数多くの採取細菌を検討した結果、複数の病原菌シュードモナス・チコリ細菌に対して強い抗菌活性を有するシュードモナス フルオレセンス細菌として、シュードモナス フルオレセンス G7090(Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090)、シュードモナス フルオレセンス B8035(Pseudomonas fluorescens B8035)、シュードモナス フルオレセンス E1105(Pseudomonas fluorescens E1105)を得ることができた。
【0014】
まず、上記の本発明のシュードモナス フルオレセンス G7090(Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090)を適当な培地で培養する。
【0016】
次に本発明のシュードモナス フルオレセンス G7090(Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090)を有効成分とする微生物農薬の使用方法を述べる。
【0017】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for controlling rot diseases such as lettuce using Pseudomonas chicory as a pathogen. Furthermore, a new strain belonging to the scientific name Pseudomonas fluorescens having an antagonistic ability against Pseudomonas chicory, and spoilage such as lettuce by Pseudomonas chicory by spraying this strain on lettuce alive. The present invention relates to a method for controlling diseases.
[0002]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Conventionally, bacteria belonging to Pseudomonas chicory have been known to cause enormous diseases in crops such as lettuce and chicory.
[0003]
The disease caused by Pseudomonas chicory is known as a bacterial disease, and there are few effective and safe control methods in spite of the great damage to lettuce. Conventional methods for controlling bacterial diseases in general include, for example, copper sulfate and basic copper chloride and other antibiotics such as copper agents and streptomycin. There is a fear. There are also environmental problems such as killing useful microorganisms.
[0004]
A method for controlling plant diseases using Pseudomonas bacteria has been patented in several crop diseases. For example, the bacterial wilt of solanaceous plants (JP-A-6-9325, JP-A-6-86668, JP-B-6-17291), rice seedling blight (JP-A-4-104783), Plant diseases caused by plant pathogenic fungi of the genus Potrytis and Penicillium (JP-A-4-77405), plant diseases caused by Gram-positive bacteria (JP-A-5-310521), plant diseases caused by Fusarium spp. No. 6-6523) and the like can be controlled by Pseudomonas bacteria. However, no control by Pseudomonas fluorescens has been reported for spoilage diseases such as lettuce with Pseudomonas chicory as a pathogen.
[0005]
The present invention provides a Pseudomonas fluorescens bacterium having high antagonism against rot diseases such as lettuce caused by Pseudomonas chicory, and further a microbial pesticide composition for controlling rot disease comprising the bacterium as an active ingredient The present invention also provides a method for controlling rot diseases such as lettuce by treating plants with the bacteria.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present inventors have found that Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090 strain (Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090) belonging to Pseudomonas fluorescens bacteria effectively controls lettuce rot caused by Pseudomonas chicory, and led to the present invention.
[0007]
That is, the present invention relates to a rot disease characterized by treating a plant with Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090 strain (Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090) belonging to Pseudomonas fluorescens having antagonism against the pathogenic Pseudomonas chicory bacterium. It is a control method.
[0008]
The present invention also relates to a Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090 strain having an ability to control rot caused by Pseudomonas chicory as a pathogen.
[0009]
Furthermore, the present invention is for controlling rot diseases comprising as an active ingredient the Pseudomonas fluorescens strain G7090 which has an antagonistic ability against Pseudomonas chicory, which is a pathogen of rot diseases such as lettuce. The microbial pesticide composition.
[0010]
The spoilage disease to which the present invention is applied is a spoilage disease that uses Pseudomonas chicory as a pathogen. For example, there are rot diseases such as lettuce and chicory, but are not limited thereto.
[0011]
The method for collecting the strain of the present invention is as follows.
[0012]
In order to search for bacteria that are antagonistic to the pathogen Pseudomonas chicory bacteria among the lettuce plants, first lettuce leaves were immersed in a bacterial suspension in which the collected test bacteria were cultured, air-dried, A bacterial suspension at a predetermined concentration of the pathogenic fungus Pseudomonas chicory was spray-inoculated and then placed at 25 ° C. for 72 hours to examine the degree of spoilage. As a result of examining a large number of collected bacteria, Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090 (Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090), Pseudomonas fluorescens B8035 (Pseudomonas fluorescens fluorescens fluorescens fluorescens fluorescens bacterium having strong antibacterial activity against a plurality of pathogenic Pseudomonas chicory bacteria. B8035), Pseudomonas fluorescens E1105 (Pseudomonas fluorescens E1105) could be obtained. In particular, Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090 strain (Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090) showed a high control effect. The bacteriological properties of the obtained Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090 bacterial strain are as follows.
When a strain having the above bacteriological properties is searched based on "Bergey's Manual of Systematic Bacteriology, Vol. 1, 1984", Gram-negative bacilli , Aerobic growth, and positive oxidase activity, this strain belongs to the genus Pseudomonas, and further has properties of Pseudomonas fluorescens. It was found to have Therefore, this strain was named Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090 (Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090) and deposited with the Institute of Biotechnology, Institute of Industrial Science and Technology on March 1, 2000. P-17773).
[0013]
Next, the contents of the present invention will be described.
[0014]
First, Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090 (Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090) of the present invention is cultured in an appropriate medium. The medium used here is not particularly limited as long as the strain grows, and a commonly used medium may be used. After culturing and growing the strain, it is collected by centrifugation or membrane concentration, mixed with a protective agent, lyophilized, and then prepared as a powdery or granular microbial pesticide containing the strain. As the protective agent, a mixture of one or more sugars such as glucose, fructose, sucrose and trehalose can be used.
[0015]
On the other hand, Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090 (Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090) of the present invention can be similarly cultured and then mixed with an appropriate carrier to prepare a microbial pesticide composition comprising a powder or a granule. Carriers in this case include mineral powders such as talc, clay, calcium carbonate, and diatomaceous earth, peat moss, polymer compounds such as polyvinyl alcohol, and natural polymer compounds such as xanthan gum and alginic acid.
[0016]
Next, a method for using a microbial pesticide containing Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090 (Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090) as an active ingredient will be described.
[0017]
Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090 (Pseudomonas fluorescens G7090) of this invention shows the effect as an antibacterial agent by existing in the leaf, stem, etc. of the crop used as the target of rot diseases, such as lettuce. Therefore, it is possible to fix the plant body by suspending it in water and spraying it over the whole seedling, and to control the rot caused by Pseudomonas chicory. Thus, it became possible to control rot caused by Pseudomonas chicory by a simple treatment method using a microbial pesticide containing the present strain as an active ingredient.
