遊技台列に、その遊技台列の前面側から投入される紙幣を受入れて一定の姿勢で前記遊技台列の背面側に送込む紙幣送込み機を前記遊技台列に沿って間隔をもって設けるとともに、前記遊技台列の背面側に、前記紙幣送込み機から送込まれる紙幣を前記遊技台列に沿って設けられた搬送路に導入させ、前記遊技台列の端部に設けられた収納部まで挟持搬送する紙幣搬送装置を設けた遊技設備がある。

上記遊技台列には、通常、紙幣の投入により作動する台間玉貸機や台間メダル貸機が設置されるが、紙幣送込み機はその台間玉貸機又は台間メダル貸機に組込まれる。従来の紙幣搬送装置の搬送路は、紙幣送込み機から送込まれる紙幣を搬送路に導入させる位置に設けられた導入部と、隣接する導入部の間及び最下流の導入部と収納部の間に設けられた搬送部とに分割して構成されている。そして、一つの遊技台列は、遊技台と、隣合う2台の遊技台ごとの間に設置される台間玉貸機又は台間メダル貸機とから構成され、あるいは、さらに、最近備えられるようになった画像情報提供機や自動販売機などが含まれる場合があり、一つの遊技設備には、2列の遊技台列を背中合わせに設置されている。

このような背中合わせの配置構成に対応して、紙幣搬送装置の組立て、設置を簡便にするため、前記導入部は、前記搬送路の一部となる部分搬送路と、前記紙幣送込み機から送込まれるシート状物を前記部分搬送路に案内導入させる案内路とを有する搬送路形成部材と、前記案内路に外周の一部を臨ませて前記搬送路形成部材に取付けられた推進ホイルと、前記部分搬送路に外周の一部を臨ませて前記搬送路形成部材に取付けられ、前記搬送ベルトに接触して回転される前記搬送ローラとを備えている。また、前記搬送部は、前記搬送路の一部となる部分搬送路を有する1個又は複数個の搬送路形成部材と、所定の搬送路形成部材に取付けられた複数個の前記搬送ローラとを有している。そして、前記導入部及び搬送部のそれぞれの搬送路形成部材は、いずれも平板部と、その平板部の片面の上部と下部に前記部分搬送路を形成する案内縁とを有し、搬送ベルトの両側の導入部及び搬送部のそれぞれの前記搬送路形成部材を前記案内縁において対面させ、部分搬送路の高さ方向中央部分を連通させた状態で、各搬送路形成部材の搬送ローラを前記連通部分に存在する搬送ベルトに互いに反対側から接触させた構造とされている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、従来の紙幣搬送装置においては、搬送路に紙幣がジャムした時、ジャム検知信号を出力したジャム検知器が設けてある遊技台の前面扉を開放した場合に、搬送路のどの部分にジャムした紙幣(ジャム紙幣)が存在するかを容易に発見することができるように、上記導入部及び搬送部のそれぞれの搬送形成部材は、全体が透明とされている。従って、ジャムが発生したときのジャム紙幣の所在は容易に発見できる。しかしながら、遊技台列のいずれの側の搬送路形成部材もその全体が透明であるため、遊技台の前面扉を開放した保守員にはそのジャム紙幣が見えても、扉を開放した遊技台列側の搬送路に存在するのか、反対側の遊技台列の搬送路に存在するのかが容易に判別できず、保守員のジャム紙幣を取除こうとして延ばした手が搬送路形成部材に遮断されて初めて、そのジャム紙幣が扉を開放した遊技台列と反対側の遊技台列の搬送路に存在することが判明し、保守員が反対側の遊技台列の前面側に移動して、当該遊技台の扉を改めて開放するなどの無駄な時間が浪費させられることがあった。

本発明は、上記の事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、その課題は、導入部及び搬送部が背中合わせに配置されているシート状物搬送装置において、搬送路にシート状物がジャムした場合に、そのジャムしたシート状物がいずれの側の搬送路に存在するかを一目瞭然に判別できるようにして、ジャム処理を迅速に行うことができるようにすることにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するため、本発明は、水平軸回りに回転されるプーリ間に巻回され、駆動源により一方向に回転される無端搬送ベルトと、その搬送ベルトの互いに反対側に所定間隔をおいて接触して回転される搬送ローラとを有し、シート状物送込み機から送込まれるシート状物を前記搬送ベルトに沿って形成されている搬送路に導入させ、その搬送路の端部に設けられている収納部まで挟持搬送するシート状物搬送装置において、前記シート状物送込み機に対応して設けられている導入部と、隣接する導入部の間及び最下流の導入部と前記収納部の間に設けられている搬送部とに分割して構成され、前記導入部は、前記搬送路の一部となる部分搬送路と前記シート状物送込み機から送込まれるシート状物を前記部分搬送路に案内導入させる案内路とを有する搬送路形成部材と、前記部分搬送路に外周の一部を臨ませて前記搬送路形成部材に取付けられた前記搬送ローラとから構成されているとともに、前記搬送部は、前記搬送路の一部となる部分搬送路を有する1個又は複数個の搬送路形成部材と、所定の搬送路形成部材に取付けられた前記搬送ローラとから構成されていて、前記導入部及び前記搬送部のそれぞれの搬送路形成部材は、いずれも透明材料で作られ、平板部と、その平板部の片面の上部及び下部に上下対向して開口されて前記部分搬送路を形成する案内縁とを有し、前記搬送ベルトの両側に配置された搬送路形成部材を前記案内縁において対面させ、かつ、前記部分搬送路の高さ方向中央部分を連通させた状態で、各搬送路形成部材の搬送ローラを前記連通部分に延設された前記搬送ベルトに互いに反対側から接触されており、前記搬送ベルトに関して一方側の搬送路形成部材の前記上下の案内縁は、少なくとも一方が前記部分搬送路を搬送されるシート状物の一部を隠蔽するように、不透明又は有色透明にされていることを特徴としている。
上記構成により、他方側の搬送路形成部材の部分搬送路により構成されている搬送路にシート状物がジャムした時は、同一側から見た場合は、そのシート状物の高さ方向の全体が見える。また、一方側の搬送路形成部材の部分搬送路により構成されている搬送路にシート状物がジャムした時は、同一側から見た場合は、そのシート状物は、その上部と下部の少なくとも一方が案内縁により隠蔽されて、見えない。従って、そのジャムしたシート状物がいずれかの側の搬送路に存在するかが容易に判る。従って、そのジャムしたシート状物の排除を迅速に行うことができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、本発明の実施の形態を、本発明を遊技設備の紙幣搬送装置として実施した場合の例について、図面に基づいて説明する。
図1は、本発明に係る紙幣搬送装置を備えた遊技設備の一例の一部の平面図、図2は図1のX部分における、主として紙幣搬送装置のみを抽出して示す正面図、図3は同じく平面図、図4は図2のA−A線断面図である。
図5〜図9は導入部を示すものであり、図5は正面図、図6は平面図、図7は図5のB−B線断面図、図8は側面図、図9は図7のC−C線断面図である。図11は図4のほぼD−D線に沿った端面図である。
図12〜図16は搬送部を示すものであり、図12は搬送部の構成要素であるユニットの正面図、図13は一つのユニットの平面図、図14は同じく断面図、図15は同じく側面図、図16は縦断面図である。図17は図4のほぼE−E線に沿った端面図である。

図1は、図面を簡明にし、説明を簡単にするため、遊技機P、紙幣送込み機Sを組込んだ台間玉貸機や台間メダル貸機を所定の順序で所定の間隔をもって配置してなる2列の遊技台列を背中合わせに設置し、両遊技台列の間に、紙幣送込み機Sから一定の姿勢で送込まれる紙幣を遊技台列に沿って設けられた搬送路に導入させ、遊技台列の一端部に設けられた収納部CTまで挟持搬送する紙幣搬送装置BCを設けて構成された遊技設備の一例を示している。
遊技設備には、遊技機P、紙幣送込み機Sを組込んだ台間玉貸機や台間メダル貸機のほかに、画像情報提供装置、自動販売機やサービス供給機等(いずれも図示省略)がランダムに設置されるものもある。本発明は、遊技台列がいかなる構成要素を有する場合にも、適用可能である。

紙幣搬送装置BCは、遊技台列の一端部に設けられたモータなどの駆動源Mと、遊技台列の両端部に設けた、駆動源Mにより水平軸回りに回転されるプーリ(図示省略)の間に巻回された1本の無端丸ベルトからなる搬送ベルトBL(図11,17参照)と、各遊技台列に対応して所定間隔をもって配設され、前記搬送ベルトBLに接触して垂直軸回りに従動回転される搬送ローラ6と、搬送ベルトと搬送ローラの接触面に沿って形成された搬送路を有している。搬送路は、後の詳細な説明により明らかになるように、導入部Jと搬送部Cとによって分割して構成されている。より正確には、搬送路は、それぞれの紙幣送込み機Sに対応する位置に設けられている導入部J2の一つの構成部材である搬送路形成部材1に形成されている部分搬送路p1,p2と、各導入部の間及び最下流の導入部と収納部CTの間に設けられている搬送部Uの搬送路形成部材21に形成されている部分搬送路p1,p2とによって構成されている。
そして、導入部Jには、搬送ベルトBLの一方側に配置される導入部J1と、他方側に配置される導入部J2とがあり、各導入部は搬送ベルトに関して互いに対称形に構成されている。また、それぞれの導入部は、互いに独立しており、後述されるように、遊技台列に沿って任意の位置に取付け可能とされている。また、搬送部Uには、搬送ベルトBLの一方側に配置される搬送部U1と、他方側に配置される搬送部U2とがあり、導入部と同様に、それぞれ独立した構成を有して、遊技台列に沿った任意の位置に取付け可能とされている。

以下に、まず、導入部J1について、図5〜図11を参照して詳述する。導入部J2は導入部J1と対称形に作られているので、説明を省略する。導入部J1は、搬送路形成部材1を有している。搬送路形成部材1のほぼ矩形の平板部2の上下背面側に形成された又は固着された案内縁3a,3bにより、上下対向して開口する溝3c,3dが形成してあり、両溝の間に、紙幣搬送装置の搬送路の一部となる部分搬送路p1が構成されている(図8,9,11参照)。部分搬送路p1は、搬送路形成部材の長手方向に貫通して紙幣を横長の姿勢で案内する。また、平板部2の正面の中央寄りやや右又は左に寄った位置に、手前方向に突出して先端が開口し、紙幣受入機Sから送込まれる紙幣を部分搬送路p1に案内して導入させる案内路4が形成されている。搬送路形成部材1は、部分搬送路p1の紙幣の存否を視認できるように、透明樹脂材料で成形されている。
搬送路形成部材1には、推進ホイル5、搬送ローラ6及び搬送ローラの回転力を推進ホイル5に伝達させる伝動ベルト7、並びに補助ローラ8が従来と同様に備えられ、かつ、ジャム検知器9が取付けられている。搬送ローラ6はゴムローラで作られていて、後述される搬送ベルトBLに接触し、その搬送ベルトBLと搬送ローラ6の間に紙幣を挟持して搬送するように作用する。

ジャム検知器9には、導入部J1がJ2と互いに独立して取付け可能にするため、アクチュエータ型センサが用いられ、一例として、図10に示すように、部分搬送路p1の溝3c内に先端が突出され、支点9aで揺動自在に支持されたアクチュエータ9bと、そのアクチュエータが溝3cを搬送される紙幣により揺動されたとき、そのアクチュエータ9bにより光を遮断されるフォトセンサ9cからなる周知のものを用いることができる。しかし、フォトセンサの代りに、アクチュエータにより作動されるマイクロスイッチその他のセンサを用いることもできる。このジャム検知器9が出力する紙幣検知信号は導線10を介して判定部(図示せず)に与えられ、紙幣検知信号の出力が所定時間以上継続した場合は、前記判定部はジャムが発生したと判断するようになっている。

さらに、搬送路形成部材1は、紙幣搬送方向の上流側端部と下流側端部に、櫛歯状の連結部11,12を有している。この連結部は、図1に示すように、搬送方向に沿って隣接する導入部J1,J1間;J2,J2間にそれぞれ設けられて両導入部の部分搬送路p1を連続させる、後述の搬送部U1,U1;U2,U2と連結する際に、導入部と搬送部の間に、搬送される紙幣をジャムさせるような縦直線状のエッジが生じないように、滑らかに連結するためのものである。

すなわち、連結部11は、後述される上流側の搬送部U1の下流側端部の連結部28と互いに嵌め継ぎが可能な形状を有し、下流側の連結部12は、後述される下流側の搬送部U1の上流側端部の連結部27と互いに嵌め継ぎが可能な形状を有している(図2参照)。そして、搬送路形成部材1の上流側の連結部11と搬送部U1の上流側端部の連結部27、搬送路形成部材1の下流側の連結部12と搬送部U1の下流側端部の連結部28は、それぞれ等しい形状を有している。

上記のように、搬送路形成部材1に部分搬送路p1と案内路4を形成し、推進ホイル5と搬送ローラ6を取付け、ジャム検知器9を取付けて、独立した構成を有する導入部J1も、好ましい実施の形態では、遊技台列に沿って任意の位置に容易に取付ることを可能にするため、搬送路形成部材1の上端部と下端部の内、少なくとも上端部に、紙幣搬送方向に間隔をおいて複数個の貫通孔13(図9参照)が形成してあり、各貫通孔に係止部材の一例として、押込み拡大リベット14が挿通して装着されている。また、搬送路形成部材1の下端部には、同様の押込み拡大型のリベットを装着しても良いが、係止部材の他の例として、係止縁15が形成してある。

図2に示すように、両側の遊技台列の間の各紙幣送込み機Sとほぼ等しい高さ位置において、上下一対のレールUR,LRが紙幣搬送装置の高さとほぼ等しい間隔をもって遊技台列に沿って平行に延設されている。上レールUR及び下レールLRは、それぞれその上端部及び下端部をクランプCL1,CL2で挟持され、そのクランプCL1,CL2を2列の遊技台列の間に立設された支柱又は紙幣送込み機Sに固定することにより、所定の高さ位置に平行状態で取付けられている。
上レールURは、図11(a)に示すように、上方に開口するあり溝16を有するとともに、そのあり溝の下側において前後方向に開口する2条のあり溝17を有している。上側のあり溝16は、遊技台列に沿って隣接する上レールURの端部同志を連結するためのものである。図11(b)に示すように、短冊状の鋼製の連結板18の長さの半分を一方の上レールのあり溝16に、他の半分を他方の上レールのあり溝16に押入することにより、簡単に連結可能とされている。また、下レールLRは、下方に開口するあり溝19と、上方に開口する2条のあり溝20を有している。下レールLRの端部同志も、あり溝19に同様の連結板18を同様に押入して、簡単に連結することができる。

そして、一方側の遊技台列の紙幣送込み機に対応する導入部J1を所定位置に取付ける際は、まず、導入部J1の搬送路形成部材1をその下部を、上下2本のレールUR,LRのうち、下レールLRに接近させてやや斜めにした状態で下レールLRに接近し、係止縁15を下レールLRの上側のあり溝20に嵌合し、その搬送路形成部材1を紙幣送込み機Sに対応する所定位置まで摺動し、その後に、搬送路形成部材1の上端部を上レールURに接近して、前記リベット14を上レールURの側面のあり溝17に押し込むことにより、導入部J1を上下両レールUR,LRに固定する。
押込み拡大リベット14は、その軸部がほぼスリット付き卵形に形成されていて、あり溝17に押付けると、軸部が圧縮されてあり溝に押入された後、膨脹することにより、レールに固定される。そして、搬送路形成部材1をレールから離れる方向に強く引くと、リベットの軸部が圧縮されてあり溝から抜けるため、搬送路形成部材1は、その下部を下レールLRに係止したまま、上部を上レールURから離間して、部分搬送路p1又はp2を外側に開放することができる。この部分搬送路の外側への開放可能な点は、後述されるように、ジャム紙幣の除去に有用である。

図4、図11(a)に示すように、上下両レールUR,LRの反対側から他方側の遊技台列の紙幣送込み機に対応する導入部J2も同様の方法により固定され、搬送ベルトBLの互いに反対面に各導入部の搬送ローラ6が当接される。この場合、両導入部の搬送路形成部材1の部分搬送路p1,p2を形成する案内縁3a,3bのうち、いずれか一方側の遊技台列の紙幣送込み機に対応する導入部(図示の例ではJ1)の部分搬送路p1,p2を形成する案内縁3a,3bが、その部分搬送路を通過される紙幣の上辺側と下辺側の少なくとも一方が、図8及び図11に塗り潰して示すように、不透明又は有色透明とされている。

続いて、その搬送部U1,U2の構成について図12〜図16を用いて説明する。図12は、搬送部U1の構成要素の一例を示す正面図、図13は一つのユニットの平面図、図14は横断面図、図15は端面図、図16は縦断面図である。搬送部U1は、いずれの場合も、基本的に、複数種類のユニットの単一又は組合わせからなっている。搬送部U2も同様に複数種類のユニットの単一又は組合わせからなるが、搬送部U2の各ユニットは、搬送部U1の各ユニットと対称形に作られているので、説明を省略する。
図示の例では、搬送部U1は、図12の(a),(b),(c)に示すように、サイズが大中小3種類のユニットUa,Ub,Ucを構成要素としている。ユニットUa,Ub,Ucはいずれも共通の構成部材として、それぞれ長さが異なる搬送路形成部材21a,21b,21cを有する。どの搬送路形成部材も、部分搬送路pの紙幣の存否を視認できるように、透明樹脂材料で成形されている。そして、大ユニットUaは、搬送路形成部材21aに複数個の搬送ローラ22が等間隔をもって取付けられ、中ユニットUbは、搬送路形成部材21bに1個の搬送ローラ22が取付けられている。しかし、小ユニットUcは、搬送路形成部材21cのみからなり、搬送ローラを有していない。

大ユニットUaの搬送路形成部材21aは、導入部Jの搬送路形成部材1の平板部2と等しい高さの矩形の平板部23aを有し、図15に示すように、その上下端部に、導入部Jの溝3c,3dと同様に、上下の案内縁24a,24bにより形成された、上下対向して開口し、搬送路形成部材21aの長手方向に貫通する溝24c,24dを有して、その溝と平板部23aの背面とによって部分搬送路p1が形成されている。各搬送ローラ22は、その外周の一部が部分搬送路p1に臨むように取付けられている。
上記大ユニットUaは、これを上記上下のレールUR,LRの任意の位置に取付けることを可能にするため、搬送路形成部材21aの平板部23aの上端部に導入部の場合と同様に貫通孔25(図16参照)が設けられ、その貫通孔に導入部の場合と同様の押込み拡大リベット14が挿通して装着されている。また、搬送路形成部材21aの下端部に、導入部の搬送路形成部材における案内縁15と同様の、下方に突出する係止縁26が設けられている。
さらに、搬送路形成部材21aの長手方向両端部には、導入部Jの搬送方向上流部と下流部のそれぞれの櫛歯状連結部11,12と嵌め継ぎ可能な補完的形状を有する櫛歯状連結部27,28が形成されている。

中ユニットUbの搬送路形成部材21bは、大ユニットUaの搬送路形成部材21aとほぼ同一の縦断面形状を有し、平板部23bの背面に同様に搬送路を有しているほか、上端部に同様の構造により押込み拡大リベット9が2個装着され、下端部に下方に突出する係止縁26が設けられている。そして、長手方向両端部に、大ユニットUaの両端部の連結部27,28と同一形状の連結部27,28を有している。
小ユニットUcの搬送路形成部材21cは、中ユニットUbの平板部23bの三分の一程度の長さの平板部23cの両端部に中ユニットUbの両端部の連結部27,28とほぼ同一形状の連結部27,28を備えた構造を有しており、上端部に既述された押込み拡大リベット14と同一の押込み拡大リベット14が1個のみ装着され、下端部に下方に突出する係止縁26が設けられている。

上記構成により、各ユニットUa,Ub,Ucは、それぞれ同様に、搬送路形成部材の下端部の係止縁26を上記下レールLRのあり溝20に係止するとともに、上端部の押込み拡大リベット14を上記上レールURのあり溝17に押し込んで、任意の位置に取付けることができ、その際に、隣接するユニットの櫛歯状連結部27,28を互いに嵌め継ぎして、各搬送路形成部材を一体状に連続させることができる。また、搬送部の両端部に位置する櫛歯状連結部27,28は導入部Jの連結部11,12と嵌め継ぎされる。
そして、搬送部を構成するユニットUa,Ubの搬送路形成部材21a,21bも、上記導入部における搬送路形成部材1の場合と同様に、その下部を下レールLRに係止したまま、上部を上レールURから離間して、部分搬送路p1又はp2を外側に開放することができる。

上下のレールUR,LRには、図3に示すように、隣接する導入部J1,J1間;J2,J2間において、搬送部U1,U2が両側の遊技台列に対応して設けられ、図17に示すように、搬送部U1,U2の搬送路形成部材21の部分搬送路p1,p2を形成する案内縁24a,24bを対面させ、それら部分搬送路を中間部分で連通させ、各搬送ローラ22を搬送ベルトBLの互いに反対面に当接させた状態で取付けられる。この場合、両搬送部の搬送路形成部材21の部分搬送路p1,p2を形成する案内縁24a,24bのうち、いずれか一方側の遊技台列の搬送部(図17の例では、U1)の部分搬送路p1,p2を形成する案内縁24a,24bが、その部分搬送路を通過される紙幣の上辺側と下辺側の少なくとも一方が隠蔽されるように、図8及び図11に塗り潰して示すように、不透明又は有色透明とされている。
