【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、食品を収容するために用いられる食品用容器に関するものであり、特に惣菜をセルフサービスで量り売りする場合に好適な食品用容器に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、上面が開口した容器本体と、前記開口を塞ぐようにして当該容器本体に装着される蓋体とからなるプラスチック製の食品用容器が知られている。かかる食品用容器は、例えば、薄いプラスチック板に熱間でのプレス成形処理を施すことによって製造されている。そして、蓋体は、それを容器本体に嵌め合わせることで着脱自在に容器本体に装着されるようになっている。

このように構成された食品用容器は、軽量であるため取り扱いが容易であり、且つ安価であること、および容器本体内に煮汁等がにじみ出るようなものを装填しても、蓋体を容器本体に嵌め合わせることで煮汁等が洩れ出るような不都合が生じないこと等の理由で、惣菜等の食品の量り売り用の容器として好適に使用されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、前記のような従来の食品用容器にあっては、通常、蓋体が容器本体に装着された状態で当該蓋体が容器本体に圧入されているため、こじ開けるようにしなければ容器本体から蓋体を取り外すことができない。したがって、このような食品用容器に密封状態で装填された食品を購入した消費者は、非常な苦労をして開蓋操作を行わなければならず、かかる従来の食品用容器は、消費者に優しいものであるとはいい難いのが実情であった。特に、消費者が老人や身体にハンデキャップのある人の場合には、開蓋操作はさらに困難を極めることになるのである。

また、容器本体から蓋体を外すに際し、一方の手で容器本体の周壁を把持するとともに、他方の手で蓋体をこじ開ける操作を行わなければならないが、通常容器本体は椀状に上広がりに形成されているため、一方の手による容器本体の保持状態が蓋体のこじ開け操作に適していないということも従来の食品容器の開蓋操作が困難であるという原因の一つとして挙げられる。

本発明は、上記のような状況に鑑みなされたものであり、開蓋操作の容易な食品用容器を提供し、これによって開蓋操作時に老人や身体にハンデキャップのある人を含む全ての消費者に余分な努力を強いることがないようにすることを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項１記載の発明は、上方が開口した容器本体と、開口を塞ぐように該容器本体に着脱自在に装着される蓋体とからなり、蓋体を容器本体に装着するべく、容器本体の開口部の周縁部に凸条部が形成されると共に、蓋体の開口部の周縁部に前記凸条部と嵌め合わされる凹条部が形成されてなる食品用容器であって、前記容器本体には、開口部から外方に向けて突設された本体側耳部が設れられているとともに、前記蓋体には、前記本体側耳部に対向するように周縁部から突設された蓋体側耳部が設けられ、前記各耳部のいずれか一方または双方は、蓋体側耳部の摘持を容易にすべく互いを強制的に離間させる強制離間手段を有してなり、しかも、蓋体は、開口部の周縁部に前記凹条部を形成することによって上面側が膨出すると共に、該膨出した部分における蓋体耳部と対応した部分に、蓋体側耳部の摘持時に膨出した部分が指が干渉するのを回避するための逃し凹部が設けられていることを特徴とするものである。

この発明によれば、蓋体が容器本体に装着されることにより本体側耳部と、蓋体側耳部とが互いに対向した状態で、強制離間手段によって本体側および蓋体側耳部間に隙間が形成されるため、当該隙間に指先の一部を差し入れることによって蓋体側耳部を本体側耳部から大きく離間させることが可能になり、これを手掛かりとして蓋体を容器本体から容易かつ迅速に取り外すことができる。

したがって、密封状態で容器本体の開口を閉止した蓋体を容器本体から取り外すのに困難を極めるというような従来の不都合が確実に解消される。かかる食品用容器は、特に惣菜等の食品をセルフサービスで量り売りするために用いられる容器として好適である。その上、蓋体を容器本体から取り外すに際し、蓋体側耳部を摘持する指が蓋体の周縁部に形成された凸条部（膨出した部分）と干渉することが、当該凸条部に設けられた逃し凹部の存在によって回避されるため、蓋体側耳部を容易に摘持することができ、これによって食品用容器の開蓋操作が容易になる。

請求項２記載の発明は、請求項１記載の発明において、前記強制離間手段は、前記本体側耳部および蓋体側耳部のいずれか一方から他方に向かって突設された突起であることを特徴とするものである。

この発明によれば、蓋体が容器本体に装着された状態で、本体側耳部および蓋体側耳部は、両者のいずれか一方から他方へ向かって突設された突起が存在することによって強制的に離間される。

請求項３記載の発明は、請求項１又は２記載の発明において、前記容器本体および蓋体は、平面視で同一の多角形状に形状設定され、少なくとも蓋体側耳部は、容器本体または蓋体の互いに隣り合った辺の交差位置に設定され、且つ前記辺より外方位置へ向けて延設された延設部を有してなることを特徴とするものである。

この発明によれば、延設部の存在で容器本体側および蓋体側の各耳部のいずれか一方または双方は、多角形状を呈する容器本体および蓋体の隅部のみを耳部とした場合に比較して大きくなっているため、めくり取られた一方の耳部の摘持が大きくなっている分容易になり、これによって食品用容器の開蓋操作を容易かつ迅速に行い得るようになる。

請求項４記載の発明は、請求項１乃至３のいずれかに記載の発明において、前記容器本体側耳部および蓋体側耳部は、蓋体が容器本体に装着された状態で、互いに所定の角度を備えるように突設方向が設定されてなることを特徴とするものである。

この発明によれば、蓋体が容器本体に装着された状態で、本体側耳部と蓋体側耳部とは互いに所定の角度を備えるように突設方向が設定されているため、先端側へ向かうに従い各耳部間の隙間寸法が大きくなる。したがって、指先を各耳部の先端部間へ差し入れ易くなり、これによって耳部の摘持を容易に行うことができ、延いては容器本体の開蓋操作を容易かつ迅速に行い得るようになる。

【発明の実施の形態】
図１および図２は、本発明に係る食品用容器の一実施形態を示す斜視図であり、図１は容器本体から蓋体が取り外された状態、図２は、容器本体に蓋体が装着された状態をそれぞれ示している。また、図３は、図２のＡ−Ａ線断面図であり、図４は、図２のＢ−Ｂ線断面図である。さらに、図５は図２に示す食品用容器の一部切欠き平面図である。

これらの図に示すように、食品用容器１０は、食品を装填する容器本体２０と、この容器本体２０の上方開口を密封状態で閉止し得る蓋体３０とを備えた基本構成を有している。

本実施形態では、これら容器本体２０および蓋体３０は、いずれもコーンスターチ等を原料にした、自然分解し得るいわゆる生分解性合成樹脂によって形成され、これによって環境保全に貢献し得るようにしている。但し、本発明は、容器本体２０および蓋体３０が生分解性合成樹脂製であることに限定されるものではなく、これらの一方または双方を通常の合成樹脂を原料として製造してもよい。

前記容器本体２０は、若干底深く形成された食品収納部２１と、この食品収納部２１の開口部の全周から上方へ向けて膨設された環状内嵌部（凸条部）２２と、この環状内嵌部２２の適所（本実施形態では四隅）から外方へ向けて突設された容器本体側耳部２３とを備えている。本実施形態においては、環状内嵌部２２と、食品収納部２１との間に後述の蓋体側段差部３４に対向する容器本体側段差部２４が介設されている。但し、本発明は、容器本体側段差部２４および蓋体側段差部３４を設けることに限定されるものではなく、状況に応じて設けなくてもよい。

前記食品収納部２１は、本実施形態においては、平面視で正方形状に形成され、底板２１ａと、この底板２１ａの周縁から立設された周壁２１ｂとを備えて構成されている。周壁２１ｂの四隅部には、平面状の部分から滑らかに移行して円弧状になった４つの円弧隅部２１ｃを有している。かかる食品収納部２１は、各側面視で逆台形状に形成され、これによって平面視での断面積が上方開口から下方に向かうに従って漸減するようになっている。但し、本発明は、食品収納部２１が平面視で正方形状であることに限定されるものではなく、用途や意匠的な面を勘案して、例えば長方形状、円形状、楕円形状あるいは多角形状等の各種の形状のものとすることができる。

また、食品収納部２１の周壁２１ｂには、各４つの外側面の略中央位置に設定された側面視で上に凸の円弧状を呈する凹没面２１ｄがそれぞれ形成されている。これらの凹没面２１ｄは、底板２１ａと略直交するように面方向が設定されている。

そして、各凹没面２１ｄには、横方向に延びる複数本の滑り止め条２１ｅが膨設されている。かかる滑り止め条２１ｅの存在によって、蓋体３０の装着された容器本体２０から当該蓋体３０を取り外すに際し、対向した凹没面２１ｄを挟むようにして容器本体２０を把持することにより、把持した指が当該容器本体２０の周壁２１ｂ上で滑るような不都合の発生が防止される。

前記環状内嵌部２２は、図１および図３に示すように、容器本体側段差部２４の外方の全周縁部から上方へ向けて帯状で突設された内側環状帯壁部２２ａと、この内側環状帯壁部２２ａの上縁部から全周に亘って外方へ向けて突設された環状頂部２２ｂと、この環状頂部２２ｂの外方の全周縁部から下方に向けて延設された帯状の外側環状帯壁部２２ｃとからなっている。かかる環状内嵌部２２は、断面視で上部が上方へ向かうに従って若干先細りになるように台形状に形成され、これによって蓋体３０に設けられた後述の環状外嵌部３２が当該環状内嵌部２２に嵌り込み易くなっている。

また、かかる環状内嵌部２２は、図５に示すように、平面視で直線状の部分から滑らかに移行して円弧状に形成された円弧状隅部２２ｄを四隅部にそれぞれ有している。各容器本体側耳部２３は、これら円弧状隅部２２ｄの存在で食品収納部２１の四隅部がそれぞれ丸みを帯びるようになることからその分面積が大きくなり、指で摘み易くなっている。

そして、本実施形態においては、この円弧状隅部２２ｄは、容器本体側段差部２４からの上方への突出量が、他の環状内嵌部２２より少なめに設定され、これによってこの部分は環状内嵌部２２の直線状の部分より若干凹んだ状態になっている。

前記容器本体側耳部２３は、それぞれ食品収納部２１の各円弧隅部２１ｃから外方に向かって突設されている。かかる容器本体側耳部２３は、互いに隣設された外側環状帯壁部２２ｃの直状部分の延長線の交差位置までの範囲より外方ヘ向けて延設された、図５に点描で示す延設部２３ａをそれぞれ有している。本実施形態においては、各延設部２３ａは円弧状に形成され、これによって指当りが良好になって摘持し易くなっている。但し、延設部２３ａが円弧状であることに限定されるものではなく、各種の形状に設定することができる。また、容器本体側耳部２３は４つであることに限定されるものではなく、少なくとも１つ存在すればよい。

かかる容器本体側耳部２３には、その略中央位置に上方へ向けて突設された突起（強制離間手段）２３ｂが設けられ、この突起２３ｂの存在により蓋体３０を容器本体２０に装着したときに、当該容器本体側耳部２３と後述する蓋体側耳部３３との間に積極的に隙間が形成されるようになされている。

前記蓋体３０は、容器本体２０の食品収納部２１に対向した蓋体本体３１と、この蓋体本体３１の全周縁から外方に向かって突設された、前記環状内嵌部２２に対応する環状外嵌部（凹条部）３２と、この環状外嵌部３２の四隅に前記容器本体側耳部２３に対応して設けられた蓋体側耳部３３とを備えて構成されている。そして、本実施形態においては、蓋体本体３１と環状外嵌部３２との間に前記容器本体側段差部２４に対応した蓋体側段差部３４が介設されている。

前記蓋体本体３１は、天板３１ａと、この天板３１ａおよび前記蓋体側段差部３４間に介設された周壁３１ｂとからなっている。本実施形態においては、天板３１ａは蓋体側段差部３４に囲繞された平面より小さく寸法設定され、これによって周壁３１ｂは上窄みになるような傾斜面を形成した状態になっている。食品用容器１０は、蓋体３０が容器本体２０に装着された状態で、このような上方に膨出した蓋体本体３１の存在により大きな内容積を確保し得るようになっている。

かかる蓋体本体３１の周壁３１ｂには、互いに対向した傾斜している側面の一部が対向方向へ向けて凹没されることによって形成した、指が嵌り込み得る摘み凹部３１ｄがそれぞれ設けられている。かかる摘み凹部３１ｄが設けられていることによって、周壁３１ｂが伏せ椀状に上窄みに形成されてなる蓋体３０を容易に摘むことができるようになっている。

従って、摘み凹部３１ｄが設けられていない場合には、蓋体３０の縁部を摘持して開蓋しなければならず、指先が蓋体３０の内側に入り込んで非衛生になる等の不都合が生じるが、摘み凹部３１ｄの存在でかかる不都合は生じず、衛生上好ましい。

また、蓋体本体３１の天板３１ａには、上面側の適所に食品用容器１０に収容される食品についての情報や、開蓋方法等を示す点字３１ｅが篆刻されている。かかる点字３１ｅを蓋体３０の天板３１ａに篆刻することにより、目の不自由な人が当該点字３１ｅを触ることによって当該食品用容器１０に関する各種の情報を知ることができるため、目の不自由な人でも介添えなしに量り売りの食品を、食品用容器１０を介して購入することが可能になり、目の不自由な人の日常生活を援護する上で有効である。

前記環状外嵌部３２は、外観視で蓋体側段差部３４から上方へ向けて突出した状態になっている。かかる環状外嵌部３２は、前記容器本体２０の環状内嵌部２２の内側環状帯壁部２２ａに対応した蓋体３０側の内側環状帯壁部３２ａと、同環状頂部２２ｂ対応した環状天井部３２ｂと、同外側環状帯壁部２２ｃに対応した蓋体３０側の外側環状帯壁部３２ｃとからなっている。

そして、蓋体３０側の内側環状帯壁部３２ａおよび外側環状帯壁部３２ｃ間の内寸法は、容器本体２０側の内側環状帯壁部２２ａおよび外側環状帯壁部２２ｃ間の外寸法と同一であるかそれより僅かに大きく寸法設定されているとともに、環状外嵌部３２の溝深さは、環状内嵌部２２の高さ寸法より僅かに深く寸法設定されている。従って、蓋体３０を容器本体２０に重ねて下方へ押圧することにより、蓋体側耳部３３が摺接状態で環状内嵌部２２に外嵌し、これによって食品用容器１０内が密封されることになる。

前記蓋体側耳部３３は、容器本体２０の容器本体側耳部２３と平面視で同一形状に設定されている。蓋体側耳部３３にも容器本体側耳部２３の延設部２３ａに対向した延設部３３ａ（図５に点描で表示）が設けられ、これによって蓋体側耳部３３の摘持が容易になるようにしている。

なお、容器本体側耳部２３には延設部２３ａを設けないようにし、蓋体側耳部３３にのみ延設部３３ａを設けるようにすれば、蓋体３０が容器本体２０に装着され各耳部２３，３３が重なり合った状態で、蓋体側耳部３３の延設部３３ａのみが容器本体側耳部２３から外部に突出した状態になるため、蓋体側耳部３３がめくり易くなる。

また、本実施形態においては、蓋体側耳部３３は、容器本体側耳部２３の突起２３ｂより若干基端側の位置が折り曲げ処理されることによって形成した立上り部３３ｂを有している。従って、蓋体側耳部３３は、先端側が容器本体側耳部２３との間に隙間を形成させつつ立上り部３３ｂの上縁部から外方に向かって突出した状態になっている。かかる立上り部３３ｂの立ち上がり量は、前記突起２３ｂの突出量と略同一に設定されている。

かかる立上り部３３ｂを設けることにより、蓋体側耳部３３の先端側が、突起２３ｂとの干渉で先上がりに傾斜することがなく、蓋体側耳部３３が先上がりに傾斜することによる見苦しさを解消することができる。また、突起２３ｂを立上り部３３ｂより先端側に設けることにより、食品用容器１０の取り扱い時や保管時に蓋体側耳部３３が異物と干渉することにより立上り部３３ｂが容器本体側耳部２３の方向へひしゃげ、これによって蓋体側耳部３３と容器本体側耳部２３との間の間隙がなくなるような不都合を防止することができる。

そして、このように構成された蓋体３０において、環状外嵌部３２の四隅には、容器本体２０の環状内嵌部２２の前記円弧状隅部２２ｄに対応した円弧状隅部３２ｄが形成されている。この円弧状隅部３２ｄは、その底面側が前記容器本体２０の環状頂部２２ｂの上面側に当接し得るように、天井高さが環状外嵌部３２の直線状を呈した部分の環状天井部３２ｂの天井高さより低めに寸法設定されている。本実施形態においては、かかる円弧状隅部３２ｄによって本発明に係る逃し凹部が形成されている。

従って、蓋体３０を上面側から目視した場合、円弧状隅部３２ｄは、環状外嵌部３２の直状部分より凹んだ状態になっており、これによって開蓋操作を行うに当っての蓋体側耳部３３の摘持時に指が円弧状隅部３２ｄと干渉して邪魔になるような不都合が起らないようにしている。

本発明に係る食品用容器１０は、以上詳述したように、上方が開口した容器本体２０と、開口を塞ぐように容器本体２０に着脱自在に装着される蓋体３０とを備えてなるものであり、容器本体２０の開口部から外方に向けて容器本体２０の深さ方向と略直交するように容器本体側耳部２３が突設され、前記蓋体３０には、容器本体側耳部２３に対向するように蓋体側耳部３３が設けられ、各耳部２３，３３のいずれか一方は、蓋体側耳部３３の摘持を容易にするための強制離間手段を有しているため、蓋体３０が容器本体２０に装着されるこれにより容器本体側耳部２３と、蓋体側耳部３３とが互いに対向した状態で、当該強制離間手段によって各耳部２３，３３間に隙間が形成される。したがって、この隙間を手掛かりにして蓋体側耳部３３を容器本体側耳部２３から引き離しつつ蓋体３０を容器本体２０から容易かつ迅速に取り外すことができる。

このように本発明に係る食品用容器１０は、密封状態で容器本体２０の開口を閉止した蓋体３０を容器本体２０から取り外すのに困難を極めるような従来の不都合が確実に解消されるため、特に開蓋操作の容易性および迅速性が要求される惣菜等の食品をセルフサービスで量り売りするための容器として好適に使用することができる。

そして、上記の実施形態においては、強制離間手段は、容器本体側耳部２３に設けられた突起２３ｂによって構成されているため、蓋体３０が容器本体２０に装着された状態で、前記突起２３ｂの存在により容器本体側耳部２３と蓋体側耳部３３との間には隙間が形成される。したがって、この隙間に指先の一部を差し入れることにより蓋体側耳部３３を容器本体側耳部２３から容易に且つ大きく離間させることができるため、これを手掛かりにして蓋体側耳部３３を摘持し、蓋体３０を容器本体２０から容易かつ迅速に取り外すことができる。

また、蓋体３０の環状外嵌部３２の円弧状隅部３２ｄは、環状外嵌部３２を形成するために蓋体３０の上面側に膨出した部分に対して切り欠かれたように凹没されて本発明の逃し凹部とされているため、蓋体３０を容器本体２０から取り外すに際し、蓋体側耳部３３を指で摘む動作に対する干渉物が存在しない状態になっている。したがって、蓋体側耳部３３の摘持操作が容易になり、これによって蓋体３０の開蓋操作を迅速に行うことができる。

また、容器本体側耳部２３および蓋体側耳部３３は、平面視で正方形状を呈する食品用容器１０の互いに隣り合った辺の交差位置に形成されているとともに、前記各辺より外方位置へ向けて延設された延設部２３ａ，３３ａをそれぞれ備えているため、容器本体側耳部２３および蓋体側耳部３３は、容器本体２０および蓋体３０の隅部のみを耳部とした場合に比較して大きくなっており、その分摘持し易く、食品用容器の開蓋操作の容易性および迅速性に貢献することができる。

本発明は、上記の実施形態に限定されるものではなく、以下の内容をも包含するものである。

（１）上記の実施形態においては、強制離間手段としての突起２３ｂが容器本体側耳部２３における蓋体側耳部３３の立上り部３３ｂより先端側に対応した部分に設けられているが、こうする代わりに、図６の（イ）に示すように、容器本体側耳部２３における蓋体側耳部３３の立上り部３３ｂより基端側に対応した部分に設けてもよい。こうすることによって容器本体側耳部２３および蓋体側耳部３３の各先端部間の離間寸法がより大きくなり、これによって蓋体側耳部３３がよりめくり易くなる。

また、図６の（ロ）に示すように、容器本体側耳部２３に突起２３ｂを設けた上で蓋体側耳部３３には立上り部３３ｂを設けないようにしてもよい。こうすることによって蓋体３０を容器本体２０に装着した状態で、蓋体側耳部３３が突起２３ｂにより先上がりに傾斜するため、蓋体側耳部３３に立上り部３３ｂを設けることなく容器本体側耳部２３および蓋体側耳部３３の先端部間に隙間を形成することができる。

また、上記の実施形態において、強制離間手段としての容器本体側耳部２３に突設された突起２３ｂを、容器本体側耳部２３に代えて蓋体側耳部３３に設けてもよい。

また、強制離間手段は、前記のような突起２３ｂに限るものではない。たとえば、図６の（ハ）に示すように、容器本体側耳部２３に特に突起２３ｂを設けることなく、蓋体側耳部３３に立上り部３３ｂのみを設けるようにしてもよい。この場合は、本発明に係る強制離間手段は、蓋体側耳部３３に設けられた立上り部３３ｂということになる。

（２）上記の実施形態において、容器本体２０の周壁２１ｂに例えば蛇腹式などの減容誘導部を形成し、当該容器本体２０を深さ方向へ圧縮変形させることにより容器本体の減容が容易に行い得るようにしてもよい。こうすることによって不要になった食品用容器１０を廃棄するに際し、容器本体２０は、大きな力を要することなく容易に減容し得るものになる。したがって、従来、食品用容器の廃棄に際し、減容が困難であるため減容せずにそのまま廃棄に付すことで嵩張ってしまい、廃棄容器の効率的な収集や取り扱いができなくなるというような不都合を解消することができる。

（３）上記の実施形態においては、容器本体２０の環状内嵌部２２において、容器本体側耳部２３に対応した部分に他の部分より高さ寸法を低くした円弧状隅部２２ｄを設けるとともに、蓋体３０の環状外嵌部３２にも円弧状隅部２２ｄに対応するように他の部分より凹ませた円弧状隅部３２ｄを設け、この円弧状隅部３２ｄによって本発明に係る逃し凹部を形成させているが、こうする代わりに、容器本体２０の開口部に、当初から円弧状隅部に対応した部分を除いて凸条を設けるとともに、蓋体３０の周縁部の前記凸条に対応した部分にのみ凹条用の外嵌部を設け、これによって隣設した外嵌部間に本発明に係る逃し凹部を形成させるようにしてもよい。

【発明の効果】
本発明の食品用容器によれば、容器本体の開口部から外方に向けて本体側耳部を突設し、蓋体には、本体側耳部に対向するように蓋体側耳部を設け、各耳部のいずれか一方または双方には、蓋体側耳部の摘持を容易にすべく両者間を離間させる強制離間手段を設けているため、当該強制離間手段の存在によって各耳部間に強制的に隙間が形成され、この隙間を手掛かりにして蓋体側耳部を摘持することで、蓋体を容器本体から容易かつ迅速に取り外すことができる。
